Prachtig hotel, erg mooi gelegen. Mooie kamer, heerlijk ruim.

Het ontbijt was niet bijzonder, het brood was niet te eten. Heel zompig... Met moeite kreeg je een 2de kopje koffie bij het ontbijt. Dat was teleurstellend.

Das Frühstück war toll. Personal sehr hilfsbereit

Leider fehlt es aber an den Details. Direkt beim Check in bekommt man eine Liste mit Dingen die man nicht tun darf. Das outdoor Kino könnte von der Einrichtung etwas mehr Liebe vertragen.

Hôtel tout neuf bien situé pour rayonner sur Djebel Akhdar. La chambre etait spacieuse, très confortable dans un environnement calme. Le petit déjeuner et le dîner étaient excellents et copieux. Mais c’est surtout la gentillesse et la bienveillance du personnel que nous retiendrons. Merci pour tout 🥰

Nice and quiet resort with friendly staff. The check in was very smooth. The villa is very spacious and has its private area. Breakfast was nice with good variety.

Breakfast was a la card and took forever. We waited one hour until the coffee was served. Breakfast was rich and delicious though.

I liked the fact that the property sits at 1970 meters high in the mountains. I had the Saffron suite which was absolutely of an exquisite taste, marble, hard wood and nice furnitures were all blending together to offer the ultimate luxury experience. The site only offert a restaurant and the rooms just to experience to the upmost what the mountains has best, quietude and pure air from such altitude.

The bed was a bit hard, the very only complain

We stayed in a truly amazing villa. Everything is new, clean, and spaceous. The villa had 5 big full size bedrooms with bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms spotless clean and comfortable. The living and dining room were spaceous and well-decorated (the whole villa was well-decorated). The villa had a small indoor swimming pool. Although the size is small, it was still amazing feature, in a well-heated room and the water was nice and warm. They even provided a safety jacket for the kids. Check-in and Check-out was fast, with a nice welcoming drink and snack. All staff is friendly and welcoming. Both dinner and breakfast were of good quality. The breakfast was not huge, but everything was fresh and tasty. In the night they had an outdoor cinema for the kids. It was a cold night, but with blankets and a heater, my kids loved the experience to watch a movie under the stars.

Although the accomodation is in the middle of the mountains, it doesn’t have the most beautiful views of this amazing area in Oman. But there are many viewpoints in the surrounding area.

Spacious villa, clean facilities

Villa pool was way oversold, it was VERY small, more of a jacuzzi without jets. Temperature was Luke warm. View was not great (was supposed to be a mountain view). Tea and coffee equipment in the villa was very limited. There was no milk available. There was a welcome cake but no plates or silverware to eat it with. No outside food was allowed on the premises.

Nice and quaint, private villas, away from the hustle of other tourists. Self sufficient place, perfect for a quiet getaway.

Limited Vegetarian food options.

The staff were so friendly and helpful anf were always looking for us and ready to fulfill our needs. The food at the restaurant is so nice and delicious. The resort is peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Jabal Akhdar.

The property is located far from any view, any life and behind high walls. The pictures are misleading, as the rooms are basically concrete bunkers without view. Ideal if you want to spend a day locked in a closed room with AC, but very boring as no international TV channels. No fridge in the room, no coffee on breakfast. The property is very clean but the money asked for a 3 stars hotel is outrageous.

The room without windows or views, the absence of fridge, the small bathroom without bath, the small rooms, the absence of AC thermostat, the location far from everything. This for an outrageous price.

The Villas were Superb with Big rooms very clean, Staff was great and Food was amazing They made a great Indian Veg food on request and Breakfast Menu was Lavish The Resort had Jumping castle and Movie night for Kids, Cycles and scooters as well Complete package to enjoy with Friends and Family Chef Rajib and team prepared Great Food Shud Stay if you are travelling to Jebel Akhdar Oman

Everything ! They upgraded us in a wonderful and romantic room. They decorated for the birthday of my girlfriend, so nice from the team :) The room was very confortable and clean, huge bathroom. The surrounding of the villa was very calm and we enjoyed a lot our stay. Special thanks to all the team, reception, restaurant, so friendly and always smiling! A very weird property. We were only guests there. It does not have any atmosphere. It is very bland. Service was very official and stiff. You have to strike a right balance. Damask resort looks like an abandoned soulless camp. The only thing I remember is the same tune being played all day long from the outside speakers scattered around the resort. It was like being tortured by it. Music is ok inside the restaurant but why on earth you play the same tune all day long on the outside? Pretty average breakfast. Loads of carbs not a single pot of yogurt or oat muesli. The resort is new and clean. Having said that, it is not very good value for money. The room itself was nice but two bathrooms are not necessary. There was even a kitchenette. This was really weird as all cabinets were metal. Completely not usable. No cooker no plates no glasses nothing. What is the purpose of this I don’t know. Maybe some clients would be happy there. It was a complete miss for us.

Food is not that quality. We tried the free breakfast and it was very poor in terms of variety and quality.

The staff was really nice. Rooms were very clean & new. The bathroom was very big & really clean. Open air cinema & cycling was a plus. The breakfast spread was good for vegetarians.

Relatively a small property as compared to other resorts.

We are picky about beds and pillows, and both were great. Lots of room, a well -arranged space, great restaurant with reasonable prices. Great hot water and water pressure.

The breakfast was delicious, but since there wasn't a buffet, it was made to order, which is nice, but that was rather slow. We weren't in a hurry, so we were fine, but if we had been, that would have been an issue

A new and fresh hotel with great facilities and hospitable staff. The restaurant at the hotel is one of the few decent eating spots in Jabal Al Akhdar. Overall probably the best place in terms of quality-price ratio in Jabal Al Akhdar.

Beautiful, quiet location high up in the mountains. The resort is new and everything is well maintained and clean. Big villas with new furniture and good beds. Good breakfast with different options daily. They don’t have a children’s menu but but are very flexible with kids friendly options. Very friendly restaurant manager who is trying hard to please the guests.

The ventilation in the indoor swimming pool at the villa is extremely loud and cannot be switched of. Some of the aircons/ heaters did not work properly making the house either too warm or too cold. No kitchen available. Staff is friendly but quite slow. When eating in the restaurant, the food was served before the drinks. Coffee arrived at the end of breakfast. The resort is new and they are trying very hard, however at this price point, it is a bit disappointing.

New hotel located in a quiet place, nicely decorated. The room and the entire hotel are clean. I stayed 1 night in October with my wife and my 3-year-old daughter. Staff is very nice and polite, especially the woman in charge of the restaurant during our breakfast. Even though I am demanding regarding breakfast, I have to admit that this breakfast was a real pleasure...everything was fresh (juice, coffee, fruits...) and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel

Welcoming and attitude of the staff. First and only hotel ever calling you in the morning to inform you that the room is ready and you can check in early. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Don't miss the afternoon karak.

Very nice clean, brand new hotel with amazing breakfest

We loved this newish hotel in the Jebel Akhdar area. Everything was absolutely fantastic - from the room, the people and the facilities. We stayed in the Saffron Villa, superior king room and had a great view. Highlights were the very friendly staff and the huge included breakfast! The coffee is also very nice (coming from serious coffee drinkers). We think this hotel is easily the best in the price range in Jebel Akhdar and would happily stay again.
