Sasanda Villa and Yala Safari Place

Prageeth and his wife treated us as if we are their family. They provided a very spacious room in a private apartment with its own kitchen, arranged a full day safari for us and cooked us dinner the evening after. Ideal if you want to explore Tissamaharama as well as do a safari and a perfect opportunity to interact with a local family. Thank you for everything!

I stayed in tissa for 2nights , the host is detail-oriented and well manner, even though I’m the single traveler , he’s take care everything during my stays. He helped me with Safari , prepared delicious breakfast, even dropped me off in bus station , I had wonderful time in this place :)

There are many mosquitoes during night time ; also no street lights outside so it might pretty dark if you back Villa at night .

Rien

The owners are very nice and welcoming. They made us a really dinner and breakfast after our safari.

Make sure you book the room that has airconditioning. Otherwise it may get very hot.

Mr Prageeth and his wife are very welcoming and kind. My stay at their place was really nice–the room was perfect as well as the homemade breakfast. Thank you!

Delicious breakfast! Comfortable and clean room. Truly Recommend !

Friendly Staff Good Breakfast near to the Lake and other places around Tissamaharama. stayed in this room and it was definitely value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. For the price I paid, it was totally worth it. I had a pleasant stay

Not bad

We stayed for two nights at Sasanda Villa. The apartment was very cozy, clean, and spacious. Our host was very helpful and hospitable; he arranged a trip to Yala National Park for us. The driver was absolutely perfect. We saw elephants, a leopard, crocodiles, buffaloes, and even a very rare Sloth Bear. I highly recommend Sasanda Villa!

We really enjoyed staying at this place! Prageeth and his wife made this stay very lovely. The place was impeccably clean and breakfast was delicious. Prageeth also organised our trip to Yala with a great guide and made sure to help us organise our trip to Ella. Definitely one of the kindest and most helpful hosts we have met on our trip so far. ☺️

Our hosts were incredibly helpful and attentive. They booked our day safari at Yala which was amazing. They even got up to see us off at 4.30am Huge room and big comfy bed

The location worked well for the safari — quiet and private, but still close enough to shops and restaurants. Getting around was easy, and we felt safe and relaxed the whole time. The hosts were friendly, easy to reach, and quick to help with anything we asked. We booked our Safari with them and they gave us a reasonable price. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and everything matched the description. Overall, a very good experience. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable villa stay.

Somehow many mosquitoes

Tutto perfetto!

Excellent place, very friendly and helpful host! We booked a safari through the host I highly recommend It. We saw a leopard 🐆🐆

Nothing

Had a great vacation at a calm and peaceful environment, infront of a water channel of Debarawewa lake. Couldn't imagine that much of beauty, few meters away from the Debarawewa town. Owner and his wife are more friendly and helpful. Reasonable price. Super clean rooms. Highly recommend

The owner was exceptional — one of the most attentive hosts I’ve ever met. He genuinely cared about my comfort and safety at all times, which made me feel incredibly well looked after. He arranged the best safari experience for me with a fantastic guide at a great price, cooked a delicious dinner, and even took me to the station and waited to make sure I got on the right bus. Truly outstanding hospitality.

It can get a bit noisy at night

I had a wonderful stay at Sasanda Villa! The location is perfect - just a short walk from lissa Lake, which made our evenings really peaceful and relaxing. The villa is great for families, with a calm and safe environment that made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, tidy, and spacious, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What stood out the most was the friendly and welcoming staff - always ready to help with a smile and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. I would definitely recommend Sasanda Villa to anyone visiting the area, especially it you're traveling with family. A lovely place to relax and enjoy nature!

Everything about the stay was great I would recommend this place because the owners are very good people, friendly as hell & really helpful.,👍🙂. Also I got a good price on the safari to yala with the owners.👌
