Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer waren schön und dank der Klimaanlage angenehm kühl. Der Pool und die Gartenanlage sind wunderschön und gepflegt. Besonders die Safari-Tour war ein tolles Erlebnis bitte darauf achten das Eingang 1 & 2 Geschlossen sind nur Eingang 3 & 4 ist geöffnet. Wir haben so gut wie alle Tiere gesehen. Insgesamt eine schöne und empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!

Tenía piscina, cuando acabamos el safari nos teníamos que ir, y hasta la hora del bus nos dejaron una habitación para ducharnos y cambiarnos.

Estaba un poco apartado del pueblo, y por la noche había que coger un tuktuk o así para volver porque había mucho perro por la zona. Habíamos oído que el safari era increíble con ello, pero nose si fue por circunstancias del día o que que aunque conseguimos ver el leopardo nos dejó con un mal sabor de boca al no ver tantos animales

Sehr schönes Hotel mit tollen Zimmern und Klimaanlage. Wir Empfehlen aufjedenfall wegen den Temperaturen ein Zimmer mit Klima zu buchen. Der Pool und der gepflegte Garten sind wirklich schön. Besonders gut hat uns die Safari-Tour gefallen. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Wonderful stay at La Safari Inn, Tissamaharama! The room was clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The Yala safari driving was excellent. Everything was perfect, and we highly recommend this place!

Der Pool war ganz nett und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super.

Das Zimmer war düster und nicht komfortabel. Das Frühstück kann ich nicht empfehlen. Die Lage ist gar nicht gut. Zu Fuß ist alles sehr weit, man muss jedes Mal ein Tuktuk nehmen. Die organisierte Safari können wir gar nicht empfehlen. Unser Fahrer hat uns fast gar nichts erzählt. Es war eine reine Leopardenjagd, wobei wir keine gesehen haben. Ich weiß nicht, ob alle Safaris im Yala Park so schlecht sind, aber im August war Udawalawe auf jeden Fall deutlich besser.

Very nice stay for all 7 of us. (extended family). Small but maintained swimming pool to relax after the safari. Owners very helpful and provided us with plates and cutlery even though we ordered food from outside. Booked our safari with them which was really good. Our driver Sasa ( Sasank) knew exactly what to look for, when and where. Owners happily showed us the resident Scoops Owl in the property.

Just one thing I may mention here even though its not a fault of the property owners but we had our good binoculars stolen from the back of our safari jeep in Yala NP at the resting place by the sea where everybody had lunch ( good breakfast and lunch was included in the safari package and nicely served by our safari driver). I think the driver / owners could have warned us not to leave any stuff in the jeep as we heard later on from other locals that particularly in Yala this is a problem as some thieves operate in that area. The NP should also act responsibly and put up warning signs at the resting places.

I stayed in 4 different places during my trip to Sri Lanka, and this was by far the best one. I loved how beautiful the property was, even better than in the photos. Everything in the room was brand new, and the place was exceptionally clean. Overall, it was a fantastic stay!

La piscina estaba de maravilla. La habitacion era espaciosa. Las chicas del personal eran muy simpáticas. Fue un detalle que nos dejaran ducharnos después del safari aunque no tuviésemos cogida esa noche en el hotel.

No habia presión en la ducha por lo que el agua era nada más que un hilito. Si mejorasen la presión sería un 10. No tenían mucha opción de comida porque era temporada baja. Aun así, el fried rice estaba delicioso.

Our stay was great. Pool temperature was nice, hosts were super lovely. They gave us welcome banana milkshakes, picked us up from the bus stand, and organised our drop off to the right bus once we left.

La chica de recepción te ayuda en todo lo que necesites. La habitación muy amplia. Llegamos a última hora de la tarde y pudimos cenar en el mismo alojamiento. Hicimos el safari con ellos y fue toda una experiencia.

関わったスタッフ全員がとても親切でした！ チェクイン前からWhatsAppで連絡してくれたおかげで送迎、チェックイン、サファリツアーの手配までスムーズで助かりました。 サファリツアーはいいポジショニングのおかげでヒョウも見ることができとても満足できました。 また、料理もとても美味しくスリランカ滞在中で1番でした。

エアコンがないので暑いです。扇風機はあるのでなんとかなりますが爆音です笑 朝早いので、休むにはちょうど良かったです。

Hicimos el Safari con ellos y espectacular el trato y precio, vimos dos leopardos y el guía muy bien. En el alojamiento nos dejaron luego bañarnos en la piscina y una habitación para ducharnos que eso se agradece mucho.

