Yunshan Villa

Property is absolutely beautiful. Located close to Mount Huangshan, and Shon and his family really go the extra mile to make sure you have an amazing stay. Shon organised my trip up to Mount huangshan, providing recommendations for the best routes, purchased my tickets and made sure I made it to and from safely. Also a great little restaurant within the villa, where you can enjoy both Chinese and western food! Don’t have to worry about breakfast and dinner at all. Will 100% come back if I am ever in Huangshan again!!

La mattina ci ha anche accompagnati alla stazione dei bus per salire sulla montagna. Camera molto pulita e confortevole. Colazione e cena ottime, porzioni abbondanti.

Замечательная вилла с комфортабельными номерами. Очень удобные и большие кровати. Отдельно понравилось, что есть европейские розетки и не нужны переходники. Имеется весь набор принадлежностей. Также вкусно готовят европейскую и китайскую кухни, всё было замечательно. Достаточно удобно добираться, поскольку хозяин виллы заранее связывается с тобой и заказывает трансфер (сразу предупреждаю, что он платный). Отдельно хочется выразить большую благодарность за то, что хозяин помог составить маршрут, чтобы посетить гору Хуаншань, где и что необходимо брать, по какому пути идти и сколько времени это займет. Также довёз на своем автомобиле до остановки, откуда идут автобусы к подножию горы и забрал на обратном пути до виллы. Хозяин хорошо говорит на английском языке и с ним легко коммуницировать. В общем, отличное место с прекрасным сервисом. Если поеду ещё на гору Хуаншань, то обязательно остановлюсь в этом месте.

C’ est un séjour inoubliable que je recommande à tous ceux qui recherchent le calme de la nature plutôt que l’agitation des grandes villes . À proximité il y a la vallée de jade aux eaux d’ un vert jade étonnant où on peut se promener à loisir et bien sûr pour les sportifs il y a le huangshan. Mais surtout ce qui est le point fort de cet hébergement c’ est l’exceptionnelle gentillesse de toute la famille qui se met en quatre pour vous rendre le séjour agréable en t’aidant dans vos projets d’excursion ; les chambres sont très spacieuses , propres et décorées avec goût ; le petit déjeuner ( à l’occidentale comme à la chinoise ) est très copieux ; les autres repas servis sur place sont également délicieux . Je recommande à 200 pour cent !!! 👍👍👍

An exceptional stay in a truly family-run hotel. The two owners, the receptionist, and the grandparents welcomed us with incredible kindness. Always available at any time of day, always smiling. You can sleep, eat, and drink excellent tea that they harvest themselves. They also offer transportation from the train station and for activities, which makes the stay very simple and enjoyable. A place where you truly feel at home. I highly recommend it. Un séjour exceptionnel dans un hôtel vraiment familial. First of all, it was incredibly helpful that we could communicate with Shon, the owner, in English via WeChat. From the very beginning, he went out of his way to assist us. He kindly arranged to pick us up from Huangshanbei Railway Station and even organised a visit to Hongcun Village on our way to his hotel in Huangshan. Shon was extremely helpful with advice on how to purchase tickets and which areas of the mountain were best to cover during our two-day visit. In addition to providing us with a beautiful room and excellent food, he also offered complimentary transfers from the hotel to the ticket office for the cable car, which made our visit so much easier and more enjoyable. All in all, we felt very lucky to have stayed at Yunshan Villa and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Huangshan.

Everything was really wonderful. If you are the type of person who would want to hike and admire the nature at Huangshan, please book this place. You can just relax here. You can have all your meals here because they have a good cook and the price is very reasonable. It’s like perfect home cooked food. The owner arranged transportation to and fro from this villa. He is a really helpful and friendly person. Keep it up. 👍🏻 No complaints at all about the room. Very relaxing. Good sceneries around the villa.

