Clean and spacious room. Ac and water pressure/hot water was working well. Quite close to the beach and shop.

In a room for 2 pax there is only 1 glass, 1 cup and that's it. Not even a plate or anything we could eat on during the storm. Why not provide at least 1 for each guest? The toilet seat was broken by previous guests but looked like it was like that for some time. During the storm it was very noisy because the room was not well isolated.

Spacious room, good location.

Our experience with this hotel took an unexpected and deeply disappointing turn after we had already checked out. During our stay, everything was fine apart from the poor ventilation in the room, which made it uncomfortably stuffy. However, it was only after we shared this feedback with the owner that things took a shocking turn. Instead of handling our comments professionally, the owner’s attitude changed completely. He went from being seemingly polite to outright rude, bombarding us with offensive messages on WhatsApp. His behavior was aggressive, inappropriate, and completely uncalled for. Constructive feedback should be met with professionalism, not insults. We’ve traveled extensively and have never encountered such hostility from a hotel owner. No guest should have to deal with this level of unprofessionalism. If something goes wrong, you want to know you’re dealing with a respectful and reasonable host—unfortunately, that is not the case here. For this reason alone, we strongly advise against staying at this hotel. There are plenty of other wonderful accommodations in Sri Lanka where you’ll be treated with the respect every guest deserves. Avoid this place unless you want to risk dealing with an owner who cannot handle even the slightest criticism.

Thiliz will look after your every needs, a very nice bloke, always smiling. Wanted to stay longer. Has a kettle in the room and better to get the rooms with air conditioning if you can

I really enjoyed my stay at Thiliz Place in Mirissa. I only wish I had stayed here longer. The room is spacious, with a big bed and a lovely sitting area. The place is super central, close to everything you need in Mirissa, yet tucked away at the end of a small alley, so very quiet! And it's great value for money!

After ten days travelling through the island having cold shower, it was a pleasure to have a hot shower at Thiliz Place! Good location. The room is big with table chairs and kettle. Very good shower!

I think it’s time for replace the mattress.

Of course, it`s not a five-star resort but the place is nice for it`s price. It`s spacious and clean. Hot water in the shower with good preasure, aircondition works good. The host is absolutely friendly and supportive, he was always in touch, he allowed early check-in and tried the best to prepare the room before our arrival, also he helped us with our heavy luggage. Location is close to the center in a small street, surronded by tropical trees so it`s very quiet. Monkeys come every morning and don`t refuse from bananas.

Excellent host – very kind and helpful. The apartment was clean, with a fully functioning air conditioning system. The location was perfect. The host arranged a scooter for us to get around and was always ready to help organize any activities. The price-to-value ratio is fantastic. Highly recommend!

The place is clean, the shower was amazing, the new air conditioning worked so well and the owner kept up regular communication with us keeping our stay with everything we needed.

If I have to pick something the bed frame was noisy when you move in your sleep.

This is by far the most amazing accommodation for me on Sri Lanka! Very spacious and clean room. The shower in the bathroom was a top tier! The owner Thili, was so accommodating. He always make sure that everything is fine. Will definitely come back here again!

Thili is a great host!! He helped us with everything we needed, from facilities for the room to tours and spots to eat in Mirissa. The room was clean, comfortable and the location was close to supermarkets, the bus stop and the beach. The shower was great and the room was spacious. Again thanks a lot to the host for this warm welcome.

The room can get a bit warm. There is a fan but its still a bit warm. The location is not exactly as provided on Booking but the host picked us up and explained that the location cannot be pinpointed in google.

The rooms are spacious and clean. It's a very conviniently located accommodation, close to the main road but at the same time very quiet. My bed was huge and really comfortable. There are monkeys around which makes you feel like your in a jungle😊 lovely experience! The owner is very kind and friendly and will help if you need anything. Wifi works well.

I stayed here nearly 2 months and everything was great! I really loved this place.
