Reviewed May 8, 2026We loved this stay and it was our favourite out of all our stays in Japan. We had a great introduction at reception from one of the female staff. All staff in general were friendly/nice. The room and location were great and the property was very modern and secure with all the facilities we needed.
The only issue we had was the beds being on the more firm/uncomfortable side, we had better beds at other stays but also had much worse beds at other stays also.

The staff were very helpful and kind, there were spare towels and toiletries available at any time, the room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was within walking distance of the historical centre. The area was quiet. The room matches the description and pictures.
We would appreciate more space for clothes, but not a big deal.

It would be even greater if there was a breakfast and dtaff in the morning. The door was malfunctioning as well as the sink which was a bit stuck. Apart from that, nothing to complain about! Really great!

厕所有散不出去的异味，可能是在哪里比较隐秘的污渍，没有被清理。所以需要一直开着排风扇关闭厕所门才能防止异味传到房间里，但应该是个例。

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026The property is in an excellent location. While the room was a little cramped for three people, it had everything we needed for a comfortable two-night stay. We also really appreciated being able to leave our luggage after check-out.
Although there is a separate smoking room, the smell of smoke could also be noticed in the corridor on another floor. In addition, the hotel staff recommended a nearby sushi place that turned out to be a total disaster and the worst dining experience of our trip in Japan.

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026Location is excellent as within walking distance to everything. Front reception staff speak English which was a bonus. Facilities are clean, our room was large for Japanese hotels (there were three of us). There is no restaurant or other services at this hotel but they do have a trolley of fresh towels etc available on every floor.
Lack of luggage forwarding service although it was a short walking distance to have this done elsewhere. Beds and pillows were a little hard.

Reviewed Mar 14, 2026The room was gorgeous and spacious and very clean! It was only a short walk from bus stops so getting around was very easy, and there’s a lot of good cafes and a bagel shop for breakfast in walking distance, I’ll definitely stay here again next time I visit Kyoto! :)

Reviewed Jan 30, 2026L'Hôtel est dans un endroit calme, avec de nombreux bus à proximité (transports essentiels à Kyoto) ainsi que de nombreux supermarchés. La chambre est spacieuse, très propre et les lits sont confortables. Nous avions une chambre de style japonais, un mélange charmant d’un salon en tatami avec futons (très confort) et du confort de vrais matelas dans la chambre.
La kitchenette est petite, un micro-ondes aurait été pratique, mais ce n’est probablement pas courant dans les hôtels.

设施、服务。I was quite disappointed with this hotel for several reasons. First, the bathroom has no wet-dry separation, and the door opens outward, which makes privacy very poor when sharing the room with others. Second, the toilet does not have a heated seat. I’m not sure if this is common in Kyoto, but in Osaka this was standard, so this felt like a downgrade. Third, I booked this hotel two weeks in advance, but the price dropped significantly just 2–3 days before my stay. I asked for a price adjustment, but the hotel refused. This makes early booking feel meaningless. Overall, for the price (around 600–700 RMB per night during the off-season), this place is overpriced. I’ve stayed at cheaper hotels in Osaka with much better quality. I would not stay here again.