All the family staff member are super helpful and kind. They gave me the best advices and try to support me in all my movements to get to the bus park station and to the station to go back. The hotel has a little restaurant with good food. It's a nice hotel, room was pretty, comfortable bed and big shower. Position is ok if you cannot sleep inside the park. About 10mins far from park bus station. 50mins far from Huangshan North station. Breakfast included that I couldn't have because I got up very early but they prepared to take away. Perfect

Отличное место для посещения гор Хуаншань. Мы воспользовались трансфером от гостиницы от вокзала и обратно - за отдельную плату. Ко входу в туристскую зону нас отвезли и встретили - бесплатно. Хозяин отеля помог нам спланировать прогулку, за что ему большое спасибо. Номера были чистые и просторные. Завтрак был европейский. Ужинали мы в ресторане гостиницы и были довольны.

Die Unterkunft war sehr modern eingerichtet! Ein Himmelbett. Man hat sich direkt wohl gefühlt! Kleine Snacks und Wasser for free. Der Eigentümer hat mich sehr vor und während der Reise bei der Organisation unterstützt. Vor allem mein Ausflug auf den Yellow Mountain und zurück. Der Transport vom und zum Hotel wurde problemlos organisiert.

The location is lovely, and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. Shon organised for a car to pick us up at the train station in Huangshan City, as well as the drop off, a trip to Hongcun and the shuttle to Huangshan, all for a super fair price. He also was super helpful in explaining us which way to follow for out hike in Huangshan. The in house restaurant is also very convinient and tasty. So welcoming!

The room was beautiful and very clean, with huge windows overlooking the mountains. It shows some wear of time, which however does not overshadow the beauty of the place and kindness of the hosts

De locatie was heel fijn. Het appartement was super stijlvol ingericht en heel schoon. De bedden sliepen heerlijk! Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en het eten heel lekker. Zowel bij het ontbijt als het diner waren er ook opties voor Westers eten. De eigenaren boden hulp en ideeën voor wat te zien en te doen en konden ook het vervoer hiervoor regelen.

Amazingly friendly people who helped us with all our needs. The brought us everywhere we needed to go free of charge. Some shuttles did cost a little bit, but only for the very far away places (~1 hour drives). We could even call them to pick us up whenever we were ready to return. The rooms were nice, amenities were plentiful and the rooms felt clean. Breakfast was good, with a mix of western and chinese things to eat. We could even get lunch there and dinner, they have a menu from which you could choose varying local dishes as well. The location is very close to the Emerald Valley, only about 10 minutes walk. To get to Huangshan they can drive you to the entrance and bus stop at Tangkou free of charge which was very convenient.

The location is around 15 minutes from the next town, so at the hotel itself there is not much to eat. But since they have a free shuttle service, you can easily ask them to bring you to the town to get something to eat. So I don’t see this as a big issue.

The spot is super peaceful, with bamboo forests right outside the window—felt like waking up in a nature postcard! The owner is AMAZING—super friendly and knows EVERYTHING about the area. Need a hike recommendation? A taxi booked? Hidden local spots? Just ask them; they’ll sort it out in seconds. And the food?! Homestyle local dishes that tasted like grandma's cooking. Make sure to pet the cat at the reception, his name is 大吉, which means good fortune! Perfect mix of cozy vibes, best views, and hassle-free stays. 10/10 would come back!

Excellent accommodation, really liked the room with the bay window to drink tea in and relax after a day of walking. The restaurant food was great and the free transfers to and from the various main sites was really very good. Comfortable bed, quiet area, nice bathroom. Well definitely stay again.

Initially our mountain view room was facing a new building under construction, however they offered us other rooms and we were very happy with the final room for 5 nights. Not much they can do about the view being built out.

Everything was fantastic! Really comfortable rooms with beautiful design in the whole hotel. Good breakfast included and there is also a restaurant for lunch and dinner. The hosts speak English and helped us with transfers to and from the train station, as well as free shuttles to the tourist sites in the area. Highly recommend!

Beautifull room and comfortable beds. Bed was very clean however the room itself was very dusty. Cm dust on goods in the room is a no go. Very helpfull statf. Go to the emerald valley , it is around the corner and you can walk. The 'village' itsself has nothing to offer. They are constructing a lot so maybe its different in a couple of years. Yellow mountain is beautifull. Take the cable car up and walk down. We did it in 1.5 hr . Only stairs so be assure of muscle.ache in the calf haha. Dont let the villa arrange a massage. We did and we got a.realy bad one. I am a massage therapist myself.and i know.what i am talking about and it had nothing to do with the cultural differance . I stopped the massage....so bad

The property is in an amazing location. The hotel is beautiful, really clean and comfortable. The food of the restaurant is delicious. The host is very kind and always available to help. The host arranged transportation for us seamlessly. Overall, great stay in a really great place, 100% recommend.

