Weird layout, we were in a 1 bedroom unit. Bathroom and kitchen area were huge, too big with wasted space. Living area and bedroom were TINY. No room to put a suitcase, we couldn't even use the wardrobe to store it because there was a giant bedside table blocking the door. There was only about a foot or so on all 3 sides of the bed, super tiny room. Bed was comfortable though! Living area had table jammed up against wall.. So if you plan on spending a lot of time in your room you may want to consider a bigger place.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Great location as it is near Tram stop 15 and the Quake museum. It has green practices such as separate food waste and recycling.
You are expected to empty your rubbish, food waste, and recycling at the end of your stay. For $236 a night , it was rude to expect us to take our rubbish, etc, from the apartments to the outside bins. Also, apart from day 1 facilities like tea and coffee, we never got a top up, and for $236 a night, we expected more coffee, etc. We had 1 extra toilet roll for 4 days, between 2 people. In addition our bed was two twins pushed together but not mattress topper was on so we felt the hard line down the middle of the bed. We found a spare quilt to put under the bedsheets make it comfortable. No tv or air-conditioning in the bed room. The bed was 40cm of the wall at your feet end.

There was not much room to put your luggage (although there was a good sized wardrobe). No where comfortable to sit in the lounge area.

The apartment was very well equipped and having parking was fantastic. The apartments and building are very well maintained, very clean and organised. These apartments will be where we stay every-time we travel to Christchurch.

Check in wasn't quite ready at 2pm for lock box collection, however we found a number to call and someone came out within 5mins with our envelope with key cards.

Beautiful bed linen and towels. Balcony. Excellently located with the hop-on hop-off tram stopping on the corner. Within walking distance of many tourists sights.
