Green nature

Wat een heerlijk verblijf, midden in de mooie natuur. Ook de host was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam en we kregen elke ochtend een erg lekker en gevarieerd ontbijt. We zouden deze plek ten zeerste aanraden!

Wir können die Green nature Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Wir haben hier 3 Nächte verbracht, das Frühstück jeden Morgen war wahnsinnig gut und viel. Auch die Zimmerausstattung hatte alles was man irgendwie benötigen könnte. Das wahrscheinlich allerbeste an der Unterkunft ist aber eindeutig der Inhaber mit seiner Familie. Bei allmöglichen Problemen oder Fragen wurde uns mit einer Selbstverständlichkeit geholfen, die man sich nicht vorstellen kann. Seine Frau brachte jeden Tag das Frühstück und Welcome-Drinks als wir ankamen.

Alles war perfekt

Close enough to town to walk in, but tucked away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by greenery. The balcony was a real highlight — we could even watch the monkeys playing nearby! The room was comfortable, with a good bed and mosquito net, and the bathroom had a great shower with excellent water pressure. Breakfast was tasty and served on the balcony right outside our room. We were also welcomed with a cup of tea on arrival, which was a lovely touch. Wi-Fi was very good, which isn’t always a given in Sri Lanka, and our host was friendly, helpful and easily reachable via WhatsApp throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

The hosts were very accommodating. We arrived and were immediately served coffee. The room was very nice, we even had a fridge. Breakfast was delicious and we even had a visit from some monkeys.

It was amazing! The hosts are most friendly and the breakfast ist super good! We chilled on the balcony and enjoyed being admist the green nature - we even saw some monkeys playing around in the trees - extraordinary stay!

A very nice accomodation in a very good location, the room and batchroom were spacious, AC was working very well, the little kitchen was an added bonus. The breakfast was very nice and monkeys will definitely find you as you eat it, it was a real jungle experience. The hosts were very nice and for the price it was definitely unbeatable, I couldn't recommend more! We could park our tuktuk right outside!

Bardzo przyjemne, zadbane miejsce prowadzone przez bardzo miłą rodzinkę. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielami, blisko na plażę. Jest nawet kuchania gdyby ktos chcial sam gotowac. Klimatyzacja dziala bardzo dobrze.

De kamer was super mooi en super schoon! Je hebt vanaf het balkon echt een prachtig uitzicht. De douche heeft hele goeie waterdruk waarmee je heerlijk kunt douchen, ook warm. De host is mega vriendelijk en zijn vrouw maakt de lekkerste ontbijtjes en doet ook de was als je dat wil. In de kamer is ook een mooie keuken met koelkast. De airco werkt echt perfect en de kamer blijft lang cool. De locatie is helemaal top, vlakbij Turtle Beach en de gezellige hoofdstraat. Je kunt via de host ook tours boeken dat is heel handig. Als je met de tuk tuk komt kun.je die heel erg goed parkeren aan de voorkant, het is ook mooi bovenop de heuvel. Tot slot is het er in de avond heel erg stil en rustig waardoor je super lekker slaapt. Wij zouden absoluut terugkomen!

Het bed was wat aan de harde kant maar niet vervelend. Het bed is wel echt lekker groot en lang, dikke plus! Het klamboe is wel echt super fijn en schoon.

Это было лучшее место за всё наше путешествие по Шри-Ланке! Плюсы, которые нас покорили: Чистота и комфорт: Жилье безупречно чистое! Видно, что хозяева с любовью относятся к дому. В номере было всё необходимое для комфортного быта: - удобные кровати (что важно для спины после долгих прогулок) - кондиционер работал тихо и мощно, есть ночной режим ) - на кухне был полный набор посуды и очень чисто - в душе хороший напор воды и есть теплая вода. Расположение: Тихо, уютно, но при этом до океана 5-7 минут пешком. Единственное место, где точно можно спокойно поплавать (возле скалы Попугай) находится в 5 минутах. До пляжа с черепахами также 5 минут. Идеально расположен! При этом вечером и ночью, если хочется отдохнуть , будет тихо и спокойно!  Хозяева: Отдельное спасибо хозяевам! Это самые душевные люди. Они помогали нам со всеми вопросами, которые возникали) где лучше купить фрукты, куда сходить, что посмотреть. По адекватной цене хозяин отвезет вас в любое место и заберёт) если планируете дальние поездки также поможет обо всем договориться ). С ними мы чувствовали себя в полной безопасности! Территория: С балкона открывается потрясающий вид на вершины деревьев и пальм! По утрам мы могли вблизи наблюдать за павлинами, маленькими птичками, за разными видами обезьян и маленькими бурундучками! Это был восторг!!!

The room was very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and everything was nicely arranged. The view from the room was beautiful and relaxing, especially with the green surroundings. The environment was calm and peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great place to stay and I really enjoyed my time there.

