The staff at this Riad were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the two gentlemen at reception. We got there late at night and because the taxi could not drive to the door of the Riad one of them met us at the drop off point and walked us back. Again because it was late he allowed us go straight to bed and checked us in the next morning. Once checked in the following morning the other gentleman sat with us with a local map and marked all the recommended areas to visit and some recommendations for food and drinks. He even made a reservation for dinner for us that evening. Again on the morning of our departure wr had an early flight, they booked a taxi for us and walked us to the pick up point. Breakfast was provided and whilst there was no choice it was really good. Selection of breads and spreads, omelette, fruit and yoghurt. Excellent all round.

Ali and Yaswin (?) were very helpful and welcoming. The Riad is very well located and walking distance to the main sites. The property is nicely decorated and the rooms are a good size. The breakfast is also very tasty.

El Riad está muy bien ubicado, en la Medina, a pocos minutos de los principales sitios de interés y a pesar de estar en una zona con mucha vida (tiendas, restaurantes) hay bastante silencio y se duerme muy bien. Las instalaciones son muy bonitas y está todo muy muy limpio, la habitación es cómoda, todo funciona perfectamente (agua caliente, aire acondicionado, luces). El personal del Riad, que es muy amable y servicial, te va a buscar al punto donde te deja el taxista al llegar desde el aeropuerto, aunque tampoco es tan complicado llegar usando Google maps, además te ayudan con lo que necesites. El desayuno es espectacular, compuesto de panes y dulces tradicionales, fruta, zumo, yogur, café o té y se puede tomar en la azotea al aire libre o en espacio interior. La experiencia ha sido 100% positiva y sin duda alguna repetiremos en este lugar en nuestro próximo viaje.

La gran amabilidad del personal. Hemos tenido una estancia increíble, Yassin y Ali estuvieron pendientes y atendieron con muchísima amabilidad nuestras necesidades. La limpieza, impecable. Los desayunos no podían ser mejores. El Riad es precioso, las habitaciones ideales...Gracias a todo el staff por hacernos sentir como en casa.

L'emplacement du Riad est parfait. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et très bon. Les chambres ainsi que le riad sont très jolis.

Aucune isolation phonique. Nous avions la chambre a côté de l'accueil et entendions tous les allers et venues des clients y compris en pleine nuit. La salle de bain est très belle mais très étroite.

Accoglienza eccezionale. Staff disponibile per ogni richiesta. Posizione perfetta nel cuore della medina di Marrakech, ma in una zona silenziosa che permette di riposare senza essere disturbati. Ambienti comuni curati ed eleganti. Camera molto spaziosa, pulita, dotata di aria condizionata. La biancheria veniva cambiata ogni giorno. Letto grande e comodissimo. Bagno spazioso e con doccia walk-in. Colazione varia ed abbondante con prodotti freschi dolci e salati. Presenza di SPA di cui però non abbiamo usufruito.

Nulla. Se proprio devo dire qualcosa, forse metterei un cestino per i rifiuti più grande nel bagno e potrebbe essere utile un frigo bar.

Nagyon jó elhelyezkedésű szállás, minden látnivaló elérhető gyalogosan is. Finom és bőséges reggelit kínálnak, a szobák tágasak, tiszták és az ágyak is maximálisan kényelmesek. Köszönjük Yasin és Ali segítségét. Közvetlenségük és vendégszeretetük nagyon jólesett. Mindenben számíthattunk rájuk.

Nous remercions l'ensemble du personnel pour son accueil chaleureux et leur écoute tout au long de notre séjour. C'était notre première fois au Maroc et je pense que l'on aurait pas pu tomber sur meilleure équipe que celle du Riad Cologne pour nous accueillir avec toute l'amabilité marocaine ! Le petit déjeuner est juste délicieux et très copieux, c'était un régal ! Les chambres sont également très agréables. Le logement est parfaitement bien situé pour visiter tout ce que la Médina a à offrir. Merci au directeur de l'établissement qui peut être fier de son travail fourni mais surtout de l'équipe qui l'entoure ! 🥰

Le rangement quotidien par les femmes de chambres nous a un peu perturbé comme elles déplaçaient certaines affaires et nous n'en sommes pas habitués, mais mis à part ça tout était parfait !

The staff were extremely nice and helpful. They gave us very good advice as to how to negotiate in the souks.

The pillows were too hard and the room too warm. Also the incense too strong.

We lives our stay! Wonderful location, within the Medina, but quiet. Beautiful interiors, delicious big breakfast in the sunny terrace and the kindest, most thoughtful and attentive staff.

Twin room was a little small but the location, value and everything else was spot on!

