Khalkedon Hotel Istanbul

The location is perfect - ferry, bus and metro stations are right nearby. The breakfast is really good and diverse too. Many thanks to a receptionist guy named Talha, he's really helpful and hospitable.

The Location was perfect, near the metro and the ferry station, so it was easy to get around this massive behemoth of the city and find a way back to where all the fun was! Breakfast on the terrace was also nice with a view of the Bosphorus.

Beware the stairs; they are quite vertical. Other than that was great value.

Very good location

A fantastic hotel. Great location to the ferry. Can walk everywhere easily. We really liked Kadikoy. Staff were super friendly and really looked after us. The breakfast was superb. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. Thank you

Las camas con sábanas y bajera que solo cubrían el filo de la cama, siendo imposible cubrirse bien o no tocar el colchón o protector. Y la ducha con manchas de suciedad adherido y restos de óxido y moho.

La ubicación del hotel es excelente. Está en la calle de las tiendas de antigüedades y a tres minutos del puerto. El restaurante está en el rooftop con las vistas preciosas. El desayuno es simple pero fresco y delicioso.

En principio, la habitación estaba limpia y cómoda.

Ночевала на пересадке. Очень удобное расположение, есть где прогуляться и вкусно поесть поблизости:) Чистый номер, отличная кровать, хороший завтрак. Утро с кофе на террасе с видом на море зарядило на весь день. Отдельно отмечу очень приятный, вежливый персонал. Ребята (в том числе) говорят по русски и стараются во всем помочь.

Из плюсов -местоположение в 200 м от метро , прямая ветка от аэропорта. В сама сердце аутентичного живого квартала. Завтрак вполне приемлемый . Персонал вежливый.

Не знаю, чем объясняется высокий рейтинг отеля на букинге. Он устал очень сильно, ремонт делали давно, и очень неряшливо. Бронировали в том числе ради террасы на крыше, которая оказалась не используемой, не соответствует фото на букинге.

Все отлично было: удобная кровать, чистый душ, горячая вода, удобное расположение, сытный завтрак, веранда, чайки…. И вежливый персонал.

Die Lage war Top! Das Personal sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Das Hotel hat eigentlich alles was man braucht, wichtig es war sauber! Danke für alles, gerne immer wieder!

Leider kein Lift, aber ist halt üblich in der Lage der alten Denkmalschutz kleinen Häuser, ohne kleine Kinder geht es perfekt!

Klimatizácia bez želaného efektu, potrebne precistiť, nebolo ju cítiť. Kľučky na dverách vrzgajú, zišlo by sa nastriekať WD40.

Реально близко к метро. Вкусный завтрак. Работа сотрудников и в ресторане, и на ресепшене на высоте, выше всяких похвал. Помещение для завтрака большое, как внутри (с видом), так и на открытой терассе. Удобный матрас. Кондиционер работал отлично. Прекрасный душ и принадлежности для мытья.

Единственное наше малюсенькое замечание - это малюсенький телевизор 📺, даже не стали пытаться разглядеть персонажей мультиков.

Petit hôtel qui doit son succès à son emplacement parfait, en plein cœur du quartier de Kadiköy, à proximité du terminus du métro (trajet d'une heure entre le terminus et l'aéroport Sabiha Gökçen), et de l'embarcadère d'où partent les ferries rejoignant les îles aux princes ou les autres rives d'Istanbul. Chambres basiques, sans charme particulier, mais bien équipées et confortables. Malgré l'animation qui règne à proximité immédiate, les chambres sont étonnamment très calmes. Petit-déjeuner buffet servi sur le rooftop de l'établissement, offrant une très belle vue sur le quartier et sur ses environs. Le personnel est serviable et sympathique, dans une ambiance décontractée. Idéal pour 1 à 2 nuits afin de visiter les quartiers de Kadiköy et d'Üsküdar, et/ou avant/après de devoir prendre un avion.

Localização boa, perto do Bósforo, cama boa, limpo, equipe simpática.

O ar condicionado as vezes faz barulho, mas só desligar e ligar novamente que o barulho para. Uma observação: não tem elevador, o que pode ser ruim para pessoas sem mobilidade. Não foi um problema para mim.

Perfect place. Perfect tarras on the top. Perfect localization! I really recommend!

The building is quite old but the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us who wanted to be right in the center but it was noisy. This wasn't a problem for us though.

Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Ganz freundliches Personal, lecker Frühstück auch auf der Terrasse und ein schönes großes, sehr gemütliches Zimmer. Die Lage ist perfekt. Man ist schnell am Hafen und der Metro. Die anatolische Seite hat uns sogar besser gefallen, da man nicht ständig zugequatscht wurde. Wir würden wieder hier einchecken.

Es ist relativ laut, nachts sind lang die Menschen draußen unterwegs. Das ist jedoch nichts, was das Hotel ändern könnte und obliegt der Lage.

Ziemlich abgewohnt, wenig Komfort, Frühstücksbuffet allenfalls solide, Zimmertüre wirkte nicht besonders sicher.

Hotel ma super lokalizację, blisko jest przystań promowa, dookoła tętni życie, sklepiki i restauracje. Pokoje są zadbane, jest czysto i przyjemnie. Śniadania są dobre, plastry miodu, ogromy wybór herbaty, pyszna kawa, omlety jajeczne dokładane na bieżąco, dużo zielonego. Widok z restauracji jak i z tarasu fantastyczny. Taras ma ogromny potencjał, szkoda że nie jest zagospodarowany. Na zdjęciu są pufy a niestety jest tylko stolik i kilka krzeseł. Polecam serdecznie!

climbing all this stairs to go to breakfast in the morning, but then it is good exercise for the start of the day and you get rewarded with a great view of Istanbul.