Tuvimos una estancia fantástica, los propietarios nos recibieron con un zumo fresquito, nos permitieron ocupar la habitación inmediatamente y nos organizaron la visita al parque de Yala con mejor precio. Son super amables y serviciales sobre todo ella. Cuando regresamos del parque nos permitieron ducharnos antes de continuar viaje. El precio es muy económico y la habitación muy cómoda . Nos aconsejaron lugares que visitar y buenos restaurantes. Gracias por todo. Muy, muy recomendable. Volveremos

Es gab keinen Duschvorhang. Es war sehr weit außerhalb gelegen. Es war nicht komplett sauber.

The staff is super helpful and friendly. They are in constant contact with you regarding your whereabouts to ensure smooth check ins. They offered shared jungle safari through their own vehicle which was amazing and quite convenient. This is a family owned and operated hotel so they’re very helpful. They even offered me some discount on my stay and safari package which was a huge thumbs up. Rooms are nice with adequate space and cooling.

Es war ein Toller erholsamer Urlaub! Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort sind super Freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Zimmer sauber und ordentlich. Sie haben ein traumhaften Garten mit Pool perfekt zum erfrischen bei den Wetter. Eine Safari Tour hatten wir ebenfalls wir konnten Tiere von nahen betrachten das hat uns sehr gefallen preislich auch seht günstig für so ein schönes Erlebnis. Nur weiterzuempfehlen

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten mal dort. Duesmal eine Nacht weil wir ein zwischenstop eingelegt haben für ein weiter Flug. Alles bestens dort

Wir hatten das Familienzimmer mit 3 Einzelbetten mit Moskitonetzen. Das Zimmer war einfach, aber absolut zweckmässig. Es gibt einen Pool. Der Eigentümer spricht gut Deutsch und bietet auch Safaris an, was wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Zum Eingang vom Yala NP sind es ca 40 min.

Personal muy atento que nos organizó el safari de Yala con un guía increíblemente majo, que respetó a los animales en todo momento, se separó del resto del jeep y pudimos ver muchos animales. La habitación era pequeña pero genial en relación calidad -precio.

Stayed at La Safari Inn and had a really great experience. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, the rooms were neat and comfortable, and the pool was very clean. The staff was kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The safari experience was excellent and very well organized. A lovely place to stay near Yala, highly recommended!

Nous sommes venus dans le coin pour le safari. En arrivant, ils nous ont proposé une journée entière dans le parc à un prix raisonnable. Nous avons mangé sur place et profité de la piscine la veille de notre départ matinale (4h30 du matin pour le safari) Nous avons quitté l'hôtel en profitant une dernière fois de la piscine et des toilettes. Les hôtes ont été très sympas avec nous. Ils savent accueillir par un jus de fruits. Aussi ils nous ont fait goûté la pomme rose, un fruit local que nous ne connaissions pas. Nous n'avons pas tester la distance par rapport à la ville. Nous étions en mode repos après un long périple.

Die Touristen Saison ist vorbei der Park war schön leer mit nicht vielen Jeeps. auch ein super garten gab es mit pool perfekt zum erfrischen echt toll dort. Eine Safari Tour bieten sie auch an sie war preiswert und eine super Erfahrung!

We had a wonderful stay at La safari inn.the staff was very kind and super friendly.rooms were very clean and they have resturant with delicious food.they organized our safari tour and it was amazing.we saw leopards and lot of animals. Highly recommended for the la safari inn stay and safari tour.

I had a wonderful stay at La Safari Hotel. The safari experience was very well organized and truly enjoyable. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always attentive to my needs.The room was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. The pool area was also beautiful a perfect place to unwind.Overall, it was a peaceful stay combined with a great safari experience. Highly recommended!

On this trip to Sri Lanka, I have not been disappointed in any place, measured against their price bracket. This place was exceptional. It was a warm welcoming place, with a splendid courtyard, eating/chilling area (after a long hot safari), and a crystal clear pool to cool off in. But most of all, the staff were marvellous, going above and beyond to help out in every way. I can’t recommend it enough.

Nothing. Comments about this and other hotels talk about them pushing Safaris. I felt none of that here. They message a blurb about their offering when you book, but in my case after checking with other guests I had to ask them. (All the hotels outsource Safaris, so what happens is somewhat out of their control - I wasn’t disappointed, we saw an impressive menagerie of creatures, but missed the elusive leopard, that’s odds on. Nevertheless it was great value for money and a great day out).

The safari itself I would not recommend. Not any guidance or comments from our tourguide during the tour. Als the Yala national park is way to crowded. I think we were with over 200+ jeeps at the same time. So ofcourse there were no animals to be seen. Also the takeaway breakfast was not to my liking at all.