Nous avons séjourné quatre nuits dans ce riad et tout a été absolument parfait. L’accueil était chaleureux, la chambre confortable et soignée, l’emplacement idéal, et le petit déjeuner délicieux. Un grand merci à Ali, Yassine ainsi qu’à tout le personnel, qui ont été aux petits soins avec nous tout au long du séjour. Une expérience que nous recommandons sans hésitation !

It took longer to check in than we expected - the staff shared a lot of information with us even though it was not our first visit to Marrakech. About 30 minutes.

Very well located and beautiful. Rooms are nicely done and comfortable with decent dimensions. The biggest plus for this property are the staff which were amazing during the whole stay - caring and genuinely nice as well as being super helpful!

Location, breakfast, room size. But the best part is the staff. Ali and Yassim (forgive me it I spelled your name incorrectly) did everything possible for us to enjoy our stay. From tips about Marrakesh to un uncomensurable effort to guarantee that a very important ring, of huge emotional value, that we forgot at the riad could reach us timely in Casablanca. I cannot thank enough both guys.

Lo único no nos gustó es que nos dieron la habitación al lado de recepción y se escuchaba todo. Si repetería en el riad pero no en esa habitación. Gracias por todo.

TUTTO: Dall'accoglienza avuta sin dall'arrivo da parte di Alí, è sempre stato super disponibile in tutto: dai consigli sui posti da visitare, luoghi dove mangiare, dove cambiare i soldi, informazioni di carattere generale e risposte alle nostre curiosità sul posto, sulla vita nella città ecc... La camera molto bella, spaziosa, un bagno molto grande ed un letto super comodo. Le signore della pulizia sempre carine e disponibili. La colazione è favolosa, consiglio di farla sempre al Riad in quanto è buonissima, completa e ricca di prelibatezze del posto. Noi abbiamo fatto colazione al Riad solo un giorno in quanto gli altri 3 avevamo dei tour che partivano presto, eppure ci hanno sempre dato una box per fare colazione nei vari pulmini dei tour. Il Riad si trova nel pieno centro della Medina, zona sicura e facilmente raggiungibile a piedi o dai taxi. Riad super consigliato, lo consiglio assolutamente!!! Grazie a tutto lo Staff

Wir haben die ersten 3 Nächte unserer Reise in diesem wunderschönen Riad verbracht.Von Anfang bis Ende haben wir uns so wohl gefühlt,danke Ali und Yassin und auch allen anderen Mitarbeitern/innen.Eine kleine sichere Oase mit viel Herz.Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist bezaubernd und sehr gut.Alles ist sehr sauber.Man verlässt das Riad als Freund!

Very clear and nice Riad in the Medina. Breakfast was delicious. Location is good, easy to find, 0-24 reception. Bed is comfortable, bathroom was also perfect. One of the staff members, Ali is an extremely excellent guy, he helped everything we asked.

Our room, nr. 9 was very noisy. It is located next to the kitchen and the stairs to the roof. Any time if other guests went up to the roof late night and when the staff worked in the kitchen early morning, it was impossible to sleep. This room cannot be used normally. An another staff member, I don't know his name, behaved unacceptably. We asked early breakfast due to daily trip which he reluctantly accepted the night before but he intentionally did not serve us next morning, therfore we couldn't eat normally. On the following morning he made heavy noises next to our room as a revengehe couldn't sleep enough the morning before. I never experienced such unpolite behaviour.

Great location- quiet but directly in the centre. Lovely rooftop for eating and relaxing. Make sure to have cash for the city tax

Very nice place to stay, during 14 days we were accommodated in 6 hotels, but this place was the best. The breakfast was excellent.Here you will feel the Moroccan atmosphere everywhere. Morocco is a full of scamming places, here you will feel safe. If you open your heart you will also feel like in a fairy tale.

Moroccan breakfast does not contain meat.:))

Nous avons séjourné trois nuits dans ce riad à Marrakech avec mon copain et tout était absolument parfait. L’endroit est très calme, idéal pour se reposer après les journées animées dans la médina. Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant, professionnel et toujours à l’écoute, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et délicieux. Le riad est également très bien situé, à proximité de la place Jemaa El Fna, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Bref, une expérience parfaite que nous recommandons sans hésitation !

Il riad è molto bello e si trova in una delle posizioni migliori nella medina alla giusta distanza tra la movida della piazza principale e le attrazioni da visitare. Le stanze sono sufficientemente grandi, inclusi i bagni e sono ben arredate. Lo staff è gentilissimo e disponibile e l'accoglienza ottima. Molto buona anche la colazione.

Ci è piaciuto tutto. Se proprio devo trovare un piccolo difetto, delle due camere che avevamo, quella che affacciava all'interno era molto silenziosa, l'altra un po' meno affacciando davanti all'ingresso e sotto la sala delle colazioni, ma niente di eccessivo.

