Villa Silana

This villa was a quiet bit of paradise just a 7 min tricycle ride from downtown Moalboal. The rooms were large and comfortable. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Don the villa concierge was perfect and helpful. He helped us arrange all our excursions and answered all our questions. He even got medicine for my husband when he was not feeling well. Keep in mind this place is a 3-4 hour drive from the airport. But you will be closer to the amazing island adventures of swimming with the whale sharks, swimming with the sardines and the unforgettable canyoneering in Kawasan Falls. Highly recommend 100%!!

The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is to have a flat sheet on the beds, beneath the coverlet/blanket. So that you are sleeping under the sheet not only the coverlet. Although the white fitted sheets, and white pillow cases are replaced with each guest- Typically coverlets and pillow shams are not. And I could smell the perfume of the previous guest on the decorative pillow sham and coverlet, so I think they were not as fresh. (I am very particular). Other than that we loved the villa.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property was great, but the highlight was the exceptional hospitality. Don was an amazing host—incredibly helpful, highly responsive, and attentive to all our needs. He went above and beyond by arranging our airport transfers and assisting us throughout our entire stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-suited for our needs. It had a relaxing atmosphere that made our trip very enjoyable. The host was very accommodating and responsive, which made everything smooth and easy from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated the hospitality and attention to our needs. Overall, it was a great experience in a convenient location, and we would happily recommend this place to others looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

This place looks exactly like the picture. Our host was there for our arrival to explain the house, I was specific about having the house sprayed with pesticides since our previous place was infested with them. But our host delivered, not one bite. This how was beautiful, and the kids were too excited that they jumped in the pool and it was warm. This place had a hot tub as well, which was relaxing after a long day of activities. So much to do in this villa.

It was kind of hard to find, it was in a long narrow driveway. If I hadn’t contacted the host I don’t think we would’ve ever found it.

Our stay in Villa Silana was absolutely incredible!! The location and the facilities met our expectations and more and we couldn't be happier to have stayed in this beautiful property. It felt like we were transported to paradise, the photos online don't do it justice!! Don and the team we're absolutely incredible and made sure our stay was smooth and completely taken cared of. They we're fast and responsive with any questions we had before, during and after our stay. Their care and hospitality made the stay 110% times better. I cannot recommend this place enough and can't wait to rebook with them in the future!!

Our stay was difficult to fault- the villa was absolutely beautiful and had everything we could possibly need for a relaxing, comfortable and luxurious stay for myself and my seven friends. The location was great, sufficiently private yet not too far from the centre of Moalboal via tuktuk. Our host, Don, was also the greatest pleasure to deal with! He was incredibly helpful and accommodating, responsive to all messages and any issues we raised and worked to ensure we had the most wonderful and stress-free stay. We didn't want to leave!

Everything was wonderful! The water pressure in the room showers was slightly low, however the outdoor shower made for a comfortable alternative.

As you walk through the door of the big wooden gate it's like entering and enchanted garden. We arrived late so it was dark but all the garden lights and house lights were on which looked stunning. During our 3 day stay it was like an oasis in amongst the dust and chaos of the Moalboal streets. Don met us despite our late arrival and welcomed us to the Villa. On the 2nd day he brought a dish of home made noodles and spring rolls- enough for the 5 of us. I would very much recommend this property as it was the perfect end to an extremely packed 3 weeks of activities and moving from one place to another.

Don is very friendly and responsive to all of our questions and requests. On our first day of arrival, the journey from the airport to the villa was delayed but he stayed the whole day to wait for our group and was still in great spirits when we arrived. The place is big and spacious as well, perfect for a large group of 6-8 people.

We absolutely loved our stay at the villa! The swimming pool and jacuzzi were the highlights – clean, relaxing, and just what we needed. The villa itself was even more beautiful than the pictures, which truly impressed us. It was spacious, well-decorated, and had a peaceful vibe throughout. A big shoutout to Don, he was incredibly friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly. He answered all our questions and made us feel very welcome. Overall, a fantastic experience. We would definitely love to come back!

We loved our stay at Villa Silana...truly a slice of paradise. Don't be fooled by the surroundings, the pictures don't really do three place justice. Modern, spacious and well designed, it was the perfect respite after a day of adventuring or from the crowds in Moalboal. Don, our host, was super helpful, friendly, and gracious. Very responsive to our needs and even coordinated laundry service for us. We wish we had stayed longer to fully enjoy the property.

Location is super convenient, but not walkable from town. You will need either a driver or rent scooters. The living space itself is huge, but there are only 2 BR's. Good for extended families that are ok with sharing, but not so much for multiple couples.

The villa is truly amazing! Really made the long drive from Cebu airport worth it when we arrived! We were a party of four & there was so much space! Everything was so clean & modern. There were loads of hang out areas around the villa & in the garden. The host was really helpful & arranged our transport for us from the airport & the cost was cheaper than most online vendors. Also helped us organise trikes when we needed them & with booking our Canyoneering trip (which is a must) thank you! The villa comes equipped with everything you need & has loads of nice touches, games, coffee maker, menus for local restaurants, water cooler, electric toilet (felt like I was in Japan!). I would advise to stop off at a local supermarket just to stock up on any essentials, but we mainly ate out everyday, so just stocked the fridge up with drinks & snacks. The villa is a trike ride away from the main tourist area, but it’s so so cheap to get there & back. We swapped numbers with one of guys who operated the trikes & he was always on hand when we needed to get around & just let us pay at the end of the day.

The villa was beautifully kept and full of character while being modern.

We ran out of water briefly but Don was on hand pretty quickly to get it sorted

Property is gorgeous, luxurious and a well-thought out functional oasis. The host was present upon arrival and toured the property and pointed out the many amenities- including pick-up and delivery of food! Perfect for entertaining with or without kids. Will try to stay only here anytime we’re back in the area.

Only thing that could make this place better is a water view or closer proximity to town, but it’s definitely close enough to be convenient

This was an amazing stay with friends to celebrate a birthday. We hardly left the place as it had everything we wanted and needed.

It was a little tricky to find but the Villa owners said they have updated it in Google Maps now as well.

The stay in Villa Silana was amazing, its a hidden paradise great for our family and friends to visit. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements, lovely clean Pool and Jacuzzi and great Tropical atmosphere

The place is absolutely gorgeous. As you come in through the large front gates, it’s like your own private secret paradise. Really loved the large garden area, with jacuzzi. Rooms and beds are so comfortable. The place is absolutely stunning at night once lit up. A really fun and peaceful place to stay with friends and family.

Very little. The place itself is amazing. If you have young kids though, you might need to watch them as not very baby proof.

A brand new beautiful villa with so many thoughtful extra touches that made our stay perfect. It has a nice pool which is not too deep so Filipinos also enjoy to swim in it, a jacuzzi, heated toilet seats with remote operated bidets. There are several seating areas so your family can spread out, and there's space in the garden to play sports like volley ball or corn hole (which the property provided). The beds are comfortable and luxurious and the ACs are perfectly cold. I can't recommend this place enough, we'll be back for sure!

I didn't like leaving, my kids wanted to live here forever.
