I had a very pleasant stay at Monkey Villa. The place was clean, comfortable, and peaceful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was also nice and convenient for exploring the area. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Monkey Villa to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay in Hikkaduwa.

Das Personal und der Inhaber waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schöner Garten mit gutem Pool. Die Zimmer sind riesig, mit grossem Balkon inklusive. Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Unsere Badezimmer Türe konnte nicht geschlossen werden, ansonsten alles ok.

Alles wie beschrieben, eine super Unterkunft mit sehr nettem Personal und einem super Frühstück. Zum Geburtstag gab es sogar eine Geburtstagstorte mit einem Happy Birthday vom Personal, echt super!

Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Heerlijk ontbijt. Veel vogels, apen en eekhoorns in de bomen rondom het verblijf.

The room was so spacious and clean! We had our own cooker, sink crockery and cutlery provided so it felt like a mini apartment. The host was so amazing and attentive!

Замечательная вилла, одно из лучших мест где мы останавливались на Шри Ланке, большие номера, все чисто красиво, шикарный бассейн, замечательный хозяин и помощники. Бронировали на два дня, но остались еще, если бы не желания побывать в других местах, так наверное и провели все время на этой вилле.

Большая комната, где есть все необходимое, красивый вид, большая терраса, где можно посидеть и послушать дождь, много обезьянок и других животных, вкусный и интересный завтрак Очень зелёный двор с бассейном, в нескольких минутах хотьбы очень красивый огромный пляж... Вдали от суеты, можно арендовать байк на месте и будет вообще шикарно Особенно хочется отметить доброту и отзывчивость с которой меня встретили и помогали во всех вопросах Когда ещё раз в Хиккадуву приеду, только здесь буду жить)

The host was very welcoming. The security guard who we met shortly was also a very nice gentleman. It was very spacious and everyone was happy about it.

One of the bed was not ready when we arrived. The washroom door did not have a lock.

Ein Traum. Im Pool schwimmen und die Affen beobachten. Auf dem Balkon sitzen und die Tiere bestaunen. Frühstück war super lecker, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sauberes und riesiges Zimmer mit Balkon. Die Lage für uns perfekt. Eine bezaubernde Wohlfühloase!

Alles perfekt. Super sympathischer Geschäftsführer und tolles Personal. Frühstücksbuffet, reichlich. Wohlfühloase in mitten der Natur, nicht weit vom Strand, saubere und gepflegter Pool.

Very caring and welcoming owners, nice pool in a nice and green garden. It is a peaceful place but still close to all the restaurants on the main street (no need for a tuk tuk to get there).

We had the garden appartment on the ground floor by the pool. It was a little musty and we had some issues with the AC which the owner took care of immediately. No monkeys spotted this time :)

L'emplacement, le personnel adorable et aux petits soins, jus de fruits et bouteilles d'eau à l'arrivée, clim et ventilateurs dans la chambre, propre, piscine superbe, petit déjeuner extraordinaire, singes dans les arbres. Tout est extra, un de nos meilleurs hébergement !!

Zelo prijazno osebje, neverjetna okolica (zelenje, opice), tako velike sobe in teras še nisem videla. Namestitev nudi pralni stroj in detergent. Plaža, restavracije, trgovine 2-5 min hoje.

V tej namestitvi ni bilo niti ene slabe stvari.

Je ne commente quasiment jamais sur booking mais cette fois ci ça a le mérite d’avoir une bonne appréciation pour l’accueil, le personnel, le petit déjeuné, le lieu qui est magnifique. Un logement au cœur des singes. Merci 😁

Breakfast was great, staff were friendly, great location, very quiet, super clean. Supplied drinking water and the room was so convenient and laid out - air hangers, balcony, hanging space for clothes. Loved and would definitely come back!!

I liked everything no complaints

Tolle Unterkunft mit geräumigen Zimmern, die geschmackvoll eingerichtet sind! Besonders gut hat uns der große Balkon mit Außenküche gefallen! Und der Pool natürlich! Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und wir konnten unseren Aufenthalt unkompliziert verlängern. Die Villa ist ruhig gelegen und man ist innerhalb von 2 min am Strand sowie innerhalb von 15 Gehminuten im Zentrum. Gerne wieder!

Das Hotel ist super, der Pool hat den Kindern und uns auch gut gefallen. Klasse war auch der Kühlschrank auf dem Balkon, sowie die kleine Küchenzeile. Toll

My husband and I stayed at Monkey Villa, it was in a fantastic location, easy to walk to the beach, restaurants and cafes but tucked away so it was really peaceful at night. The room was very spacious, clean and the balcony/ kitchen had everything you could need. We had a lovely comfortable stay.

The host was extremely polite, the hospitality was incomparable. Literally the sweetest person I have ever met.

