Reviewed Sep 7, 2026A lovely hotel in a great location. Our room was very generous in size and we enjoyed the daily breakfast. Sadly, it was a little too hot to make the most of the on-site onsens, but they were lovely. I will definitely come back in cooler weather. The location was excellent and we were able to walk to the main street for dinner each night as well as the station to do the Hakone sightseeing loop.

Reviewed May 28, 2026The cheerful efficient staff, clean, bright spacious room, restaurant, free breakfast on my second day, public indoor and open-air baths, central location less than Ikm to Hakoneyugato station, and shuttle service available in the morning (choice of 9.30, 10.15 or 11.00am). The hotel staff also confirmed that I was able to book a free pass tour, covering train to Gora, cable car, free rope to Togendai, boat cruise to Hakonemachi or Motohakone-to, bus back to Hakoneyugota and finally local train the following day to Odawara station. The woman at Information Centre Hakoneyugato had wrongly informed me that the free pass giving the boat cruise was not available. She said the only pass that I could buy was a Owakudan ticket, and that there was no ticket desk at the station meaning I would have to use a vending machine. Thanks to the hotel staff I was able to book a 2 day free pass from the ticket centre in the station.

Reviewed May 24, 2026Отель расположен в красивом месте, в ущелье между двух живописных гор. Принимая теплую ванну на крыше отеля можно одновременно любоваться природой. Отель расположен в шаговой доступности от жд станции, идти минут 15. Автобусы туда не ходят, можно заказать такси. Комната была хорошего размера, очень уютная, на кроватях лежали кимоно, 2- а вида обуви, ходить дома и на улице. В номере был чайник, правда куллера с водой нет, стояла только одна бутылка воды 0,5. В номере. Микроволновка есть на этаже, на ресенпшен можно налить горячей воды или кофе (растворимый). Завтрак я не брала, не могу оценить. Была приятно удивлена, что мой багаж занесли прямо в номер, который располагался на верхнем этаже, без лифта. Не знаю это мне повезло или всем так делают
Нет лифта, ступени высокие, даже спустить багаж вниз было не легко

Mi è parso che il personale non fosse particolarmente gentile. Anche quando abbiamo chiesto per lasciare i bagagli il giorno dopo (prima della partenza), non hanno fatto salti di gioia. Abbiamo quindi optato per un locker

Reviewed May 18, 2026The location was great - quiet, but close (walking distance) to town and the station. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we got upgraded to a bigger room, which was fantastic. The outside onsen was amazing.
There's no lift to the upper floors, but thankfully we had light suitcases.

Reviewed May 4, 2026The indoor onsen is clean and spacious. The room is big, decorated in a nice western Japanese style. All amenities are provided. It is an easy 10 minute walk from train station. You get a nice view of the creek along the walk.
The shuttle bus to station should start at 8 am as people want to start explore area early. The outdoor onsen need to switch time between man and woman.

1)there is no elevator trust me after a long day of walking it becomes hard to climb to 4th floor with luggage . 2)there is no public transportation to this place , it requires you to walk for some time ,hire a cab if u can . To be fair the hotel staff did arrange a shuttle for me to yumoto hakone station but it was only one time after checkout .

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026Le lieu est très agréable et traditionnelle, la chambre est très spacieuse, le petit déjeuner est très bon. Le onsen pour femme comme pour homme est très bien.
Le seul petit bémol c’est d’être arrivé pour le petit déjeuner du matin un peu avant l’heure pour que dès l’ouverture on puisse le prendre et partir tôt en excursion. Rentrés les premiers on a été servi en dernier 25 minutes plus tard…

Reviewed Apr 11, 2026The main woman at reception was exceptional checking us in, storing our luggage & ensuring we got a taxi to the train station on time even when uber was extremely busy. Really nice onsen at the hotel.
The shower head in our room was poor & we couldn’t figure out the hot water situation in the en-suite. This wasn’t a main issue for us as we were only staying one night, any longer and it would have been a pain point.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026Super Lage, nah genug am Bahnhof und Bushaltestellen, gleichzeitig ruhig und direkt am Fluss gelegen. Das war Personal sehr freundlich. Wir wurden kostenlos zum Doppelzimmer mit Tatami-Bereich upgraded, was ich nur empfehlen kann, um wirklich den vollen japanischen Flair zu genießen. Mit den hotel-eigenen Yukata und Sandalen zum Onsen, danach am warmen Kotatsu im Zimmer entspannen - sagenhaft!
Das Bad im Zimmer war etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber fällt nicht stark ins Gewicht, da wir uns sowieso immer im Onsen gewaschen haben.

Matelas un peu dur malheureusement Petit déjeuner bon mais dommage de ne pas pouvoir choisir entre plusieurs aliments plutôt qu'un plat unique.

•客室がある建物にはエレベーターが無いため、高齢の方や脚の不自由な方は移動が大変かもしれない •建物自体が古いこともあってか、客室内の壁紙に染みなどが見受けられた

Tienen varios edificios por lo que no se si en todos es igual, pero en nuestro caso la habitación mucho peor de lo que se veía en las fotos, sin ascensor. Y el Onsen para el caso de las mujeres tiene un horario muy limitado

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026房间很宽敞，整洁干净，附带的小温泉也很舒服😌房间内设施齐全，温泉有两个，顶层和屋内的，屋内的洗浴用品很好用。附近的环境很优美，楼下就有小咖啡馆，早起的客人不会饿着。前台会说中文，提供的寄存服务也很贴心。
从车站走过来一直上坡，住四楼没有电梯，爬得比较累，能泡温泉放松算是弥补了这一点。

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026酒店很好找，温泉场入口下来往山里走个600m就到了，酒店很不错，听着溪水声很舒服。服务真的太nice，有中文服务，温泉时间如何泡澡等都会仔细的和客人说一遍，温泉有2个，一个室内一个室外，非常棒！早餐都是配好的一人一份，很好吃，很饱！定的家庭间房间很大，榻榻米睡得也舒服。
周围吃的饭店不多，需要走出山，也正常，毕竟温泉基本都在山上，所以酒店依山而建。
