لم يعجبني أبدا التعامل مع مسؤول الاستقبال ( العامل الهندي) كان أسلوبه لا مبالي ، ما ينفع أبدا يحطونه لاستقبال الضيوف. بخصوص الشاليه يحتاج إذا نظافه أكثر.

The chalet was extremely clean and well organized. Perfect romantic atmosphere for couples. The three private swimming pools are the highlight — completely private and ideal for relaxing romantic swimming. Highly recommended for a quiet and special getaway.

The chalet is very clean, beautifully arranged, and offers complete privacy. The three swimming pools are fully private and ideal for a romantic swim without any disturbance. A perfect destination for couples looking for comfort, privacy, and unforgettable mountain views.

The kitchen equipment is not having the expected standard. Minor thing is that there are a lot switches for the whole house and it is hard to understand which is for what. It ended that our shower was cold. The owner will improve this going forward.

We stopped having hot water for some time. But it came back later. Reason why I'm noting this here, is to bring attention to the importance of hot water availability in such cold weather.

Reviewed Jan 12, 2026La piscine chaude, le sauna, le Waw quand on rentre dans cette villa. Le feu dehors. Le personnel était très réactif au besoin La vue est incroyable sur la montagne à qq pas de la villa. Idéal pour voir le coucher du soleil
La piscine extérieure et le jaccuzzi (intérieur) étaient glacés 🥶 Il y a un peu de moisissures sur les murs mais avec l’humidité dans la villa, ça se comprend. Bien que la cuisine est tout équipée, nous devions cuisiner dehors meme quand il fait froid. Le quartier est en travaux La villa était difficile à trouver même pour notre taxis (taxis que nous devons prendre pour accéder à la villa car seuls quelque 4x4 sont autorisés à monter cette montagne.) Pas de restaurant à proximité immédiate.

Reviewed Jan 10, 2026The sauna, the pool, and overall setup is really good! The host was helpful, and when we had an issue (for example gas ran out for BBQ), they quickly organized a replacement. English language was very limited, though.
while the official pictures are real, and all these things are there... there is the other side of the story - it's clean and instagram-ish 20/80, but attention to detail, especially with cleanliness is not there. I've attached some pictures to illustrate my point. High amounts of mold in quite a few places, which is not that hard to remove - so we found it dissapointingly surprising, that it was there. Overall, official pictures (and numerous reviews) suggest that this establishment is maintaining high standards and quality. However, we found it to be untrue, and not every detail is considered - from no cups to keep your toothbrushes, all the way to no dishwasher and a disabled stove top in the kitchen.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2025Eine Oase auf dem Grünen Berg – einfach paradiesisch! Dieses Haus ist ein wahres Juwel – eine kleine Oase, ein Stück Paradies hoch oben auf dem Grünen Berg (Jabal Akhdar). Es hat uns an absolut nichts gefehlt. Die Ausstattung ist durchdacht, liebevoll eingerichtet und in perfektem Zustand – man spürt, dass hier mit Herz und Verstand geplant wurde. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Gastgeber, der jederzeit freundlich, hilfsbereit und erreichbar war. Er hat wirklich an alles gedacht, sodass wir uns rundum wohl und willkommen gefühlt haben. Ein ganz besonderer Dank gebührt ihm dafür, dass er uns nach dem Check-out eine vergessene Tasche – mit wichtigen persönlichen Gegenständen und einer hohen Geldsumme – persönlich über eine Strecke von rund 200 Kilometern nachgebracht hat. Das zeugt nicht nur von außerordentlicher Ehrlichkeit, sondern auch von einer beeindruckenden Gastfreundschaft. Dieses Haus war mit Abstand die schönste Unterkunft auf unserer gesamten Oman-Reise. Wir empfehlen es aus tiefstem Herzen jedem weiter, der Ruhe, Natur und echten Service zu schätzen weiß. Vielen, vielen Dank für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt!

I did not like the fact that kitchen was split into 2. The practical cooking kitchen was outside while the fridge, microwave and oven were inside so it was a nuisance going back n forth across the house while cooking.

LIGHTING THE BARBECUE WAS DIFFICULT AS THE IGNITION WAS CHALLENGING, THE LIGHTER WAS NOT GOOD. INSTRUCTION MANUALS TO BE PROVIDED FOR THE EQUIPEMENTS. THERE WAS POWER OFF AND WAS NOT ABLE TO FIX IT. AS IT WAS THE TIME ABOUT TO CHECK OUT SO WE MANAGED.

Reviewed Nov 10, 2024The property was absolutely amazing! We loved the outdoor seating area with the pool and swing seat, the jacuzzi's and sauna were also wonderful. It is close by to walk to see the beautiful mountain views. Our whole stay was so relaxing and just what we needed. Our children were in love with the "fancy" hotel!
Needs some written instructions for the sauna, jacuzzi and wifi - it was hard to work some the technical things out and then remember all of it from the check-in instructions. The Wifi code was unclear as the first letter looks like a capital C, but is in fact a small letter. The cushions next to the sauna/warm pool were mouldy. The double bedroom is an open plan with the bath, kitchen and sofa, which is fine but could be a bit clearer in the description. Needs tea towels for washing up, hand towels and a surface cloth also - or bring these with you.

Very clean, great communication, incredible location. 10/10 across the board. 1st day in there felt like you were discovering a new awesome feature/view of the villa everytime you looked somewhere in a different direction. The layout, the decor, tge fixtures and fittings all top notch. There was someone able to be at the villa in under 5 mins if you needed anything as well. Highly recommend for a trip up the mountains.

Reviewed Nov 6, 2023A splendid villa with three swimming pools (hot, cold and outside pools), large window-panes, modern and cosy furniture, a great kitchen and comfortable rooms. You feel like being in California ! Nonetheless you're still in Oman, and there are lots of things to see around, on the Saiq Plateau of Jabal al Akhdar. Just note you need a 4WD to get to the place, first because it is compulsory (police checkpoint before driving uphill) and second because it is useful - not really to climb the road which is sometimes steep but very good, but mainly to get to the house, which is located in a housing estate not totally finished and you have to drive a good ten minutes on a rocky trail to arrive to the villa. The owner provides you with a video showing the way, but even so it's quite challenging to drive there, especially at night !

Reviewed Aug 6, 2023I am still feeling amazed about this chalet, it is a 7 star slandered chalet with three swimming pool , with full privacy , and a great atmosphere , the kitchen is modern, the indoor activities is very romantic atmosphere, which take you to another level of luxury. I am coming back again during the winter to enjoy the spa. I will recommend any one to book with out hesitation. The place looks exactly like the photos. and it is very clean.
Every thing was smooth and perfect , the location and the access is very easy