位置、清洁度、安静、员工，以及价格，性价比高。 非常方便搭M4去国际机场，就在生活区中心，到哪边都便利。

早餐7:30开始，对于赶上午乘机有些晚，可以提前到7:00am。当然，住宿那天餐厅员工非常nice让我于7:18左右进去吃了quick 早餐。自助早餐，和现煎omelet。

Ottimo albergo con grande rapporto qualità prezzo. Colazione buona in terrazza. Camera molto ampia e pulita. Il personale è molto amichevole. Reception h24. Ingresso luminoso su via piena di locali.

Dorazili jsme na hotel kolem 1 hodiny ráno kde nás uvítali a bez žádného problému ubytovali, postele pohodlné, voda na pokoji, velké a dobré snídaně. Hned u metra z letiště a v centru krásné čtvrti, v dosahu hospody a restaurace…pokud pojedu znovu do Istanbulu tento hotel je jasná volba! Při odjezdu nám nechali batohy na hotelu aby jsme si prošli okolí než pojedeme na letiště ☺️ děkujeme za za skvělé ubytování!

Çalışanlar güler yüzlü, yardımcıydılar. Kahvaltı çeşitli ve lezzetliydi. Yatak rahat, banyo tuvelet ihtiyaçları yeterliydi. Konum olarak merkezi ve birçok yere ulaşılabilirdi.

Treti den jsme museli urgovat uklid a doplneni toaletniho papiru. Pak asi za sva dny jeste jednou. 2x jsme vubec nedostali vodu. Byla jsem v tomto hotelu jiz potreti, ale toto jeste se mi nestalo, abych musela zadat o uklid, toaletni papir a ciste rucniky. Jednou jsem byla nucena vzit rolicku papiru z panske toalety u jidelny, protoze recepcni rekl, ze na recepci zadny papir nema 🙁

It is a very cheap hotel, but it is absolutely fine for its money. Breakfast was good, the staff was great, wifi was acceptable. Yes, rooms saw their best times, but still were okay. Bathroom of a decent size, and the rooms are as well. The best location close to the metro and ferry. Can recommend.

A little tired, no elevator

Location is exceptional. In the heart of the action, on the Asian side. Hundreds of restaurants and shops on your doorstep to wander the streets. The atmosphere was wonderful in this area. I was looking for authentic Turkey experience, culinary adventure, rather than shopping or Touristy European shopping trip, so the vibe was unmatched. Very close to ferry and metro if you want to go across to the grand bazar or mosques.

Perfect location in Kadikoy. Very close to the ferries and metro. Surrounded by cafes and bars and shops. A Turkish breakfast with plenty of choice and very good coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The bathrooms are small and dated with a sliding door into the room.

Great location away from hyper-tourist areas, rooftop breakfast with excellent cook /kitchen staff, really helpful. Front of house staff always present and helpful with questions.

Building is quite old, so the rooms have some wear and tear don't come expecting brand new. That said, it is clean and well maintained.

Неплохие завтраки на террасе. Вежливый персонал на завтраках. Близко к метро и парому. Рядом полно мест поесть , и продуктовый магазин.

Был забронирован трехместный номер. Вместо этого поселили в двухместный с дополнительной кроватью ( раскладушка). Сказали , что другая группа заняла все места, стоимость уменьшать не будут, если мы захотим отказаться- то могут вернуть нам деньги. Учитывая, что мы устали и с чемоданами - остались как есть. Да и рядом мест нигде не было. Сам отель и номер уставшие. Под окнами до 12 ночи шум толпы, а с закрытыми окнами нечем дышать.

La nostra quinta volta in questo albergo a Kadikoy la dice tutta sulla cortesia, simpatia, disponibilità ricevuti. L'attenzione al cliente è particolare. Inoltre ottima colazione in terrazza e stanza pulita. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. E non ultima, la posizione ottima vicino ai traghetti e alla metropolitana. Torneremo...

The position is in the Heart of Modà and kadikoy neighboroud, breakfast is really abundant and good. The guy at the reception Is the nicest.

Замечательный персонал отеля. Хороший завтрак на террасе. Удобная кровать. Локация: рядом всё. Обязательно при выборе этого отеля, обратите внимание, что он находится на шумной улице с барами + мечеть. Для нас это не было проблемой. Отель без лифта, придётся нести свои сумки по ступенькам, но отзывчивый персонал всегда готов помочь. Да, отель уже не новый, но цена = качество соответствует.

Es ist unser Stammhotel für Aufenthalte in Istanbul. Perfekte Lage, freundliches Personal, vollkommen ausreichendes Frühstück, wenn gewünscht auf der Terrasse, aber immer mit Blick über Istanbul. Klar gibt es komfortablere Hotels, aber keine besseren, schon gar nicht für diesen sehr fairen Preis. Dazu noch sehr hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter und der Aufenthalt ist perfekt.

Bel emplacement pour cet hôtel à Kadikoy, près de l'embarcadère des ferries, un peu à l'écart du brouhaha du quartier. Chambre parfaite pour un séjour à Istanbul, service impeccable, petit déjeuner complet et un responsable de salle au Top ! Excellent rapport qualité-prix pour Istanbul. Je recommande !

Kamers schoon , goede bedden warme douche , vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt was prima verzorgd lekker op het dakterras waar je zowel binnen als buiten te zitten.

It was a nice choice for one night. One of the cheapest options in this area. The hotel is just on the noisy street but it was not a problem – windows are good and we had a nice sleep. 5 minutes to Kadikoy metro station that was convinient to go to the SAW airport.

Rooms need to be updated. The bathroom is old though everything worked fine.

Excellent location near to everything. Metro is conveniently near so going and coming from the airport is super easy. Hotel is clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is decent and breakfast every morning on the terrace is an amazing feeling. We will definitely come back here.
