Reviewed Jun 4, 2026The location is excellent and the view is wonderful. Just a terrific place to stay. The price was also not ridiculous (which is unusual for great locations in Italy).
Make it a bit clearer that the key is obtained at a different address in the street above the apartment. The apartment itself was tricky to find as it’s entered from the small street at the back. For anyone else, it’s right above “Mama Mia” restaurant. It’s the apartment with the massive balcony. You can’t go wrong now!

Reviewed Mar 22, 2026We had a lovely stay. The apartment is very conveniently located 3' walk from the train station. The best part is the lake view and the big balcony. Everything was very clean. Good internet connection. We enjoyed our stay.
We only wished there were a couple of towels in the kitchen for the dishes

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Top Lage, wunderschöner Balkon, gute Küchenausrüstung, grosszügige Wohnung, sehr zentral gelegen und trotzdem recht ruhig.
Das Auffinden des Schlüsselkastens war nicht einfach. Die Gastgeberin hat uns rasch geholfen per Telefon und durch Senden von Bildern, aber das hätten wir lieber vorgängig gehabt (wir hatten nur unvollständige Bilder erhalten).

Parkplatz muss durch "Schnitzeljagd" mit Bildern und Beschreibung gefunden werden, befindet sich nicht direkt bei der Wohnung. Der Lärm im Haus war am Abend extrem laut bis weit in die Nacht hinein, alles sehr ringhörig Stuhl auf dem Balkon fiel fast auseinander

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025The apartment has everything you need, it’s modern and perfectly clean. The best part is the view and the spacious balcony. The location is excellent with many delicious restaurants and the entire lakefront at your doorstep. Only a 10 minute walk to the supermarket.

Reviewed Oct 21, 2025Sehr sauber, sehr großzügige Terrasse und Wohnzimmer, bequemes Bett. Sehr zentral gelegen, hervorragendes Restaurant Mamma Mia unterhalb. Friedliche Promenade und dahinter der See.
Zu wenig Küchentücher, keine Abfallbehälter in den Nasszellen. Geschirrspüler hat nicht funktioniert.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2025Die Lage und die Wohnung war sehr schön. Besonders die grösse der Terrasse. Die Küche, das Bad alles ok und sehr sauber.
Die Einrichtung Wohnbereich links, ein Durcheinander!!!! Zwei Betten in einer Ecke umgeben von zwei unterschiedlichen Sofas. (Siehe Foto unten) Ein Sofateil noch auf der Terrasse dessen Zustand zu wünschen lässt. Schade, es entspricht nicht der restlichen Einrichtung und der Lage dieser Wohnung. Ein gemütliches ausziehbares Sofa, ein Salontisch dazu, noch ein kleines Sideboard würde diese Wohnung zu einem exklusiven Aufenthalt machen.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2025Beste Lage am See und mit wunderbarem Blick von der aussergewöhnlichen grossen Terasse, sowie direkt neben dem Bahnhof, den man nicht hört da auf der Rückseite des Gebäudes. Die Strasse vor den Haus hat kaum Verkehr und ist eine 30 Zone mit vorallem Velofahrern. Zudem hat es viele Restaurants und ist nahe der Bushaltestelle der Hauptlinien. Sehr gute Ausstattung, sowohl bzgl. Betten wie auch der Küche.
Fehlende Dokumentation der Einrichtungen im Apartment und wie sie zu bedienen sind und Infos zu Abfall und Recycling. Die Kontaktperson hat allerdings jeweils sehr rasch und kompetent per Whatsapp reagiert.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2025Der Anfang hat mit einer Schnitzeljagd nach dem Schlüssel und den Parkplatz begonnen, aber nicht schlimm - hatten Spass dabei. Die Wohnung war grösser als wir dachten mit schöne und grosse Terrasse - super zentral gelegen und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Hat ein WC und ein Dusch/WC, was wir sehr froh darüber waren. Wir kommen bestimmt sehr gerne wieder!!!
nur winzige Kleinigkeit: in den WCs hat Abfalleimer gefehlt

Crossing the road (there is almost no traffic in winter, but in summer it will probably be more active) you get directly to the Muralto promenade. Within walking distance (no more than 5 minutes) are: - city pier; - Locarno railway station; - grocery store (until 10 p.m.); Large terrace offers a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding mountains.

Reviewed Dec 1, 2024Superb location overlooking Lake Maggiore. Only a few minutes from the station, the ferry embarkation point, and a short walk to the old town. The apartment had a lovely big balcony overlooking the lake. The owner gave clear instructions with photos on finding our way to the apartment which were very helpful.
