Only downside was no coffee provided, even instant sachets, although the was a coffee percolator. The local food stores shut fairly early so we had to dash out as soon as we arrived to buy milk and coffee. Therefore provision of some coffee and pint of milk would be a nice touch.

Reviewed Feb 11, 2026Grand appartement de plain pied, lumineux, bien agencé, très bien équipé, très agréable à vivre. Très bon accueil. Quartier très calme. Vraiment le haut de gamme, dans cette catégorie de prix. Le spectacle des raies manta dans le port est très appréciable !
Nous n'avons relevé aucune opportunité d'amélioration !

Terrible smell of smoke throughout house, because of the indoor braii/ bbq Accommodation was cold( no heating apart from a small useless wall plate). Owner said too expensive for proper heating. Notice asking us to wash all dish's etc, even though there is a R250 cleaning fee. Tv not working We felt like we were staying in someone's house rather than guest accommodation

It was a residential area with the homes very close to each other. Noisy neighbours, both days people were cutting their lawn. Dogs on each side often barked. The fact that the owner lived on the premisis which was not indicated and was not private at all as there was a shared back and front yard which was unkept. The lack of signal / wifi was really an irratation as one can only read so much which was basically all we could do when at the home.

Reviewed Jan 26, 2025Beautiful little cottage. Home away from home. Sarah was an amazing host. Beds were comfortable and if you forgot your soap or shampoo you would be sorted. We loved the indoor braai (although a bit smoky). Luckily there were plenty of windows and doors to open.
Apart from not getting the TV to work, everything was perfect.

The kitchen lacked some utensils. Another chopping board and knife would make a big difference. We couldn't find a bottle opener either but we had packed our own. The kitchen drawers also didn't close properly.

In the pictures, I got the impression that it looked more new. A lot of decoration that made use less easy. Some furniture more run down.