Tissa town did not offer a lot to do for tourists but we were there during Sri Lankan new year so this probably had some impact on restaurants/cafe’s being open

Yes, was a perfect place to reset an join on the safari. Although I found Th safari not that interesting. Maybe going to zone 5 instead of 1 wil fix that. Less cars there. There is a really nice restaurant around 10min walking.. smoky …

Ein absoluter Traumaufenthalt im La Safari Inn! 🌴 Das Essen war einfach hervorragend, der wunderschöne Garten mit Pool lädt perfekt zum Entspannen ein. Die Safari-Tour war ein echtes Highlight – unvergesslich! Dazu kommt ein unglaublich freundlicher Service und top ausgestattete, sehr saubere Zimmer. Und ein sehr guter Taxi Service sehr günstig. Klare Empfehlung!

The staff was super nice and helpful. We also booked jeep safari with them. Free pickup at panneggamuwa junction bus stop and dropped us at tissa bus terminal. WiFi was fast. Hot water shower as well.

I had such a lovely stay here during my visit to Yala National Park. From the moment I arrived, the family made me feel so welcome and comfortable. As a solo traveller, feeling safe is really important to me, and I can honestly say I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. The room was very clean and had everything I needed, which made it easy to relax after long days out. The welcome drink was such a thoughtful touch and something I’ll genuinely never forget. The food was another highlight – the chef in the kitchen is amazing. Every meal was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. I also accidentally overslept and missed checkout time, and they were so kind and understanding about it, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend doing your safari through the hotel. They arranged everything seamlessly for me. The safari starts very early at 4:30 a.m. and they were awake with me, making sure I had everything I needed, even providing water before I left, which I really appreciated. The guide they arranged was excellent. He had such a sharp eye and was able to spot even the tiniest animals that I would have completely missed. He was also incredibly informative and knowledgeable about every animal we saw, which made the whole experience even more special. Overall, such a warm, kind and genuine place to stay. I would 100% recommend it, especially for solo travellers looking for a safe, welcoming environment and an amazing safari experience.

Nothing Everything was perfect

The pool was the main highlight, perfect after travelling or a safari. It was also very convientent to have a restaurant built in. The room was a goodsize for all three of us to spread out and have our bags out. The bathroom was very clean and modern.

The sheets were a bit thin so it was a little cold with the AC but also the layout of beds meant one was cold as next to the AC but one was hot as further away.

The facility is beautiful and welcoming, the staff very helpful, and the restaurant and drinks are also good. The safari organized with them was spectacular!

The location is a bit isolated, so to see something or go to eat you have to ask to book a tuk tuk, but this is an easily solvable problem.

La Safari Inn is up there in the best accommodation places we have stayed at in Sri Lanka. Friendly staff, very clean room and hotel. Their safari truck and experienced driver gave us a great tour through the park. Would definitely recommend.

Ein super Hotel wirklich tolle Menschen dort. Es ist alles sehr sauber und schön dekoriert, es gibt einen Pool der super ist bei dem Wetter um mal abzukühlen und entspannen. Wir hatten eine Safari Tour sie war sehr günstig und sehr sehr schön anzusehen. Leider ist unser Rückflug verspätet aufgrund der Kriegssituation aber dafür zeigten sie Verständnis und haben uns mit kostenlosen Essen und Trinken geholfen weil sie unsere Situation berücksichtigen. .

Bewertung für das Hotel mit Safari Ich kann dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen! Der Aufenthalt war ein echtes Abenteuer, angefangen beim hervorragenden Taxiservice. Für nur 50 $ pro Tag haben wir einen privaten Fahrer inklusive Benzin bekommen, und das über ganze 4 Tage! Es war wirklich komfortabel, jederzeit flexibel und stressfrei – der Fahrer war immer pünktlich und sehr freundlich. Besonders beeindruckend war die Safari, die wir als halbtägige Tour gemacht haben. Unser Fahrer war extrem erfahren und hat uns mit einem nagelneuen Pickup-Truck durch die Landschaft gefahren. Wir hatten das Glück, Elefanten und sogar Leoparden in freier Wildbahn zu sehen! Aber das war noch lange nicht alles – es gab viele andere Tiere und atemberaubende Aussichten zu entdecken. Der Guide wusste genau, wo er uns hinführen musste, um die besten Tiere und Szenen zu erleben. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel mehr als nur ein komfortabler Urlaub – es war ein echtes Abenteuer mit einem tollen Service. Ich würde definitiv wiederkommen!
