Mactan Hostel

I like how cozy the place was. And it is really near the airport.

There's no bidet or a pail in the toilet. Other than that it was a great place to stay for a day or two. We were almost lost finding the place too... the building itself is quite hidden, so you need to ask people to find it.

I really enjoyed my stay at Mactan Hostel! The place is clean, cozy, and affordable, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I especially loved having a small kitchen and refrigerator, since you can easily prepare your own food. There’s also a BBQ place nearby, which is super convenient. The internet connection is also reliable, which is great if you need to work or stay connected. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, convenient, and budget-friendly place to stay in Mactan. Definitely worth the price!

Although, the location can be a little tricky to find at first. You really need to use Google Maps just search for "Franzone BBQ", and you’ll see a Mactan Hostel sign nearby. Follow the sign into the alley, and you’ll find the hostel.

Based saming experienced all goods the facilities not to small sakto lang talaga for two, super amazed kami kasi my libreng foods like noodles, water, softdrinks and alcohol drinks which is alam namin sa ibang facilities wala ung free subranf sulit ng money namin dito affordable na yet very high quality pa ung cleanliness nila, medyo concerned ko lang door sa cr its not easy to open and close kasi sometimes mag stock sya nor open kahit kinoclose namin din sa Location its not easy to be there kasi nasa maliblib talaga sya need pang may mag guide hihi but overall happy to stay there might be we go back there pag nauwi kami sa cebu salamat sa staffs and free foods po.

I like how cozy it is and very clean, the aircon is not loud, and the bed is comfy, what I love the most is that I can cook and very near to the airport. The owner or the workers there are very accommodating and helpful, thanks to kuya the one with a long hair, he is very good, he even gave me a solar lamp for the power outage and also find a ways just so I could be in the airport on time because the grab keep on canceling, but luckily I get one hahaha, and when I checked out he even assist me to go downstairs cartying ny 20kls luggage, unfortunately its flooding outside so he even helped me to get on the car without getting my shoes wet because he made me stepped on his foot, very gentleman right? I like him so much, very nice.

Perfect

Lovely interiors, quite clean and comfortable rooms. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating and facilitated us moving room to one with air conditioning which we were very grateful for. However the noise from the roosters does not stop, really kicks off about 3.30am and continues. The place is surrounded by a chicken farm. We are heavy sleepers but found it tough work even with earplugs. Otherwise it really is a lovely accommodation with great breakfast included, just a pity about the noise.

Booked as cheap accomodation not too far from airport. Super comfy bed and water available in the room.

Very small room for 2 people, cockerels at property are loud the entire night so if you are a light sleeper it’s impossible to sleep. The bathroom also has no hot water and ants. No reception so make sure to communicate check in time through message or you have to wait

animal voice such as rooster is noisy….However, this is unavoidable because it’s in the countryside. Sleep with your Airpods is ok.

Really well kitted out, small kitchen area with everything you need. Very clean and lovely owner/staff who waited up for us to check in. Would recommend, close to the airport and good for a night before an early flight.