Нам очень полюбилось это место :) хорошие оборудованные комнаты, все новое, а с балкона открывается прекрасный вид на джунгли. Душевные хозяева, очень стараются, чтобы отдых удался :) Очень хочется вернуться еще!

In the middle of nature where you get a close up view of the monkeys. Very close to Turtle Beach and Mirissa Beach. Good breakfast. Lovely host. Great wifi. Fridge.

Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen und bietet einen schönen Ausblick ins Grüne. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück übertraf all unsere Erwartungen.

Check-out ist um 11 Uhr anstatt wie angegeben um 12 Uhr.

Понравилось абсолютно все. Свежий и просторный номер, большая удобная кровать, всегда была горячая вода. Есть своя небольшая кухня, при желании можно готовить, посуда тоже есть. Рядом много кафе на любой вкус. Пляж в 3х минутах ходьбы. Нам полюбились вкусные и сытные завтраки в компании с обезьянами и бурундуками :) Хозяева очень внимательно относятся к гостям, что особенно приятно) у Супуна есть тук-тук, на котором мы обкатали ближайшие достопримечательности и пляжи. Очень рекомендую этот гестхаус!

Fijne homestay, weg van de drukte en de hoofdstraat, maar toch dicht bij het strand. De homestay heeft twee ruime appartementen met een eigen ingang boven de woning van de gastheer en zijn familie. Goede geluidsisolatie, geen geluidsoverdracht. Erg klantvriendelijk, snelle reactie op vragen via WhatsApp. De gastheer heeft ons met zijn tuktuk naar onze volgende accomodatie in Unawatuna gebracht tegen een schappelijke prijs. Ook hebben we via hem vervoer geregeld van Unawatuna naar Negombo. Duidelijk en prettig in de communicatie.

Mirissa als plaats, maar daar kan de homestay natuurlijk niets aan doen.

The accommodation was great — nice, clean, and comfortable. There was a terrace with a beautiful jungle view (just watch out for the monkeys! 😄). The owners were wonderful and even arranged scooters for us. The breakfasts were also excellent.

De rust en schoonheid van de accommodatie. Dichtbij de zee (lees minder 500 meter). Erg gastvrij. Zeer nette kamer en heerlijk ontbijt. En geweldig uitzicht. Een aanrader die wel bij mirissa willen verblijven maar niet in de drukte.

Bra och nära läge (5-7 min långsam promenad) till den fina Mirissa-stranden. Turtle beach ännu närmare. Ett ungt par som driver stället. Fint rum, så otroligt välstädat och luktar gott! Det bästa av allt är att du bara är några minuter från trafiken till Green Nature där du sitter i tystnad på balkongen & ser apor & fåglar och lyssnar till alla djuren. Frukosten är fantastisk och värdparet gör allt för att du ska trivas! Mannen kör även tuk-tuk samt erbjuder förmånliga biljetter till valsafari om man önskar.

Vi gillade allt! Dock inget för rörelsehindrade då det är en backe upp och trappor på boendet.

The room was really good, with a fridge and a small kitchen area in case you want to cook. The breakfast is amazing, and the view makes it even better—you can enjoy it while watching monkeys in the trees (until they spot your food and try to get some!). The owners are very nice and always helpful. Just keep in mind that the house is up a hill, so it’s best to ask your taxi to drop you right at the door, as it’s still a steep climb if you’re carrying luggage.

Bardzo bardzo czysto! Cały pokój/obiek nowiutki, nowoczesny, pachnący! Kuchnia w pełni wyposażona - jest wszystko co potrzebne łącznie z wielką lodówką! Łazienka bardzo czysta i nowoczesna, płyn do rąk zapewniliśmy w dużej ilości! Śniadania duże. Piękny widok! Super pobyt i przesympatyczni gospodarze!

The accommodation is in a family house about 300 m from the beach. The owners are very pleasant young people who will do everything to accommodate you. The breakfast is perfect and always consists of fruit and European and Sri Lankan cuisine. The owner will personally bring it to you on the terrace at the agreed time. The terrace has a beautiful view of the tropical valley, monkeys and squirrels keep you company every day. The accommodation is very clean, with quiet air conditioning and a wonderful bed. It's actually a full-fledged apartment, with a large bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, living room and terrace. I think I travel quite a lot, but this was probably the best private accommodation I have ever experienced. I would like to return to these lovely people one day. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them once again for a wonderful stay. I think of you often.

The apartment is very clean, new, close to the beach and various restaurants. The breakfast is very generous, delicious, and different from a typical Sri Lankan one. Plus, it changes every day. The host is very helpful, he recommended some good beaches to visit and took us there. We were in the off-season and highly recommend it: it's not hot, there are significantly fewer people, prices are lower, and there are many coves and reefs that protect you from the waves, so you can swim. We were very happy with our choice of this place.

