It was a delightful stone cottage and very spacious inside. It had all that we needed.

The peace and quite. Red squirrels in the surrounding trees. We had a were issue when we arrive but Mary tried to deal with them immediately.

Nicely refurbished house. Remote location, which entirely suited us, but.a car is required to get about. Good communication from the owner. Would gladly stay again.

La maison est charmante, avec une vue magnifique sur la campagne; les chambres sont agréables avec des lits très confortables; la communication avec notre hôte a été très facile et agréable.

Rien pour préparer du café, et peu d'équipement dans la cuisine (pas de saladier, pas de passoire...).

Dit was letterlijk en figuurlijk een warm welkom; de verwarming stond aan, de houtkachel brandde gezellig. Koelkast was gevuld met melk, fruit, crackers, boter, kaas, jammetjes en gebakjes. Thee en meerdere kruiden aanwezig. Erg leuk huis met uitzicht over de weilanden/bergen. Erg fijn dat er 3 slaapkamers (super bedden!) zijn en 2 badkamers. Wij hebben hier 3 nachten prima doorgebracht. 's morgens wakker worden van de vogeltjes en de koeien in de verte. Rust! Mooie locatie om Ierland te verkennen; vanuit Dublin via Wicklow Mountains naar het huisje gereden, Cliffen v Moher, Cork/Cobh via binnenwegen zeer goed bereikbaar.

Wij hadden er geen probleem mee (gezin met 2 volwassen dochters) maar het huisje is wel wat gehorig. vb WC's doortrekken snachts etc. Bij de wastafels niet veel ruimte voor je spullen, ook dat was voor ons geen probleem.

Could probably do with a few more items in the kitchen - baking tray, casserole dish.

The whole thing was effortless from Booking to check out, property was spotless and absolutely perfect. I was so impressed and we will be staying in the future, for work but also for a little getaway.

Nothing to complain about at all,

During our recent trip to Ireland and Scotland, where we stayed at maybe 20 properties, this was our favourite. It is a lovely, comfortable, renovated cottage with a real sense of history about it. The owner was lovely and very helpful and informative. There was bread, ham and cheese (and other items) for us to have for breakfast. This was very helpful for us.

Location is always difficult to talk about. It was quite isolated, but this is what many people want. The nearest cafes and restaurants were in Thurles. It was a little difficult to find, but that is because we did not understand the Eircode system. Many guests from outside of Ireland would not be familiar with the system. But once we put the code into Google Maps, the location was easy to find. Maybe the Booking.com entry could explain the Eircode system briefly and highlight its usefulness.

Gemütliches Häuschen. Für uns wie geplant ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Tagestouren zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung.

Viel Platz, gute Betten, zwei Bäder, sehr gute Küchenausstattung, Lebensmittel bei Ankunft - vielen Dank!

Lage ist etwas abseits, aufgrund kalter Abende und Nächte wäre eine Heizung gut gewesen

Une petite maison, toute mignonne, dans un écrin de verdure, très tranquille. Idéalement situé pour aller visiter Rock of Cashel. Petite maison très confortable avec des victuailles mises à disposition aux invités. Literie très confortable. Logement idéal pour 5-6 personnes.

Le bruit de la douche et le fait de ne pas pouvoir utiliser les deux douches en même temps au risque de prendre une douche froide. Il serait bien qu'il y ait un petit meuble pour poser les trousses de toilettes dans la salle due bain du haut.

The location was fantastic so quiet.

Big bedrooms, very comfortable beds, lovely welcome pack, everything supplied in the kitchen that you could possibly need for self-catering, beautiful location, easy proximity to Thurles, Templemore etc.

Teach DeBúrca is a beautiful house. So very comfortable and clean. Excellent location and I will definitely be back!!!!

Found one of the drying horses with broken/missing leg and unable to use. Saying this for your info. Not a criticism

Brilliant quiet, clean and comfortable house. Well kitted out with everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend staying here.

Nothing, loved everything

The property is beatiful with stunning views, very central to Cashel/tipp/thurles. Mary, our host was outstanding, incredibly accomodating and so so genuine and helpful, always at the end of the phone and a great woman for the giggles when it was needed. The fire in the stove was so cosy and nothing was a problem, all we had to do was ask. There was ample amenities, the kitchen was well stocked and this cosy getaway was home from home, so close to many walking trails and nice places to eat. Mary is one in a million, so friendly and kind, Teach DeBurca is an ideal base to catch your breath, appreciate our natural surroundings and just be, high up on our list of recommendations.
