Schitterende villa. Mooie tuin.

My friend and I loved our stay. We stayed in the Sunrise Villa and it was gorgeous! The staff was so friendly and helpful especially with airport transport, booking tuktuks, and booking to release the turtles. We also took advantage of the daily yoga classes which were in such an aesthetic shala. So clean with daily housekeeping who made the cutest towel designs every day. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Абсолютно не стоит своих денег , бассейн в тени , чистота тоже вызывает вопросы , внутри него живет огромная жаба 🐸, в чайнике как будто варили какую то еду , отвратительный запах , вилла прилично потрепанная , при выселении предложили оплатить чужой счет за еду , вместо помощи с багажом

Die Sunrise Villa war sehr sauber, wurde täglich gereinigt und wir bekamen jeden Tag frisches Wasser. Die Villa ist schön gestaltet, geräumig und die Betten sind bequem. Besonders gut hat uns die ruhige Lage etwas abseits vom Hauptbereich gefallen.

Ein kleiner Nachteil ist, dass es weder drinnen noch draußen einen richtigen Tisch oder Sitzbereich gibt. Auch draußen gibt es nur zwei Liegen und zwei Sitzsäcke – für eine Villa, die für bis zu sechs Personen gedacht ist, ist das eigentlich zu wenig. Für uns zu dritt hat es gepasst, aber mit mehr Personen wäre es unpraktisch gewesen. Das Essen im Resort ist sehr lecker, aber deutlich teurer als in anderen Restaurants in Sri Lanka und die Portionen sind eher klein. Außerdem war das Publikum im Hauptbereich teilweise etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig – oft laut und manche Gäste saßen sogar im Bikini im Restaurant.

Amazing villa with plenty of private space—highly recommend! The villa is very spacious, beautifully designed inside, and has a lovely open layout. It was fun to see the monkeys in the mornings! The resort itself is beautiful, with great food options, and the staff were very helpful, even bringing food and drinks to our villa on request.

The villa was absolutely incredible — truly beautiful and very special. The highlight was definitely the pool and the rooftop terrace, which had so much space for yoga, relaxing, and spending time together. The interior design was stunning and there was plenty of space for everyone, making it perfect for group stays or special trips with friends. The in-house yoga and Pilates studio was another big highlight. The food was incredibly good, and the vibe of the place, the people, and the staff were all amazing. Waking up and seeing wild monkeys in the trees, surrounded by jungle and coconut trees, made the experience feel truly unique and unforgettable.

The staff always had a smile on their faces and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was fabulous for the whole family. The facilities were amazing and the food was excellent. The location was walking distance to the surf beaches.

كل شي حلو صراحه و الغرفه وسيعه و فيها تكييف و مطبخ فيه كل شي من ادوات بس هم كاتبي المسبح برايفت (هو يبين من باب الخارجي قليلا )

El mejor alojamiento en el que hemos estado en Sri Lanka. La villa estaba súper limpia y tenía todo lo que se puede pedir (utensilios de cocina, toallas, agua cada día, secador, toallas de piscina, gel y champú…). El agua de la ducha sale caliente y con buena presión. La comida del sitio también es muy rica y la atención, excelente. Cada habitación y el salón tienen aire acondicionado que no hace ruido y funciona bien. Si quieres relajarte en tus vacaciones en un sitio de ensueño, este es tu lugar. 100% recomendable.

Estaba un poco lejos de todo y sí o sí hay que coger tuktuk o moto. En tuktuk será unos 6-7minutos hasta donde están las tiendas y restaurantes.

This felt like living in luxury. The villa interior was to a really high standard and provided a great place to relax after exploring the local area. The kids also loved the pool and were always excited to jump in first thing in the morning and whenever we arrived back. The staff were helpful and friendly and quick to respond to any requests.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa which was gorgeous. We were visited by monkeys every morning and evening.

The reception staff did not seem to know the area very well and so weren’t great at recommending places to eat etc.