A nossa estadia foi incrível. Os colaboradores foram ambos extremamente simpáticos e prestáveis, sempre disponíveis para ajudar. O pequeno-almoço era bom e bem servido. O ambiente do riad é super calmo e tranquilo, perfeito para descansar. A localização é ótima, especialmente para quem quer ficar na medina sem estar no meio da confusão. Recomendamos sem dúvida!

In questo Riad abbiamo trovato del personale super accogliente, gentile e disponibile. La colazione è eccezionale, la camera pulita, non enorme ma accogliente e con armadi in cui poter riporre tutte le cose. Il bagno grande e pulito. L'ultimo giorno dovevamo partire prestissimo per andare in aeroporto e lo staff si è premurato di farci trovare la colazione da portare con noi e di organizzarci un passaggio privato in aeroporto. Staff meraviglioso, ci siamo trovati benissimo con tutti!

Mi è piaciuto tutto, l'unica pecca è stata l'acqua calda per le docce, non durava tantissimo e bisognava aspettare un po' perché si riscaldasse nuovamente per fare la seconda doccia.

Todo en general estaba muy bien, muy buen trato por parte del personal.

Die Lage ist sehr gut - nicht weit von einem befahrbaren Parkplatz. Liegt ruhig in einer Seitengasse. Das Frühstück war reichlich und abwechslungsreich. Alles war sehr sauber.

Wie viele Riads auch hellhörig. Hat uns aber nicht gestört.

This stay was almost a 10/10 but for one thing: Sound proofing between rooms is not very good - which we think is normal for these type of buildings. Not the riad's fault, but other guests were very noisy in the corridors in the middle of the night/early hours of the morning, waking us up

First of all, the staff were amazing. Ali in particular was fantastic. He checked us in when we first arrived and he was so welcoming and explained everything clearly. He provided us with a physical map of Marrakech and also introduced us to an offline app version which was so helpful as there is no service in some parts of the souks. Ali also recommended some places that he thought we might like, he advised us where to and not to eat as I was worried about getting ill and also answered all my questions I had. There was another lovely lady staff member that was also so helpful and exchanged our large bills to small ones so I could buy jewelry in the Souks. As well as this, every other staff member that we encountered was so welcoming, when answering the door they always asked if we'd had a nice day and what we'd been up to. It gave the Riad a personal experience, it was a mix of like a hotel and also a house, the cleanliness of a hotel but also the warmth of a traditional Moroccan home. Breakfast at the Riad was also included in our stay. It was a Moroccan breakfast including things such as breads, freshly prepared fruit and yoghurt. It also came with fresh juice and unlimited hot drinks. The food was very tasty and the dining area was very clean. In regards to being accommodating, the staff even offered to prepare breakfast for us after the scheduled times. Breakfast is 8am - 11am and they were happy to wait until after serving time and even when we had our hot air balloon they were happy to provide breakfast to go! The location was great, the riad was located 30 seconds down a side street of the souks. It was great because once inside the Riad it was so quiet and peaceful, yet you walk just down the alleyway and you have the lively atmosphere of the souks. Everything was within a 15 minute walk and there was a car park about 1 minute away called Hamam Ziani which all ubers and transfers were familiar with and made it easy for everyone to find us.

Tutto. Posizione al centro della Medina ma in un vicolo leggermente appartato, il che consente di stare lontano dai rumori del suk. Entrando si avverte subito una tranquillità incredibile, profumo e musica tipica in filodiffusione. Stanza e bagno grandi e comodi (doccia super). Colazione eccezionale (vale un pranzo). Menzione speciale per lo staff: disponibilissimo ed estremamente cortese.

Suggerirei solo una mensola o un mobiletto in bagno per appoggiare il nécessaire da viaggio.

Petit riad bien décoré et bien entretenu. Chambre propre confortable mais petite. Emplacement au cœur de la vieille ville au milieu des ruelles bondées de monde. Personnel trés gentil, poli et trés serviable: c'était vraiment le point fort de ce logement! Petit déjeuner trés correct bien que répétitif.

L'étroitesse du lieu.

La ubicación es espectacular pero el entrar x el callejón que está a priori te dejo dudas de la elección que has hecho desde tu casa, pero una vez se abre la puerta entras en un remanso de paz y tranquilidad brutal, no se oye un ruido estando pegado a una de las calles más transitadas de la Medina.

Un lugar de ensueño , en el centro de la Medina , muy cerca de la plaza Jemaa el Fna . A pesar de estar en el centro, tanto el Riad como la azotea son lugares muy tranquilos para descansar después del día Una mención especial para Ali y Yassin por calidad humana, un 10 siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos con cualquier duda y hacer que nos sintiésemos en casa Gracias!!!!

