The staff were so kind and friendly. The location was great, close the beach but not on the main road. The room was clean and comfortable!

Comfortable rooms with excellent hosts that went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The breakfast was also incredible.

Wonderful place to stay! We were very happy with our experience. Everything was clean, convenient, and comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. 10 min to the beach. Thank you for your warm hospitality!

Everything was perfect. We are warmly welcomed with a fresh juice. The owner is here in case we need anything. He can arrange tours. And the breakfast was amazing. It was great.

Dear Sir, I'm a hotel manager, Don't be angry with me. Unfortunately, a previous night's guest misplaces the room key. We keep that room with only one key. So now I can't arrange a room for you. still not clean, also the room. I don't know what time to make a new key. Really, so sorry. Please check another good hotel. Today very busy day. This is such a fantastic hotel. Great location, close to the beach but also nice and quiet. A great value for the money. Nice and clean, A/C worked well, everything was perfect. Be aware that Mirissa is in a remote area of Sri Lanka, so if there are occasional issues like a 5-minute power outage, or slow Wi-Fi, it’s most likely not the fault of the hotel. When traveling, remember to “be where you are” and just roll with it. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Everything was perfect. Comfortable, very clean, with air conditioning and hot water. The family who runs the hotel is lovely and always happy to help. Great homemade, freshly prepared breakfast.

Nice place nearby the main beach. The host was extremely friendly accommodated what is needed for us. Wished we stayed more than 1 night, breakfast spread was amazing catered individually for every guest.

Only thing is the water was clogging in my room. But it wasn’t a big deal.

Владелец организовал трансфер, был готов помогать по любым вопросам. Отель в 400м от пляжа, неподалёку есть местные кафе, туристическая улица с магазинами. В отеле было тихо, по утрам хорошие завтраки.

Местными полотенцами пользоваться не смогли - от них пахло и на теле оставались катышки от полотенца. Кондиционер работал в двух режимах - замёрзни или сгори))

The location was ideal, 5 min walk to the beach. Super close to restaurants and main road. Tucked away so that it isn’t noisy What I liked most was the hospitality by the owners and their 2 girls- they are all a very welcoming, friendly and kind family. This is a great place to stay if you’re a female solo traveller looking for somewhere to stay which feels safe and reasonable in money.

Banyoda ilk gün su problemi vardı ama söyler söylemez sorunu çözdüler.

Oda yeterli, motor kiralama yaptık gayet iyi fiyat ve iyi motor verildi. Konumu merkezi , denizi güzel yardımsever işletmeci hava alanına araç kiralama hizmeti de var.

Nous avons été super bien accueilli par le gérant qui nous a même surclassé car période creuse. La chambre était immense et le lit super confortable. Les sanitaires spacieux. Hygiène parfaite et surtout le personnel est adorable et très à l’écoute On recommande

Pas de petit déjeuner mais il y’a de très bonnes adresses juste à côté.

Host are very helpful for everything including our travelling, breakfast was amazing and they prepared the meal what we preferred.

The water pressure was very low to have a face wash, and the staff is asking to turn off the A/C when we go out and when we get into the room it was very hot.

This was our secound stay at Awon Mirissa. The host and the staff was fantastic and has grate attitudes. Spotless and well cleaned place. Beds were very comfortable.Most importantly the place is very close to the beach and nearby attractions.I had an absolute wonderful experience this time as well. I would definitely come back to Awon Mirissa on my next trip to down south.

Really beautiful hotel and quiet place.comfortable bed and balcony room.we are watching TV. Fast Internet,we are working with no issues. Delicious breakfast and fruit plates are really tasty.Room boys are always in a happy mood and help us . We will definitely be again Awon .

Pashindu was super helpful. We let us stay at night playing card, adapted to our schedule and helped us staying a night longer. Breakfast is different every day which is also good

So happy to stay at the Awon hotel. Nice staff, nice food, comfy bed with balcony room.hot shower.garden and parking have in hotel . night time very beautiful lights have front view. The location was fairly good.close to the restaurant, beach and everything. We had a huge breakfast, very tasty,and a big fruit pleat we ate. The rooms are perfect and comfy bed. Nice balcony room. All are new modern systems.key card is power On. The bathroom inside has a beautiful small tree.so beautiful. Finally we really enjoyed it. Definitely come again our future.

The staff was really nice and helpful

The photos are over exaggerated but in reality the oyo is very low in quality. Rooms were shabby, not very clean or nice smelling. There is a pre fixed menu at breakfast, no options. Small things like ketchup were not available, and they don’t even provide water bottle per day.

We had a fantastic stay at Awon Mirissa Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The owner was incredibly kind and went out of his way to help us, even arranging a taxi for our next trip to Ella. The two hotel workers were super friendly and always ready to assist us with any information we needed, whether it was recommendations for local dining or shopping spots. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The WiFi worked great throughout our stay, and they even provided us with extra towels for the beach, which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh fruit smoothies – a perfect way to start the day! Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we would highly recommend Awon Mirissa Hotel to anyone visiting the area. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

One of the best places I've stayed in Sri Lanka. Great A/C, comfy beds, and located in a quiet backstreet. The owner went above and beyond by having me rent his motobike for a day and picking it up afterwards! 🫶🏻

We turned up and left straight away as the rooms were very hot and the air con didn’t work. The room was dirty and was very smelly. There was mould all on the roof and ants in the bed
