ASURE Centrepoint Motel

The property is convenient to central Christchurch . The room 7A , was on the first floor ,, stairs only .Room was clean and bed comfortable , Staff were friendly , this room was quiet.. a little city traffic noise .but to be expected

I was very surprised to be charged for parking on the property . I read in booking.com , that private parking was available and would be a NZD (see Photo below) ..but I was expecting it to be a property outside of the Motel complex. ie a neighbouring private property ..... instead it was the Motelier themselves charging for their own Parking spaces . $10NZD or I could park on the street I was told . They said it was the increase in city rates that they were charging for their carparks . So be aware . they charge for their own carparks

Localisation très bien. Lit confortable et salle de douche bien. Par contre l'espace salon est réduit à sa plus simple expression: 2 fauteuils dans un coin. Le balcon mentionné est en fait pas privatif et pas juste devant la chambre ( et pourtant nous avions été soit disant upgradé!). Fenetres de faible hauteur sous le toit donc pas très lumineux. Les commentaires dans le descriptif que j'avais imprimé laisse penser qu'il y a un PDJ posible, hors il n'en est rien

Checking in to get my key she said was a charge of $10 for carpark this was not mentioned before hand just seemed to be sprange on me. TV could not get to work. 2 single beds were bouncy not very comfortable flet like tip out. Place/room very average on what I paid for.

Excellent location, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Easy short walking distance to main attractions. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Great value for money and we will definitely be back.

Internal Stairs were a little creaky.

The location was central, the housekeeping staff were lovely.

The owner of the property behaved atrociously. There was clearly mismatch between my reservation (1 double/two singles in one of the rooms) and what they had prepared. Mistakes happen. The problems came when we raised with them - they threatened us, told us we could leave and find somewhere else, and would not take any action to try and help - we had to raise through Booking.com (who were good) - but the last thing you need when you are in a new city. Even when booking.com asked them to reflect the reservation, they refused. Everything also cost additionally - the car parking (for a motel) had a surcharge; the laundry cost $4 per washer/dryer. Incredibly dissappointing.

When I tried to change the dates for my booking on booking.com it created a second booking which I didn't know about. When I submitted a request to have it cancelled for free they charged me anyway. It was clearly a mistake and had I been made aware sooner I could've cancelled it within the cut off... It was a choice and they chose money... Consequently I will never stay with them again, and I caution others to be careful with them.

I had a wonderful stay at Centre Point Colombo during my trip to Christchurch. The location is great—close to the city centre but still peaceful and quiet. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed.

They were friendly and welcoming .

The motel was fantastic! We were met with incredibly friendly, helpful staff. They were really thorough in explaining about the local area. They provided maps along with other leaflets which was really helpful. It really enabled us to make the most out of our short amount of time in Christchurch. The room was very clean and perfect for what we needed. The motel was a 10 minute walk from the city which was great and we were able to park our car at the motel for an extra $10. They also let us leave our car there after we had checked out so we could explore the city which we really appreciated. We loved our stay and would have no hesitation in staying again if we were in the area.

Un très bon motel parfaitement fonctionnel avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un court séjour. La litterie était très confortable, le personnel accueillant et serviable. Le motel est situé à 10 minutes à pied du centre de Christchurch. Un parking, sans frais, est également à disposition ainsi qu'une laverie.

Il n'y a pas de point spécifique que nous n'avons pas apprécié, la note de 8 reflète parfaitement ce que nous avons pensé de l'établissement.

Clean and tidy good location aswell.

Il y avait du café et du the, une bouilloire et un grille pain. On a pu prendre notre petit déjeuner dans la chambre. Bien situé pour accéder au centre ville à pied et très bon rapport qualité prix .

Le fait de devoir payer 10 dollars pour se garer (on s’est garé dans la rue), la taille de la chambre (un peu petite mais le rapport qualité prix était très bon)

This stay we had a very small room and were woken by one of the staff drilling the walls in the room Nextdoor. Given it was New Years Day I would have thought they could’ve waited until after check out at 10am

I didn’t like being charged for parking - this is the first time I’ve gone to a motel then been charged parking - parking was listed in facilities and it should be listed as “paid” parking available. After much searching I did finally find a comment saying $10 per car, which is not much but I feel it wasn’t very up front

The room was spacious and very clean! Not far from the city center. Free parking in the street.

There was no stove or oven, so we can't really cook in the kitchen. The mattress was not comfortable. You have to pay 10$ to use the carpark of the motel! (You can park your car in the street for free)

The walls are so thin, it is so easy to hear what gossip talks at the next door.

It is very quiet, the staff are helpful and friendly. The location is within a 10 min walk to the city center. The room has all the necessary facilities and everything was clean.

Location is great in the centre of Christchurch. Within easy walking distance of the Town Hall and Casino. Very clean. No traffic noise and units very soundproof. Bed and pillows comfy. Pleasant staff.

Was 100% happy with CentrePoint on Colombo.

Good location within walking distance of centre, also on bus route from airport. Large room with table & chairs, and basic kitchen facilities.

Lovely lady at reception was very thoughtful about secure parking for our motorbikes, bed was very comfortable, road noise was minimal, location was perfect for function at town hall and unit was very clean.

Nothing, no complaints at all. We head over to Chch regularly and this is one of the best we've stayed in, we often try new ones depending on what we are heading over for.

I requested 2 single beds but felt they were a bit narrow. Toilet shower has no rack to keep toiletries.

Didn’t like the seating arrangement outside my room, had to close windows and draw curtains for privacy.

All was good

The unit was small but well appointed (kitchen facilities, etc.), the shower was good, and the location was excellent (close to city centre, Town Hall, Casino, Art Gallery, etc.). I didn't expect my room to be serviced but it was.

I had a problem with Sky reception at just the wrong time (early morning All Blacks test) but it would probably be unfair to blame the hostelry. The bathroom could include a larger shelf for toiletries.

Great location to walk to CBD. The room was comfortable and clean.