The host was very lovely and welcoming and provided us with great info on arrival. He kindly organised a rental scooter for us at a great price, as well as drove us to our next destination after checking out with his tuktuk. The breakfast was lovely and the location was good.

Monkeys stole our breakfast both mornings - one cheeky monkey in particular kept taking the jam. The shower had minimal pressure

The host family are so welcoming and friendly!! They provided juice on arrival and departure and were great to talk to to get more information about life in Sri Lanka. The best thing about home stays are the families you stay with! The property is beautiful with squirrels and monkeys in the trees out the back. The breakfast was unreal and it has a full kitchen if you wish to do your own meals. They even have a Tuktuk and he was able to drive us to our next destination. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back!

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is not just a room, it is a lovely self contained apartment with an amazing view, only 100 metres from the main road, but a world away from the chaos. It has a kitchen that contains a full sized fridge as well as a gas cooker and heaps of cooking utensils. The balcony overlooks an amazing green view, with monkeys as your breakfast companions. Breakfast is extraordinary and massive, with different selections every day. The hosts were so kind and willing to please. You really should stay here if you are in Mirissa. You will not be disappointed.

Supun was a lovely host and the place is a great location off the road where you feel part of the village. Super helpful and friendly and monkeys part of a gorgeous view from the balcony.

The room is big and comfortable with an own kitchen. The breakfast is just amazing and the hosts bring it Directly to the balcony. From the balcony you can see a monkey family and other animals. The hosts are very helpful with renting a Scooter etc. It is just a 5 Minute Walk to the Beach but you have no noise from the street. At the street you have restaurants and bars. I can recommend to stay at Green Nature. It is absolutely worth it!

The property is absolutely beautiful. Set amongst the most gorgeous nature, but just a 2 minute walk to the main road with all the bars, restaurants and shops. Beach is a further couple of minutes, fantastic location. Despite being so central, there is no noise at all from the main road, so you do feel as if you’re in your own private jungle oasis. Supun and his family went above and beyond with organising anything we needed and being available round the clock. Surf lessons were sorted by him and multiple pick ups/drop offs in his tuktuk. He even got up very early at 5am to see the weather and let us know if it would be good for whale watching that day. These little details and customer service are what make a truly exceptional stay and us leave with fond memories of our hosts and the kindness of the Sri Lankan people. A delicious breakfast was prepared every morning with a huge spread, with eggs, tea and fresh fruit with something different each day such as hoppers, dhal etc. The breakfast even had small attention to details such as the toast piled in the formation of a star and little faces on the eggs. We can see a lot of thought goes into everything Supun and family do for guests and it does not go unnoticed. The properly is new and spotlessly clean. Air conditioning was great as this was something we did not find often in other accommodations and the kitchenette was also great. Overall we thoroughly recommend this property and the kindness of Supun and his family have made this a standout of our Sri Lanka trip. We will be recommending to all our friends. Thank you for such a memorable stay Supun and we wish you the best of luck with green nature!

Everything was fantastic. Not one negative. We wish we could stay longer.

The accommodation is great, every morning very good and fresh breakfast, beautiful view straight from the terrace. Every morning you see a lot of monkeys looking for something to eat in the trees. In the garden at the lookout you can see peacocks, chipmunks, monitor lizards, and other types of animals. The accommodation was very clean and brand new. The owners will help you with everything they can, they even have a contact for watching blue whales. Just a few meters away you have a beach and a lot of restaurants. I highly recommend it and if we ever return to Sri Lanka, we will definitely book at least a week here again. Thank you 🙏

I love Sri Lanka. These rooms and their owners have created an incredible atmosphere of care and attention. All requests were immediately fulfilled, no problems with booking and payment. Nice, cozy and clean rooms. I recommend to everyone who wants to enjoy their vacation to the fullest. It's no more than a 5-minute walk to the ocean, there are all the necessary shops and cafes nearby. I will definitely come again.

This place is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, everything felt brand new and fresh. It’s the perfect combination of comfort and nature. Waking up to the sounds of birds and being surrounded by lush greenery was an incredible experience. The location couldn’t be better – tucked away in nature but just a short walk to the beach and the stunning Parrot’s Rock. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough – it’s like a hidden paradise that you’ll never want to leave!

Honestly, there’s not much to dislike! If I had to nitpick, maybe it’s that I didn’t book a longer stay! This is the kind of place where you wish you had more time to just relax and soak it all in. Other than that, everything was perfect

we went to Mirissa to see the beaches and decided to stay at this hotel - and we were not mistaken! Many thanks to the smiling host Supun > Homemade breakfast food prepared by his mother is very tasty (if you don't like spicy food, warn them in advance, but they know their business - they explained everything themselves) In general, we are satisfied with everything and recommend visiting again. We will definitely be back!!!