Beautiful property

Wij hadden een prachtige villa. De apen sprongen door onze tuin. Een zeer mooie accommodatie. Heerlijk eten

Het was jammer dat we van de meeste faciliteiten geen gebruik konden maken omdat wij in het laagseizoen zaten.

Heerlijk ruim, fijn en schoon prive zwembad, keuken met prima uitrusting om smoothies te maken met de blender, pancakes te bakken en een grote koelkast en vriezer. Degelijkse schoonmaak was erg prettig, waarbij ook het zwembad wordt gereinigd. Prijs/kwalitet verhouding heel erg goed. Personeel ook erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De lunch met de kip schnitzel sandwich was ook heel erg lekker!

Eigenlijk was alles goed. De ijsbad sessie was ook leuk, maar dat bad had nog wel kouder gemogen. Verder ligt het resort iets verder van ons favoriete strand af: Welingama. Maar met de Uber of Pick-Me app was er altijd snel een taxi beschikbaar of TukTuk

The service wasn’t great - we asked for a coffee, blanket, an extra bottle of water (we weren’t given enough bottles for the number of guests we booked for) and had difficulty getting basic amenities. We tried to reach out during our stay to let them know the service wasn't great, but we were just given excuses. The staff were also quite rude to our local driver when he was trying to work out how we could get our group and their luggage to the villa given the narrow roads and our large tour bus.

We were a group of 6 and stayed here for 4 nights. It had everything that we needed. Good sound system, clean pool, dark curtains and most importantly good vibes.

The property is amazing - chill, spacious and has a restaurant with nice food. Everything is reachable within a short tuk tuk ride and it’s nice to be a bit further from a busy town.

It’s in some places a bit worn, but clean and comfortable.

The villa was absolutely perfect, the best place for a weekend getaway. Rooms were immaculate, clean and spacious. The Villa comes with its own pool which was a welcome retreat. Also creds to the super friendly staff for being so accommodating.

We recently stayed at this stunning 3-story villa for a girls' trip, and it was absolutely perfect! The interior design is beautiful and very functional, making it feel like a luxurious home away from home. The vibe of the place is so inviting, and we instantly felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. One of the highlights was the private pool, which was just perfect for lounging around during the day. The villa was fully equipped with everything we needed plates, spoons, fridge, microwave, blender, and more. It made cooking and enjoying meals together super convenient. Another great feature was the rooftop area upstairs, offering a lovely space to unwind and take in the views. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

This villa was amazing with modern facilities and large bedrooms / en-suites (best pillows ever), in a great location, just a short Tuk ride to the beach and lots of places to eat. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. There were even a troop of monkeys that came to visit.

Dogs wandering freely so kept coming into the villa garden.

Crazy villa and the most beautiful I have seen in the area Everything is new and perfect, the pool and the rooms are very clean There is a good atmosphere and smell everywhere We liked that there is a washing machine that you can wash clothes and of course it is part of the most amazing resort in Sri Lanka The staff is excellent and their level of service is very high There is a huge balcony that overlooks parts of a jungle with monkeys and dragon lizards just crazy

Amazing stay in Terra Villas. The villa is brand new, and is exactly as described on the pictures. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, the pool is amazing, and the whole location is calm and feels very high-end. The restaurant and yoga classes are amazing as well.

As everywhere in Sri Lanka, you might encounter some animals in the garden. We spotted some monkeys enjoying the pool area one morning. The staff has been quick to answer and clean everything.

The Villa is completely stuffed with cooking equipment, TV and stereo system and so on. The staff is lovely and helped with everything we wanted. We came together six friends and just had amazing time, we'll definitely come back.

The location is very handy: Surfing spots are easily accessible within a couple of minutes driving. Kabalana beach is around the corner, in walking distance. And yes, Ahangama has been flourishing in regard to tourism in the last couple of years. A concept resort like theirs in this location is just great! The villa is definitely a great way to have privacy while still being attached to a hotel with café and yoga space. Everything is quite newly built (the villa was a bit over a year old when we visited in January 2024). The interior design is modern, all kept in Boho style. The garden is lush and green.

