Anthemis Hotel

The location was excellent especially with the tram stop at the end of the alleyway. The view from our room and the breakfast room was beautiful. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bistro next door was really good.

The breakfast was not to our taste. A better selection of cereals for those who can’t eat salad at breakfast would have been good.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Anthemis and it never disappoints. The staff are lovely, the rooms are comfortable and the location is perfect. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others.

Die Lage war für uns perfekt. Ganz in der Nähe vieler Sehenswürdigkeiten und der Bahn. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und lecker.

Durch die zentrale Lage bleibt es nicht aus, dass man abends was von der umliegenden Gastronomie hört.

Nagyon jó helyen van a szálloda. Nagyon kedves és segítőkész személyzet. A szobák tiszták. A hotel melletti étteremben a kedvezmény is nagyon jó. Mindenki csak ajánlani tudom.

Close to all the attraction and train. Staffs are extremely nice and helpful.

They did not clean my room . They only came in to change my towers and rearrange my bed. Did not mop my floor or change the linens.

We were very pleased with the services we received from the Hotel, helpful, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and good breakfast. I would stay there again and recommend the Anthemis Hotel to everyone.

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay at the anthemis hotel, the staff were lovely and the kitchen staff including Ugur, Ozgul and Sabriye were fantastic. The location is great, a 5-10 min walk to all the nearest attractions and the restaurant next door, Massa bistro was very nice. Would recommend the hotel

Hotel in una posizione assolutamente strategia per visitare i monumenti principali al centro di Istanbul. Stanza comoda, pulita ogni giorno ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo . I ragazzi dello staff tutti gentilissimi e disponibili ad andare incontro alle richieste dei clienti. Consigliatissimo!

Super Lage, man ist schnell überall. Toller Service & sehr freundlich. Hospitality at it's best. Uğur, Özgul und Sabriye haben das Frühstück einzigartig gemacht und uns sehr verwöhnt. Der Blick auf den Bosporus war atemberaubend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Posizione eccellente a due passi (due) dalla fermata del tram T1 di Sultanahmet. Stanza non grandissima ma confortevole. Bellissima terrazza panoramica in cui fare colazione davanti alla vista mozzafiato delle moschee. Colazione a buffet, adeguata. Adiacente all'hotel c'è un ottimo ristorante della stessa gestione (il Massa Bistrot). Gli ospiti dell'hotel hanno il 20% di sconto! Spettacolare lo show con il Testi Kebap. Vedere per credere.

Excellent location, couldn't be better. The staff was very friendly, they helped us carry our bags, made reservations and everything we asked... The room was, clean and comfortable, a little bit smaller but we didn't need anything bigger. Shower was great. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was also good and the view is fantastic.

We had a great stay at the hotel! The rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the location was exceptional — close to all the main sights while still being in a calm and quiet area. The rooftop breakfast was definitely a highlight, with a beautiful view to enjoy in the morning. The reception staff were also incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

Вежливый, отзывчивый и просто замечательный персонал. Расположение в паре минут от основных достопримечательностей, вкусные завтраки, много хороших ресторанов поблизости.

Стандартному номеру требуется ремонт: уставшая сантехника в душевой, покоцанная мебель, стены и двери. Слышимость сильная, но нам это не мешало. В остальном в номере было чисто и свежо, свежее постельное бельё, приятный интерьер. На пару ночей — вполне комфортно! Если планируется остановиться дольше, лучше рассматривать категории номеров повыше и с видом.

La posizione eccellente, lo staff molto accogliente e gentile, ci hanno aiutato anche con le valigie fino al nostro piano. Bellissima vista dalla terrazza sul tetto su cui viene servita la colazione, da cui si vede anche la Moschea blu.

L'hotel è a portata d'orecchio della Moschea blu, quindi si viene svegliati dal richiamo alla preghiera del Muezzin. La colazione potrebbe essere un po' più ricca.

Very goof location, good management

I do not recommend this hotel at all. Overall experience was very disappointing. The room on the 5th floor had a beautiful view, but that was pretty much the only positive thing. The balcony was dirty and the floor was broken. There was no hot water in the evenings and at night — only lukewarm water. The air conditioner remote was broken and several buttons were missing. The towels were no longer white; they were grey, heavily washed-out, and holed. Sound insulation is extremely poor. You can hear everything from neighbouring rooms very clearly. In the morning, from about 7–8 a.m., it becomes especially noisy because everyone gets out of the elevator on the 5th floor and walks past the room to go up to the 6th floor for breakfast. The worst part was the kitchen and breakfast — the worst I have ever seen. There were mouldy sweets on the food counter. I had to insist several times that the waiter remove them so that no one else would try them and risk getting sick. I would not stay here again and strongly advise against booking this hotel.

Great location, close to the Tram line. Small hotel but very nice. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Little noisy at night but not too bad. The mosque singing kicks off at 4.30am but that is everywhere. Fortunately we had no problems going back to sleep.