The hotel is located at the entrance of the so called Emerald Valley and offers a simple breakfast - either Chinese with rice soup and meat filled bread (bauze) or a toast with butter and jam. Coffee is good - freshly ground expresso. The operator is really helpful. You can buy tickets to the local attractions at a discounted rate (cheaper than at the attraction).

The first day there was a problem with the hot water. There is no elevator. You park your car on the road in front of the house. I believe there will be an issue with the available parking area in high season.

The rooms were cute and the family staff was very helpful. When we didn’t know where to go on the mountain we could text them and they would give us directions. They gave us good advice for a local spa and arranged our transportation for the four days. The meals they prepared were very tasty and they had very good tea. Lastly they had a very cute cat. I would recommend staying here!

The staff were incredibly helpful and thoughtful! I was planning a trip to the Yellow Mountains. I booked the hotel and as soon as I told them I wanted to go there they almost took over the whole planning (which was really helpful). They arranged all the taxi’s and information and even thought with us when and where we could eat before going back to Shanghai. I was utterly surprised by how helpful they were!

This villa was one of the best stays in my time in China. The room itself was fantastic. Spacious and well maintained. As soon as I checked in and walked into my room, the heater and electric blanket were turned on all warmed up. The staff were incredibly helpful; planning my trip up the mountain and the hot springs right after. They also booked a shared vehicle to the village nearby. The included breakfast was great. They also offer to drive you to the mountain bus station and hotsprings and pick you up as soon as you are ready. If you are staying in Huangshan, this is the best place.

It’s a lovely home stay in Emerald Valley near Huangshan. Very clean with delicious simple Chinese breakfast. Owner was very helpful in providing loads of useful information for planning our Huangshan 3-day-2-night hike up to Bright Peak, 2nd highest summit on Huangshan and down. Walking distance to visit Emerald Pools and complimentary shuttle to Nine Dragon Waterfalls.

We stayed 2 nites at this location which is situated in the scenic area of Huangshan. Nearby is a beautiful park the Jade Valley where crystal clear ponds n streams run. You can view majestic scenery n greenery . The staff are super-friendly and helpful and we requested a guide for the Huangshan mountain tour. They also arranged to provide transportation to a nearby old village where you can observe the Chinese rural village life style. The hotel food was nothing fantastic but simple and tasty. All in all Yunshan Villa is a good and appropriate place to reside when visiting Huangshan mountain

There was nothing much that we dislike except that its a bit far from the city but then again its how you look at it.

The owner spoke really good english and drove us around. Really a nice guy that had very genuine intentions. Helped us plan everything as well - from the huangshan trip, transport, to the hotsprings. Also, really cute cat!!!

We had a great experience staying at Yunshan Villa. The place is clean and comfortable. The villa’s location is very convenient, just a 10-minute drive from key spots. The host family was very accommodating, offering to drop us off and pick us up at the bus transfer center whenever we needed. The villa is situated in a quiet area near the beautiful Emerald Valley, making it easy to explore on foot. The host provided helpful guidance on hiking Huangshan Mountain, allowing us to see all the beautiful scenery in just two days. On our second day of hiking, we wanted to save time by bringing bread with us, and the host kindly prepared it for us. The villa also has a washer and dryer, which was a great plus for us after several days on the road. We definitely recommend staying here if you plan to hike Huangshan Mountain!

Sean was extremely helpful! He sorted out a car with driver for the whole day for an affordable price to visit Hongcun and Xidi on our way to Hangzhou railway station. Moreover, we were late in Huangshan Mountain to take the last cable car, so I just phoned him and he told us a different and shorter way to go down. The breakfast was delicious, so I can only say that I definitely recommend to stay in that place!