A localização é excelente, bem no coração da medina, permitindo explorar tudo a poucos metros mesmo com o GPS nem sempre ajudando. A decoração é linda, com muito bom gosto e detalhes típicos marroquinos, transmitindo charme e autenticidade. A cama é extremamente confortável e o chuveiro é ótimo. O atendimento de Ali e Yasmine foi excelente, muito atencioso, com ótimas indicações de passeios e lugares para sair à noite. A limpeza é impecável, tudo cheiroso e bem cuidado, com as meninas da limpeza fazendo um ótimo trabalho. O café da manhã é muito gostoso, com opções típicas marroquinas, bem apresentadas e servidas com simpatia. A piscina pode ser usada a qualquer hora do dia ou da noite, mantendo o silêncio, e há música ambiente de bom gosto na área social e na piscina. O terraço é ótimo para tomar café ou apreciar a vista pela manhã, mas à tarde o calor torna a área interna da piscina mais agradável. Cheguei por volta das 10h da manhã e o check-in foi feito imediatamente, com o quarto já disponível e limpo, permitindo aproveitar a experiência desde cedo com tranquilidade e até chá de menta.

O atendimento pré-check-in foi insatisfatório. Desde a reserva até a chegada, as respostas dos atendentes foram mecânicas, limitadas a “sim” ou “não”, sem oferecer informações detalhadas ou recomendações úteis, o que gerou insegurança e uma péssima impressão inicial. Essa má impressão inicial contrasta totalmente com o atendimento ao vivo no Riad, que é atencioso e cordial. O que mais me incomodou foi o barulho. No primeiro quarto, a acústica da galeria espalha facilmente o som de hóspedes subindo escadas, conversando alto ou rindo a qualquer horário, tornando difícil aproveitar o ambiente tranquilo. Sugiro que o Riad considere placas pedindo silêncio para melhorar o conforto. Apesar de bonito, o quarto não é funcional. Faltam uma mesa com cadeira para se maquiar, um aparador para a mala e um cabideiro para pendurar roupas usadas ou organizar melhor os pertences. O armário existente é pouco prático, com portas viradas para a cama e espaço limitado de mobilidade. Além disso, não havia cortina, então não era possível deixar a janela aberta para a luz do dia, ficando restrito à luz artificial fria. O café da manhã, anunciado como continental, não corresponde totalmente ao esperado. Embora bonito e com opções típicas marroquinas, houve problema com ovos: ao pedir mais, fui informada que seria necessário pagar extra, mesmo minha reserva sendo para duas pessoas e eu viajando sozinha, o que achei inadequado.

Unforgettable experience — the best hospitality I’ve ever had! I’ve traveled to many countries around the world and stayed in hotels of all styles, but my experience at this Riad was simply exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine, warm hospitality that made me feel instantly at home. The staff are truly the heart of the place. attentive, kind, and always ready to help with any detail, whether it’s organizing tours, offering local recommendations, or preparing a mint tea at the end of the day. Their dedication goes far beyond what one would expect , it’s a level of care you only find in places run with love and pride. In summary, it was one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. This Riad is not just a place to stay , it’s a place to connect with the essence of Morocco and with incredible people. Congratulations to the entire team. I will definitely be back and recommend it with my eyes closed!

The breakfast was amazing: freshy baked flat breads and fresh squeezed orange juice along with omelette, fruit, yogurt. The two concierge gentleman, Abdul and Yazin were so helpful and patient. Their english was brilliant and they assisted with reservations, recommendations, and local information advice. The room was cleaned every day, the cool plunge pool was a valuable asset after day out exploring in the heat. The Riad was perfectly situated for access to most of the traditional tourist attractions like the main square, the market streets and Bahai palace.

The beds were sadly very uncomfortable and maybe that's our age. Our particular room which had 2 single beds was small and we could have done with a dressing table/cabinet to place our toiletries on etc.

The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, as well as beautiful. The breakfast each morning was substantive and delicious. All of this at a very reasonable price — excellent value.

Our room had much less natural light and was somewhat smaller than expected based on photos, but I suppose this explains the lower-than-expected price I was able to get. All in all, these are very minor downsides in comparison to the merits of Riad Cologne. Still a very pleasant stay.

All of the guys were extremely helpful and good natured. The room we had was perfect. Great wifi. Plenty of hot water and good air con. Lovely cotton sheets. An excellent room terrace where breakfast was served.

The first evening a very noisy couple arrived with no concern for their fellow guests. This however was dealt with well by the staff. The hot water could have been dangerously hot, if not carefully adjusted before using it.