Stayed in a suite top floor level 5 excellent size and view. Has a lift which is important if you have heavy luggage. Very good breakfast and view at the rooftop floor above. The manager named Dogma was very helpful with arranging our second stay at the Hotel and with transport and directions and an issue with Booking.com which he helped resolve. Restaurant next door that was aligned with the Hotel was very good with variety, quality, and value for food and drinks.

The staff members were extremely friendly and efficient. Even supplied me with video footage of the storage area when I thought I had lost my jacket in there - turned out I put it in my laptop bag! Breakfast was very good with a great view out over the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The location is as good as it gets - in a quiet alley, but within 100m of the Sultanahmet tram stop on the T1 tramline. From there you could travel to the Grand Bazaar and the Bosphorus Cruises with ease. The hotel is also within a few hundred metres from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace.

The workmanship when the room and bathroom were renovated the last time, leaves much room for improvement. Some of the power fittings were not properly fastened and the general appearance around the bathroom door (from inside the bathroom) was quite shoddy.

Номера не большие, но это практически вот всех отелях Стамбула такие размеры, особенно в Султанахмете, поэтому это не минус, а скорее мое конкретно небольшое неудобство.

Das Hotel lag genau gegenüber der Straßenbahn so das man immer sofort mobil war. Unser Zimmer war etwas klein aber für zwei Personen hat es gereicht. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich insgesamt ein nettes Hotel

Property is dead center of restaurants, Hagia Sophia, blue mosque, topokapi palace, close to grand bazar and so much more. There are tons of restaurants below the hotel and the hotel next door offers discount if you dine with them as they are part of this hotel. The staff was very kind and accommodating and I was a solo traveler! They made me feel safe, welcome and it was just a very nice environment. The view from the top floor where breakfast is hosted is next level and the food was very delicious. Stay at this place and you won’t be disappointed. Just be kind and polite and treat people with respect and how you want to be treated.

Location right in the middle of (albeit super touristy) where you want to be. Room was a decent size, good AC, comfy bed.

Think we got one of the older bathrooms - weird pressure led to a shower with a mind of its own and mothballs in the sink - breakfast options 99% Turkish.

Immaculately clean with attentive staff and great facilities. Right in the heart of all the attractions on European side of Istanbul. The rooms are fully equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. There is even an iron and board available on each floor. You get a 20% discount at the Massa restaurant underneath the hotel, which is an excellent restaurant.

Breakfast was good, rooms are very small and shower needs some repair or maintenance. People were very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent and a few blocks from the train stop and the blue mosque, Many restaurants at a walking distance.

We stayed at this hotel after our Mediterranean cruise. The hotel was within walking distance to Haifa Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Tge Grand Bizarre. There are several restaurants just steps away. The site has a bountiful breakfast on the rooftop terrace, with spectacular views. The staff was incredibly helpful. They arranged a taxi to the airport and even gave us sandwiches as we had an early departure before breakfast was served.

Fantastische ligging. Vlakbij de meeste bezienswaardigheden en de tramhalte. Hotel ligt in het straatje achter de tramhalte.

Kamer die wij hadden was erg klein met ook een erg kleine badkamer met toilet. Voor stedenbezoek (als je niet zoveel bagage mee hebt) prima. Voor ons was het een tussenstop en hadden 2 flinke reistassen mee.

The location adjacent so many main attractions and trams was amazing. The hotel is in a great liitle walking street with bars, restaurants and general stores. Has a rooftop breakfast room too with view over mosques and Bosphorus.

The location is so so good. The hotel workers are so kind and helpful. The breakfast is hight quality and the breakfast at the rooftop is incredible ,the view is fantastic to the mosques and the water. 5*

Sehr freundliches, bemühtes Personal und ordentliche Zimmer (Deluxe Suite) direkt im Stadtzentrum. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Betten waren gut, die Klima funktionierte und reichlich TV-Sender vorhanden, wenn man es denn braucht (aber keine Deutschen). Wir fanden die Auswahl beim Frühstück recht ordentlich und auch nett zubereitet, auch wenn nicht alles unseren Geschmack traf. Mitten im Zentrum bedeutet nicht immer eine absolut ruhige Nacht, aber für so viel Trubel drumherum empfanden das als nicht störend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Badezimmer roch übel nach Abfluss. Man kümmerte sich zwar umgehend, konnte aber keine Abhilfe schaffen. Nicht akzeptabel ist allerdings, dass dieser Zustand laut vorangegangenen Bewertungen auch schon bestand - hier sollte nachgebessert werden!

L'emplacement est absolument parfait pour visiter les principaux monuments. Tous sont accessibles à pied, et la station de tram juste à côté dessert les autres quartiers en quelques minutes. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable, plein de bons conseils et prêt à vous aider. Le petit déjeuner est varié, simple mais de qualité, et en quantité. La vue sur la ville est très agréable au matin ! La literie est confortable également.

La rue adjacente est assez bruyante, à cause des restaurants voisins. Si vous êtes sensibles au bruit, cela sera gênant.
