Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Veel te duur voor wat je krijgt. Zelfs in het naseizoen met korting. Er zouden 8 personen in moeten passen het was met twee al vol. Laken pakket was ook exclusief. Uitzicht is een oase van stacaravans. Moet je leuk vinden.

The receptionist was very arrogant and unwilling to help. Because of the way that she handled the situation, we were forced to purchase bed linen even though bed linen was already provided in the room. This resulted in an unnecessary additional charge and made the overall experience at reception very frustrating.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026La cabaña tenía muy buenas vistas y estaba todo muy limpio, también los baños a pesar de ser compartidos.
La cocina un poco pequeña y al solo haber dos duchas en el mismo espacio que los retretes, si había dos personas duchandose no se podía ir al baño. Lo de que las duchas vayan solo con monedas de 10kr también está un poco obsoleto y es dificil conseguir tantas monedas, sobre todo para los extranjeros que pagamos todo con tarjeta y casi no llevamos efectivo.

Se disponía de servicios de cocina y baño en instalación anexa La terraza permitía disfrutar de comidas o cenas con tranquilidad, fuera de la cabaña
El espacio dentro de la cabaña era muy justo para 4 personas que lleven equipaje, pero ya era algo esperable según comentarios del alojamiento

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026The location on the cabins was staring write at a Fjord. I think the profile under sells this place. It was 100% worth it to go to Aurland and away from Flam you really feel as if you are experiencing the best of Norway.
Obviously not having a bathroom if your room is tough and sometimes you had a wait for the communal shower / toilets but for a couple of nights you can deal with it.

La cocina con lo indispensable dentro del bungalow, incluso estufa y ventilador. Que quieres la cocina más completa, se paga. Que quieres una Thermomix ... Llévatela 😂 precio-calidad de 10.
Es exactamente lo que contraté. Un bungalow con baño compartido y cocina basica. Si eres más sibarita, vete a un hotel 10 estrellas con spa y un casino en tu dormitorio.

Keine Küchenhandtücher um den Abwasch draußen in der Spüle abzutrocknen. Die Kombination Dusche und WC in einem Raum zum Abschließen war ungünstig

Common areas are in not good shape. Bathrooms and kitchen are quite outdated and just look not well kept (bathroom locks are broken, several appliances are broken and in a dangerous state in the kitchen including electrical failures, toilets may or may not work depending on time of day, etc.). 3 shared bathrooms/showers in total for about 20+ cabins is really not enough. From the moment of check-in, staff is unfriendly to the point of being rude and just doesn't care: they provide a phone number and never pick up, so you are basically on your own in case of any issues. Keep in mind that if you have any issues at all after their office hours, nobody will be able to help, and they will just tell you that someone will be there by 10 AM the next morning. It is important to notice that the cabins have a SEVERE SPIDER INFESTATION, so as soon as you turn off the lights to go to sleep you will have dozens of spiders crawling over you. This made it impossible to sleep over night. Every piece of clothing that enters the cabin will get spiders in them, so when you get dressed spiders will crawl over you yet again. Several days after we left this place we are still finding spiders in our luggage that got there during our stay. We will surely never return, and recommend anyone thinking about renting a cabin here to really think twice.

I saw sooo many negative reviews, that I was looking forward to seeing for myself what it was really like. Yes, it could have been cleaner. The rug outside the cabin was filthy. The electric water kettle looked old and rusted inside. Little things, could have been improved but I would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026De staf (Zuzana) was fantastisch. Zij had alles goed onder controle. De locatie was echt fantastisch, en wij hadden een geweldig uitzicht over de Fjord. En Aurland was op loopafstand (ongeveer 15minuten) waar wij naar Marianna Bakery gingen voor een heerlijk ontbijt. En vandaaruit maakten wij ook weer trips, bijv. naar het spectaculaire "viewpoint-Stegastein". Ook namen wij van hieruit vervoer naar Flam om de fantastische cruise over de Sognefljord te nemen.
Het onderhoud viel tegen, en ook de hygiëne van de badkamer sectie viel tegen. Er waren 2 badkamers (Incl.toilet) voor de mannen en ook zo voor de vrouwen (wat gewoon te weinig was-moesten meestal wachten) waar uiteraard intensief gebruik van werd gemaakt. Dus het kon goed zijn dat met name de douches (10kronen voor 5 min...mmm) wat schoner konden. En er moest voor alle dingen, lakens, handdoeken, douches, nog eens extra worden betaald.

