Coastal Park Accommodation

No food available at this time. The whole of the accommodation was very clean. Staff could not have been more attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much for them and they were very attentive when approached. Parking was plentiful and a massive help as most street parking was by vehicle permit.

There was tea and coffee facilities in the room. There was also a microwave that was on hand. Having access to at least breakfast in the morning would have been nice.

Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night.

Room was spotless! The staff here were amazing even came out in the rain to help me park my van in the car park. About a 12 minute walk to the beach great value for money.

Sarosh the manager was very friendly and went out of his way to keep me and my families rooms close to each other. He even upgraded my eldest sons room which was a bonus. I liked the deco of the rooms too. Thank you Sarosh

I didnt like the mattress at all. It was way too soft and gave me a back ache but other then that it was ok stay for a quick stop over stay.

Der Hotelbesitzer ist sehr engagiert, kümmert sich aufmerksam um seine Gäste und ist ausgesprochen hilfsbereit. Auch seine Restaurantempfehlungen waren sehr hilfreich. Allgemein war unser Zimmer sauber und wir haben kostenlos ein „Zimmer-Upgrade“ erhalten. Im Zimmer gab es einen Ventilator gegen die Hitze. Hinter dem Hotel gibt es ausserdem einen kostenlosen, videoüberwachten Parkplatz, was sehr praktisch ist.

Leider wirkt sowohl die Stadt Llanelli als auch das Hotel selbst teilweise sehr heruntergekommen. Kritisch empfanden wir den Zustand der Böden im Hotel. Die Zwischenböden wirken teilweise nicht mehr vertrauenswürdig; an einigen Stellen ist der Boden so stark eingesackt, dass man beim Gehen beinahe das Gefühl hat, ins Leere zu treten. Sehr problematisch ist zudem der Zustand der Badezimmer. Dort befindet sich teilweise sehr viel schwarzer Schimmel, was aus unserer Sicht aus gesundheitlichen Gründen dringend behoben werden sollte. Auch die Fugen hätten eine gründliche Reinigung nötig. Die Zimmer sind ausserdem extrem hellhörig. Man hört teilweise jedes Wort aus dem Nachbarzimmer, und auch die Türen schlagen sehr laut zu. Im Zimmer gibt es zudem kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten und nicht einmal einen Stuhl. Besonders kritisch sehen wir jedoch die Sicherheit im Brandfall. Zwar sind Brand- bzw. Feuerschutztüren vorhanden, allerdings scheinen nicht alle auf den Fluchtwegen ausgewiesenen Türen im Ernstfall tatsächlich benutzbar zu sein. Beispielsweise war die Haupteingangstür verschlossen. Auch eine als Fluchttür gekennzeichnete Tür im Speisesaal war mit Gummizügen verschlossen. Allgemein wirkt das Hotel (aus Schweizersicht) eher wie ein 2-3 Stern Hotel.

Very clean, comfortable, close to Town Center and easy access Wales Coast Trail. The gentleman at reception was friendly and very accommodating. Truly a person who cares about the guests.

Didn't stay for food as had early train to catch. Made very welcome and got an upgraded room, thank you. 10 minute walk to station, 8 to town but on a Sunday it was empty. Would stay again

The room was nice and clean, the owner was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We will be staying there next year.

Nice size room it was quiet in terms of outside noise. Shower was nice although needs fixing. Really good location not far to get around.

You could hear people staying above the room. Certain parts of the room need some TLC. No food /drinks available on site.

The staff were excellent and very attentive, making sure we were happy with everything each time we saw them. The location is good and we had our own parking spot each day. The room was a good size and very comfortable.

Very clean, very helpful and happy staff even carried my bag to the room. Ample parking at the back. The fan was fantastic as arrived in heat wave. Very comfortable beds. Teas, coffees,, chocolate, biscuits,water etc. Upgraded to king-size on arrival for no extra charge. Modern and comfortable.

Only reason for not giving a 10/10 was the shower kept dripping after turning off and took a while to get to the right temperature, no big deal.

The walk up from the train station was worrying as lots of litter etc but this only lasts for a road.

Lack of facilities for breakfast

The man on reception was fantastic. It was fully booked but he still brought an ironing board up to the room. The little rooms off to the side were lovely to sit in. Although they don't do food there was still a seating area with a microwave. Our room was spotlessly clean and the decor was really lovely with a main light but two decent side lights and plenty of plugs! Also a decent cooling fan which was good for the heat.

No bar. But everything else was lovely and if you take your own drink there's a lovely outdoor seating area to.

The owner was exceptionally accommodating and moved me to a ground floor room as my allocated room was upstairs and too hot to stay in due to the ongoing warmer weather.

We received a friendly greeting at reception. The room was a good size. It was clean and the bed was very comfy. It was helpful that there was allocated parking.

The shower dripped a bit when off, and the extractor fan was very loud.

Located 10 min from the train station, and 5 min from the bay, this is the perfect place to have ba relaxing time. I enjoyed the proximity to the bay both on foot (walked all the way through the Costal Park to the Sandpiper restaurant) and on bike (rental bike near the station, rode all the way up to Tywin and back down to the Wetland Center). I was given a free upgrade from Budget Single to Double room. The room was small but very comfortable.

Even though I let staff now well in advance that I wanted to leave some luggage at reception after check-out at 8, at 8 in the morning there was no one there. A shame! (I might have had to call the phone number provided, but it seems wierd to me that no one is present at the reception at that time of day.)

Unlike most hotels I stay at, they have plug sockets next to the bed, provide bottles of water, flannels and a decent account of sugar for your tea. Even chocolates

Location was a short walk from the train station and beach. Cheap, free parking.

The room wasn't ready and this was 4pm in the afternoon (normal check in is from 3pm). Room not serviced properly (receptionist, although polite and courteous just had to have a quick check before we went in...never a good sign!) Wet towels, made me think these had been used by the previous occupant. Stained toilet seat, stained bed throw/blanket. It was cheap and for this reason our expectations weren't high but I really cannot recommend this accommodation. We won't be going back.

The room was nice and clean and the parking was good around to the rear of the property. Even though there is no food available at the place, there is plenty of good choice of places to eat out, to suit everyone's pockets and tastes etc.

We were welcomed at reception then we had our room upgraded. We were shown to our room by the lovely gentleman. We were constantly asked if there was anything we needed or anything they could do for us .Would definitely recommend staying here ...

Maybe a hairdryer in the room would have been .Otherwise there wasn't anything...

We were only staying one night but were upgraded - the room was very clean and welcoming - a set of towels for each occupant , a chocolate and some biscuits too which is always welcome. Sarosh the manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful - could not be any better

Property was great - nothing to not like for short stay - perhaps a signpost to the hotel car park ( which is round the back ) would be helpful is all

OMG, this place is so lovely. From the greeting, to the rooms. Nothing was too much trouble. From the moment we arrived he was so attentive, so accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. Rooms were lovely, I can't fault anything about this accommodation. Would highly recommend.
