The seclusion and grandeur of it! A little spooky because we didn’t see a soul snd the weather was a bit dreary which I loved!!!! My favorite place so far! Beautiful grounds!!!!! Wish we could have stayed longer! Our room was perfect!

My husband thought it was a bit remote, but that’s why I chose it!!!

Die Zimmer und Gemeinschaftsräume haben einen ganz speziellen Charm. Sehr sauber, bequeme Betten , irisches Frühstück, schöne Umgebung. Wir waren sehr zufriefen.

Everything was wonderful! The staff was very friendly, and the grounds were so peaceful. The horses were beautiful. The whole setting was exceptional!

De grootte van de kamer, gescheiden warm en koud water kraan aan de wastafel. Prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding is een beetje zoek.

The staff were incredibly kind to me and my family. They accommodated all of our needs to make our stay with our 9 month old baby as comfortable as possible. They also went above and beyond to return some items that left behind us- you don't get that level of kindness in many places and we are so grateful to everyone there for all their outstanding hospitality.

Posto bellissimo in una campana tipicamente irlandese e citatissima che ti porta all’interno delle fairy tales. Gli interni di gran fascino ottocentesco sebbene i dettagli in pietra riportino ad epoche molto precedenti . Colazione full irish perfetta e molto abbondante. Camera ben arredata,accogliente e fornita di tutto.

Très bel endroit au calme dans une très belle bâtisse et un domaine avec un parc magnifique et des prairies à perte de vue où paissent les chevaux. Accueil chaleureux du propriété du domaine.

Endroit magnifique isolé en pleine campagne irlandaise, et donc inévitablement , il faut faire des kilomètres pour trouver un restaurant le soir ... Mais ce n'est pas un grand désagrément par rapport à la quiétude des lieux. Le propriétaire vous donnera les bonnes adresses ... et se chargera même de réserver si vous souhaitez !

Old world charm with modern conveniences. Very comfortable stay with great views. Room was spacious and clean, would have preferred tea/coffee facility in room rather than dining room. Breakfast was nice with decent selection.

La struttura restaurata è spettacolare, inserita in un parco privato molto, molto esteso, ed è tutto meraviglioso, anche per il silenzio che si gusta passeggiando o dormendo. Abbiamo avuto una buona accoglienza, la pulizia è ottima in tutti gli ambienti, la nostra camera era molto spaziosa perché aveva il terzo letto, molto illuminata da 3 finestre molto grandi che davano sul parco. Purtroppo , però, queste finestre non erano apribili. Rimaneva solo una finestra piccola, apribile verso un cortile interno, decisamente poco pratica. Peccato! Per avere un sonno davvero ristoratore è necessario procurarsi una mascherina per chi ha bisogno del buio totale perché al mattino molto presto entra in camera la luce solare. L'arredamento della camera e della sala colazione è adeguato all'ambiente, di grande buongusto, un piacere alla vista. La colazione buona, servita con grande gentilezza, con la disponibilità di piatti caldi preparati al momento. Abbiamo dormito due notti.

Le finestre che non si aprivano in camera, il mancato cambio degli asciugamani giornaliero.

Villa meravigliosa immersa nel verde, decisamente decentrata, bella forse anche per questo.

La colazione al mattino comprendeva una parte di buffet che era quasi vuoto, necessario chiamare le cameriere per fare aggiungere pane, yogurt, succhi di frutta. Anche qui purtroppo nessun prodotto monoporzione, può andare bene per i succhi che sono coperti ma non per lo yogurt che deve essere preso col cucchiaio. poco posto disponibile per la colazione con porblemi di attesa.

The ventilation in our room could have been better, but the weather was extremely hot and dry.

Das Haus ist sehr außergewöhnlich, man fühlt sich "königlich" aufgehoben. Die Räume sind mit antiken Möbeln ausgestattet und ein Zimmer in einer Rundkuppel konnte als Möglichkeit sich zu treffen genutzt werden. Das Frühstück war genial , jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Sehr freundliches Personal! Das Gutshaus liegt inmitten von Feldern, Weiden und Wiesen. dort wird ein Gestüt geführt. Ein Restaurant liegt ca. 7 km entfernt und hat außergewöhnliche Speisen.

This is my second stay at The Courtyard and I’ll almost certainly stay again when I’m next over in Cork. It’s a beautiful property in a quiet, rural location, furnished to a high standard, very clean, very comfortable, and serves a great breakfast.

There is nothing I don’t like about The Courtyard, but it’s worth mentioning for others that there’s no lunch or evening dining and it can be a little hard to find a good restaurant in the area. There are, however, a few fast food takeaways and a couple of sit down options in Fermoy.

Stunning location, surrounded by the countryside of county Cork, and the beautiful horses of the stud farm. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much bother for them. Substantial freshly cooked breakfast! Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. It was a ten minute walk to the closest village, but there’s a great pub there and take away.

The breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked and gluten free for me, which I appreciated.Very comfortable bed and peaceful location too.

Check in was unclear. We saw a sign for reception, but there wasn't anybody around. Eventually, I found another guest who told me to ring the main house.

The setting of the lodging was very cool, the people were nice and the rooms were well kept. Breakfast had a nice variety and was delicious.

We were placed on the top floor and it was warm outside so the room was very warm without air conditioning or fans. Also the staff charged my credit card incorrectly leading to more logistics for the purchase after the accommodation.

A very hot day((shouldn't moan, I know) but with only one small window in room there was a lack of ventilation.

Lovely location, convenient to the city but you would ideally drive, rather than have to rely on taxi. Great breakfast 😋

Wat ben ik blij dat ik hier heb verbleven. Het is schitterend op elk vlak. Locatie, gebouw, tuinen, kamers, badkamers, salon, eetkamer, personeel, ontbijt,… alles is super en dat aan een zeer redelijke prijs.

Wie hier iets op aan te merken heeft, doet volgens mij gewoon graag moeilijk!

The property was beautiful and offered a slower pace once finishing a hectic day of touring. We took walks to watch the foals and weanlings and then ended the evening in the wonderful lounge with wine and cheese

We enjoyed everything. We were worried about it being a bit away from ‘action’ and found out that was just what we needed to recharge!
