When my mom and I came back for dinner, the main switch for our room was off the whole night. We didn’t know who to call so we had to wait until morning to tell them to switch it back on. The TV channels was a no no, there’s no YouTube or Netflix option but there’s Wi-Fi…

I arrived back at the lodge quite late but I had to wait for an hour just to get into the property as no one answered the phone number plastered all over the entrance...poor service!

Convenient location Friendly helpful staff Room right next to car parking space so easy for loading & unloading. Lovely breakfast included, which was a surprise rarity.

The furniture in the room was heavy dark wood - a bit Goldilocks & the 3 bears style, which was a bit depressing could do with a more contemporary style.

The room was clean and acomodative to my needs. The breakfast was yummy, I didnt take the guys name who helped us, thank you to him. I will visit with my kids again.

The aircondition wasn't working properly. The bathroom was a bit difficult to use and I would like to suggest that they modify atleast one of the rooms to be wheelchair friendly. I can avail myself to assist in that regard for free.

**Maybe if they can have a big Carpet in a room or both sides of the bed to have Carpet because when you jump off from the bed you step straight on the floor tiles, imagine if it is winter the floor will be cold, **Can they have enough channels on TV, **Mobile phones to contact the Reception might be good **Big plates, utensils for incase we want to use at night

Central to Fourways area in Johannesburg. Breakfast is included in the price. Room wqs larger than expected. Colleague stayed in a similar room at Indaba Hotel and it cost 6x more than at Orchids.

We chose this lodge because having previously lived in the area for many years we knew that the facility itself (not necessarily the management) had been around for a very long time. Although convenient for local attractions (Fourways Mall, Montecasino etc.) and the room wasn't too bad, though rather small, the whole experience was ruined by a blocked drain in the bathroom. This manifested in grey water rising up through the drain in the shower when the shower taps were opened, accompanied by a bad smell. I asked for another room, but for some reason the receptionist was clearly reluctant to oblige - and offered as an excuse the unlikely story that our room was the only one with wifi! Remarkable! We didn't shower that night...

A very decent venue i would reccomend to any one staying in fourways area, with a good breakfast added in.

Room what is a bit cold, maybe a heated blanket would be good addition for winter months.

It was quiet and private. The room was spacious and well-lit. The place was easy to find and close to amenities.

It’s beautiful and clean, the rooms are a bit big, comfortable and the staff is very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back for a longer stay. Even though I left before breakfast was served, they still packed me fruits on the go.