Wenn geputzt wird, ist über eine Stunde keine Toilette verfügbar. Auch wenn Gäste duschen, ist die Anzahl der verfügbaren Toiletten sehr knapp.

Toalett huset er gått ut på dato med tanke på hvor mange som bruker dette. Ofte køer for å gå på do, pusse tenner osv. Shuttlebuss sjåføren burde ikke få lov til å kjøre bil. Kjører for fort, for nærme biler foran. Neste gang tar vi lokalbussen.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026La posizione della struttura è stupenda. I cottage si affacciano direttamente sul fiordo e sono vicini al paesino di Aurland, che è davvero carino. È molto comodo poter lasciare l’auto vicino al cottage.
Il cottage è davvero spartano e datato. C’erano quattro letti a castello, un tavolo, poche stoviglie e una piastra elettrica piuttosto vecchia. La camera era pulita. Il riscaldamento non funzionava: abbiamo provato ad accendere la stufetta, ma non funzionava. Siamo stati fortunati che il meteo non fosse particolarmente freddo. Le prese elettriche hanno funzionato solo per parte del tempo e, nonostante avessi utilizzato la stessa presa in precedenza per cucinare, la mattina ho trovato il telefono completamente scarico. I bagni comuni sono davvero molto spartani, quasi come quelli di un carcere. La doccia è a pagamento: costa 10 NOK ogni 5 minuti e, quando l’ho utilizzata, era piena di capelli lasciati dalle persone che l’avevano usata in precedenza. Capiamo che si tratti di un campeggio, ma per 230 euro a notte mi sarei aspettata una struttura decisamente più rinnovata e una pulizia molto più frequente degli spazi comuni. Anche l’utilizzo della cucina era a pagamento. Abbiamo quindi deciso di utilizzare solamente le piastre disponibili in camera, ma, considerando che nelle camere non c’è acqua corrente, mi sarei aspettata che gli spazi comuni fossero tenuti molto meglio e fossero più curati e accoglienti. Se non fosse per la location pazzesca e per la vista sarebbe stato davvero un brutto soggiorno.

La cocina es un desastre. No funciona la mitad de las cosas y no hay sitio para tanta gente. Los baños viejos y al final del día sucios. Cabañas muy pequeñas. Saltaron los plomos de la nuestra y fuera de hora nadie coge el teléfono. Por email me ofrecieron moverme a otra cabaña, pero era ya tarde. Por la tarde calor, por la mañana frío. Estancia para olvidar.

GBP 185 is way to expensive for a basic bunk beds cabin, with no service. There are 2 female shared bathrooms for all the cabins, you have to pay extra for a towel or use of the shower and you are expected to do your bed and remove your bed sheets and bring them to the laundry. At that price, this is not for me.

De douches en keuken waren niet echt proper. De stoelbedden staan tegen elkaar waardoor lange mensen met hun voeten tegen elkaar liggen. In de chalet ontbrak er bestek.

Wat een oude reut. Alles in onze keuken was ook vies. Hele rare regels over het gebruik van de gemeenschappelijke keuken, maar met zo slechte spullen heb je de neiging wel. Maar 2 dames wcs open voor iedereen en die bevinden zich allebei in een douche waardoor je heel lang moet wachten voor je kan plassen echt heel ontoereikend. Lekke waterfles. Eigenlijk slechtste huisje waar we deze vakantie zijn geweest voor de hoogste prijs.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026The view is great. Sitting in front of our house Looking over the fjord and seeing the cars passing by to visit Stegastein was brilliant.
The little house itself is clean, but without a sole. The bunkbeds are fine, and the cooking facility is sufficient. However, the feeling I got entering the house was loneliness and desperation. No decoration or any attempt has been made to make the cabin cosy. Also the cutlery was not belonging together and not suitable for 4. Luckily we could sit outside all the time and enjoy the view.
