Lovely picturesque location, very friendly hosts, thank you for the supplies, very comfortable 1 night stay

There isn’t a toilet on the same level as the bedrooms but the stairs were wide and safe so it’s very manageable

È una casa storica riconvertita in alloggio, molto carina. Potete parcheggiare direttamente davanti alla porta di ingresso come vedete dalla foto. Il paese più vicino è a circa 15 minuti di auto. Bella la vista dalla camera.

La doccia un po’ difficile da regolare

Marie je úžasná hostitelka, velmi nám vyšla vstříc. Vše hodnotíme velmi kladně, ubytování je krásné, plně vybavené a v krásné přírodě.

Cesta sem náročnější díky úzkým cestám. Podlaha v patře velmi skřípe, což by mohlo být pro někoho se slabším spaním nepříjemné.

I loved the place being on farm. Marie was very helpful and provided bread,milk,coffee or tea plus there was cereal. She made us feel very welcome.

It actually got warm at night. So trying to sleep when it was hot was harder but I know the weather normally isn't this. Maybe a fan for the rooms would help.

Amazing stay, the surroundings are astonishing and Marie and her husband are 100% lovely and kind! The property has been rebuid with a lot of taste and it’s truly cozy.

The house is wonderful, comfortable, cosy, very clean and has all the necessities. The surroundings are simply incredible, green wide open spaces yet just a few minutes away from petrol station, Aldi supermarket, pharmacy etcetera. But the best thing about the place are the hosts. Dan and Marie are the most amazing friendly honest people. They are not just helpful, but we immediately connected like old friends. They made sure that we felt at home and went way out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Their dog Buddy also became the kids best friend. We will surely make every effort to come back.

We spent 7 days in this place and the only thing we didn't like was leaving to go back home.

Marie, her husband and Buddy (their little dog), were really lovey and helped in any way they could and made us feel welcome. Marie showed us the apartment and answered any questions we had. The apartment itself was really nice. It was very clean and tidy and filled with anything you may need. There was even some basic food if we wanted it.

Our only negative was the bathroom. The shower was misbehaving and we had to get some help from Marie to keep it at a usable temperature. Also, because it's more like a shower room with a curtain; after showering, the whole floor is left wet. Marie did say she regrets not putting a screen up, I think this would be a good future investment to avoid this issue in the future. Still, it was good enough for us for one night.

Los anfitriones fueron muy cercanos con nosotros y nos dejaron muchas cosas para utilizar tanto de cocina, de ducha, de limpieza etc.

Aunque el suelo de la casa estaba limpio faltó un pequeño repaso al techo ya que había alguna araña.

Marie and Dan were the best hosts. Felt like home. Kids really love the property and location.

Hosts were great. Cottage was lovely and clean. Suitable for our needs for the night. Nearby shopping facilities for essentials if needed. Thanks for the little extras in the fridge and pantry Marie.

Casetta meravigliosa con tutto ciò che serve! Pulizia impeccabile!!! Peccato aver fatto solo una notte!! La padrona di casa deliziosa ci ha fatto trovare anche latte fresco, cereali, pane e marmellate per la colazione! Posizione comodissima se si è di passaggio per Kilkenny.

Proprietari molto accoglienti, casa nuova, ben tenuta e fornita di tutto ciò che serve, vista sulle campagne molto bella.

Unica pecca la strada per raggiungengere la casa, ma ne vale comunque la pena.

The quiet location

Cozy two bedroom apartment with functional kitchen and living space. Modern facilities, clean space and lovely host. Oils, salts, cereal, tea and coffee was available for use, plus shampoo and conditioner in the shower.

Roads are narrow leading into the property but obviously not the property’s fault.

Lovely atmosphere and well appointed house with additional and unexpected items such as milk, bread etc very much appreciated

Everything too small. Not suitable for 4 adults. The beds in particular too small and springs not supportive enough. Not particular can be relaxed and comfortable as no where to walk and traffic still passing by though no busy.

Amazing location. 30 minutes from town but it's part of a farm. Cutest cottage with horses and sheep steps from the house. My bedroom (there 2) had a view of the sheep when I woke up. It has a nice little kitchen if you need. The owner is next door we talked for a while but she didn't want to "bother" us. She was so sweet. I'll try to post pics later. Thanks Marie!!

Cottage was immaculately clean. Milk and bread provided. Marie had the stove lighting and the heating on so it was cozy and warm. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

There was eggs and bread there with tea and coffee. It is quite isolated so that was a welcome bonus as we weren't expecting any sustenance. The owners were fantastic. We were given recommendations on several places to eat. There were some horses in the field next to the house and our 4 year old was delighted. She was even allowed to name them as they were quite young. Max and ....can't recall the other name. Also, there was a lovely stove burning when we arrived.

Honestly, there wasn't anything we didn't really like. The house had a slightly unusual layout but that had it's own charm. The kitchen is small compared to the spaceous bathroom next door. Pets are not allowed and that's fair enough but I'd liked to have taken our dog with us. Still, it's pretty much a farm once you step outside so that's understandable.

Fire stove was lit prior to our arrival, with copious fire wood and coals available to use later. Super clean and comfortable 2 bedroom house with a host (Marie) who was both communicative and helpful, giving us suggestions on what to do and where to eat.

Perfect accommodation, clean, bright, modern, with excellent amenities including wifi, tv with a range of channels, fully equipped kitchen, towels, toiletries, comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms with ample wardrobe space, wood burning heater and central heating, parking and beautiful views. Really close to local amenities and Kilkenny

My family and I loved everything about this property. It is an adorable, cosy house and the owner Marie was extremely friendly and kind to us. She had all the basic food items in her kitchen for us when we arrived and was so helpful with giving us advice on the locality. It even had WiFi and we enjoyed a movie on Netflix in the cosy sitting room. We will certainly return at some stage in the future. Thank you Marie for a wonderful stay.

Horses in the front yard, very nice people, very nice house

Perfect little retreat we spent the evening cooking and playing boardgames it was so peaceful, spotless clean and had everything we needed, we got to meet the calves on the property the next morning before heading off to explore dunmore caves which is just a short drive away

Really cozy and gorgeous little getaway

It is a nice, cosy little house, with beautiful landscape and peacefulness. Marie and Dan, the hosts are very kind. We got bread, eggs, milk to prepare our breakfast. We spent a very good night and morning there.

Our stay with Marie was brilliant. They were very accommodating to our needs. The house itself was warm, perfect for a getaway and within close proximity to the city. It was clean, comfortable and in a beautifully scenic area.
