Reviewed May 9, 2024Hostess and her husband were so kind and helpful, they made sure that we have the best stay, they went beyond what anyone would expect staying at a booking. They picked us up because we stepped out from the bus at the wrong place, gave us a welcome drinks, helped us with laundry and dropped us at the bus stop and made sure we take the right bus! We got excellent SriLanka breakfast with loads of foods and fruits which tasted amazing! If you are looking for a place where to stay before going on a safari, look no further, this place rocks! They will even help you book the safari! Would recommend to a friend!!!

Sandhya, the host, made me feel incredibly welcome, and her hospitality added a personal touch to the experience. Plus, the food was simply amazing. The highlight was undoubtedly the thrilling safari in Udawalawe National Park, guided by knowledgeable experts. Sandya, the owner, provided exceptional hospitality, ensuring our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. Her attentiveness made our visit truly memorable. The food, consisting of authentic Sri Lankan rice and curry for dinner and traditional Sri Lankan dishes for breakfast, was delicious and flavorful, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of the region. Overall, our stay at Udawalawe Wild Horizon Hotel was a perfect combination of adventure, relaxation, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for those seeking an unforgettable experience in Sri Lanka's wilderness.
