Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Amazing views, quiet location and not far from the Slieve League cliffs and other fabulous attractions, such Fintra beach and Silver Strand plus waterfalls and scenic mountain drives. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beautifully decorated and two ensuite bathrooms, which is great for family of 5. Complimentary tea/coffee and treats was a nice touch. Towels provided and washing facility. Kitchen well equipped.
No freezer, even though that is a standard expectation when booking a house/apartment with kitchen. Fridge was small under counter, which was fine but a freezer would have been better. Also property was not easy to find. Though host sent info and images, due to lack of internet whilst on the road, we didn't receive the details until later. Still, thanks to another resident we found the place. Maybe a few signs would be helpful.

Reviewed Mar 24, 2026Property was so clean and everything was at hand, down to tinfoil! Bowls cups plates saucers in the kitchen, frying pans, baking trays, measuring cups all at hand! Washer&drier too! In honesty I was nervous about the appartment situation before arriving but the private parking that lead straight to the door and it felt like entering our own wee house once we got to our front door!

Reviewed Sep 5, 2025We loved everything about the place! Super neat and tidy - and the view of the mountains is brilliant! Beds are comfortable, everything you need in the kitchen is available too! It was just raining the whole time we were there and we didn't mind staying in because we got everything we needed and the place was super comfortable and relaxing! It is dog friendly place as well so we gave it an extra star! The staff gave us a list of places to visit too and very welcoming even tho we arrived kinda late. Would definitely book this one again when we get a chance to visit Donegal again!

Los dueños fueron muy atentos, dándonos indicaciones y consejos de lugares que ver desde antes de llegar. Muy recomendable.

It will be appreciated if you provide milk, bread, sugar and tea the basic things . The firat thing we do is make a cup of tea.

Reviewed Mar 30, 2025We loved the clear views from our BR windows of both the Curragh and Killybegs Harbour. Our beds were v comfortable, and sleeping in the countryside is relaxing indeed. The apt is v clean and nicely appointed, and we wanted for nothing. The accommodations are 10 min drive into town, and our Hostess gave us a wonderful recommendation for dinner - Anderson’s Boathouse. We enjoyed an excellent dinner of locally caught Megrim while watching the tail end of the harbour’s weekend traffic. In the morning, we drove over to Slieve Liege, a mere 25 min away, and took in the spectacular scenery.

We only wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever find ourselves in the area we will absolutely be back and recommend this place to everyone!