We expected more for this price based on the listing. It is like they want to hit luxury, but they just can't fulfil their own expectations: When we arrived, the person who welcomed us first wanted to get the payment done, while we were still standing in the garden, not having had entered the space. Then, she gave us a super short check in, without being able to answer questions fluently in English. It left us feeling it's all about the money, not about hosting. We didn't know whom to contact for inquiries, questions, room service or similar, as there is no phone in the house and no contact number. Instead, we had to walk through the whole resort to the reception to ask for basic things. A random private local number texted us a day before arrival about our arrival time. Very unprofessional. The villa is equipped with one type of socket with no universal plug adapter. When we asked for an adapter, a staff member walked in. Without asking or informing, he entered the private rooms to check if we are telling the truth. It felt intruding. The ground floor room is so small that we couldn't open our standard sized suitcase next to the bed. Definitely badly planned. We couldn't open the glass sliding doors to the garden, as the mosquitoes were just all over the place. The villa comes with a nice kitchen area. Though, basics like coffee, tea, sweetener and milk were not available initially. It was brought in simple plastic bags from the shop after we had asked for it. When asking for more refill water, the bar wanted to charge us 1 USD per 1 litre bottle. The menu in the hotel café is quite specific; we tried the breakfast once, but weren't big fans. Though, they also say that breakfast is not available when we booked the villa. Overall, the place has so much potential. We hope for them to improve (staff training, understanding the needs of their target group), then we would consider coming back.

The most amazing place we’ve been in seri lanka and one of the best in all our trips ever. perfect vibe, pictures cannot describe. if it’s in your budget (and even if it's not) book it. big rooms amazing pool and beautiful garden and plants. recommend!

The villa was was simply amazing! New, clean and well located

The villa is very big and comfortable. If I will be back in Sri lanka, i would think of comming there. BUt only to the villas the rooms in hotel part are average.

The villas have private pools which are great but, the staff just randomly goes into your swimming pool area to take something from storage. Its not good when you want privacy and suddenly someone is walking around you. They do not inform you that they will be comming over. The food in their restaurant is overpriced, could be better and bigger portions.

A modern villa with good facilities. Very well looked after. Clean. Modern shower rooms with hot water and soap, shower gel and shampoo. Great Air Con. Lovely new resort next door to get drinks at bar or breakfast, lunch and dinner and 'good coffee'. Very welcoming and friendly staff who went out of their way to help.

Internet let it down (I'm sure this will be fixed ASAP). Probably a quick fix with more boosters. We did ask and they tried to fix but still we could only get internet outside by the pool and not in any rooms in the villa and TV did not work because of this. We were out most of the time so it did not spoil our stay.

Wonderful new villas. It's cozy inside, new furniture and new utensils in the kitchen, everything you need for cooking is in the bathrooms. Cleaning was done every day. Convenient location in the Ahangama area, all local delicious and beautiful places are close. Terra Resort has its own cafe, where the food is delicious and the staff is friendly.

It was very modern, clean and tidy. Had a very cozy vibe and the resort next to it had some amazing food too ! It was just perfect

What an incredible experience! This villa is the type of place that I would come back to again and again. It’s ideal for like a groups of surfer friends, since the location was so peaceful, nested in the jungle surrounded by the nature of SriLanka, and only a short 3min walk to the main beach Kabalana. The rooms are so nicely designed, with a lot of natural light & view of the jungle. If you work online like me this place accommodates really well, each bedroom has a small working desk & really decent wifi, I never had an issue. My favorite part by far of the whole place is the living room area. It looks out by the pool, and I’m a person who loves open spaces especially when renting out a villa, and this place did not disappoint 10/10 I will be coming back and bringing all my friends

Brand new villas, it was perfect for our family. 3 master bedrooms, everything with style, unique and clean. All my requests has been filled, thanks for that :) i would recommend for anyone who will come with his family to this area to check this villa.