The ants are a big problem

Great value room with outdoor kitchenette and plenty of drinking water available at your disposable. Also loved that the AC worked well and they also had fans, including in the bathroom and outside near the kitchen. Property was in a really quiet area which was nice. Owner and staff are very nice and friendly. I wasn’t leaving until 6pm and they let me use the room until I had to leave which was very kind.

I would’ve liked a proper doona/duvet but it wasn’t a major issue.

Lovely large air conditioned rooms with big comfortable beds and hot water showers. Kitchens for every room and a large barrel of drinking water provided. The pool was beautiful with an outdoor shower. The staff were very kind and helpful, they carried our bags for us and allowed us to leave our belongings at the property after check out. We had a large lockable wardrobe in our room so could safely lock our whole backpacks which was great. The location is perfect. Loved watching the monkeys from our balcony while having a cup of tea.

we stayed in a large room with a private patio and an outdoor kitchen. the pool in the garden is great. the rooms are not cleaned every day, we had to ask separately when we wanted them to be cleaned. laundry is free. The location is great, there is a beach with bars and restaurants nearby, and there is a delicious restaurant next to the hotel, and a little further away there is a local bakery. they are just building an outdoor bar, they said they will be serving breakfast soon. good luck!

The pavement in the inner courtyard is fine gravel, there is not much dirt in the room, it would be better to have grass or sand. Many Russians stayed at the hotel.

We had an amazing stay in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka, and want to highlight the exceptional hospitality we received. Sanjeewa personally came to pick us up from the station, which made us feel incredibly welcomed. Due to a delayed check-out at Monkey Villa, we were kindly offered to stay at another nearby villa owned by the same proprietor. To make up for the inconvenience, we were also invited to a complimentary breakfast. Although we didn’t stay at Monkey Villa in the end, we want to emphasize that its location and accommodations were also excellent. However, we chose to stay at Finlanka because we absolutely loved it. Sanjeewa showed us both options and let us decide freely. To summarize, the service and facilities at Finlanka are outstanding. The breakfast was delicious, the customer care was impeccable, and the location near Turtle Beach is perfect.

This place is absolutely amazing! Reality fully corresponds to photos, reviews and descriptions. The location, the garden, the swimming pool, the room itself - everything was perfect. The entire place is well-maintained, clean and spacious. Our room has an amazing terrace/open kitchen. The water in the shower always was warm and the AC always worked perfectly. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed this place and would be happy to return some days.

More than expectations

Nice place with a small pool area. Close to the beach. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. Also the stuff is super friendly and helpful. There are monkeys 🙈🐵🐒🙉🙊

The room was SO SPACIOUS and clean! The aircon is really good and the beds are super comfortable. There is a kettle in the room too. The owner upgraded us for free and was really lovely! The young lady and younger boy on check in were both so helpful with our luggage and anything we needed during our stay. They were both so so nice! There is a washing machine which is free to use, and a fridge outside on the balcony. The pool is amazing and even has multicoloured lights in the evening which was magical! Location really good- short walking distance to the beach and nice restaurants nearby. Thank you so much and could not recommend this place enough!! :)

Absolutely amazing, we booked for 4 of us and there was an issue with the booking so the lovely owner upgraded us to a villa worth triple the price for no extra charge. Extremely clean property with lovely staff. For an incredibly cheap price.

Amazing Experience, well worth the price the owner was super nice and directed us to the room, the room was huge(literally had 3 fans which I haven’t seen even in 5 star hotels). Perfect location a 2 min walk to the beach.

A beautiful new , modern property. Huge spacious room and balcony with outdoor kitchen! The air con was really good, the bed was super comfy . Bonus washing machine.

Spacious room, looks brand new, comfy bed, nice insolation, kitchen with all the necessary furniture. One of our best accommodations since one month in Sri-Lanka I liked a lot the Purple-Faced Langurs that where leaving nearby The host and the staff were very caring

pretty big, especially for this price. it had a kitchen and refrigerator and plates and everything. the place was spotless and clean. it's just a few minutes away by walking from the beach. everything i needed for a much lower price than expected.

the non stick pots were damaged and there was scarring on their surface. which makes them very bad for your health the pool isn't cleaned in a daily basis. there is no garbage bag in the garbage can. they used shopping bags which aren't big enough. so it started smelling after a few days.

We really liked our stay at Monkey Villa. The owner Sanjeewa was very friendly, helpful, and he really cares that your stay is comfortable and you have everything you need. The facilities are great, especially the Internet — if you need to have work calls, it works perfectly. The villa is very clean and you can request cleaning of your room. The location is also good, close to the beach and has a nice quiet garden.

I don't know what could be better than feeding the monkeys bananas from the balcony) Everything is new, the rooms are very clean and beautiful.
