LASANTA Villa

The only positive thing was that when we told the property we could not stay because of the condition of the room, they were reasonable about the cancellation. We had originally booked for two months, but they allowed us to leave and only charged us for one night.

We booked this property for two months because we wanted to settle in Hoi An without having to search for accommodation in person after arriving. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, it appeared that the room had not been properly cleaned after the previous guests. There was dirt throughout the room, furniture had visible mold, and there was a strong musty smell. It was not somewhere we felt comfortable living, especially for a two-month stay. We decided almost immediately that we could not stay and had to find alternative accommodation. Based on our experience, the room looked very different in reality from what we expected when booking. I would not recommend booking a long stay here without seeing the room in person first.

The room was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet despite the property being on a busy street. We loved having free use of the bikes, and the pool was a great bonus. The location was fantastic, right between the beach and the Ancient Town, making it easy to get to both. Yuki was absolutely wonderful, so friendly, kind and accommodating throughout our stay. She really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was also delicious, she was very accommodating with our dietary requirements. Arranging our airport transfer was also very easy and convenient.

There wasn’t much we didn’t like about the property. The only thing we noticed was that there weren’t any shower products provided, although this may be fairly common in Vietnam and wasn’t a major issue for us.

I've stayed in many places in Hoi An and this is a wonderful location just outside of the bustle of the old quarter. Everything you need is within a 5 minute motorbike ride (pedal bikes are also available.) Cute cafés just outside overlooking the fields of lush green. An outdoor yoga studio 15-20 minutes away by foot. The family running the villa are extremely friendly and accommodating with anything you might need. A lot of hotels can be pushy with tickets to local events, but we haven't experienced that here. The rooms are spacious and clean with a smart TV for Netflix in the evenings after a day in the sun. My girlfriend and are extending our comfortable stay by another night. I would recommend this property and would return again in the future. Everything matches the photos and descriptions.

Ants are common in Hoi An so take out your trash!

Great location out of the busy part of town and near the beach and rice fields. Sunny the owner is super helpful and kind. We rented an electric scooter from there with no hassle and could get to old town easily. The pool was very refreshing after a long hot day of exploring. The room was comfortable and aircon worked perfectly.

Beautiful, spacious room, with a very comforatble bed, pleasant bathroom and a seating area. The rooms itself esceeded expectations and was excellent value for money.

My room was on the the road. It's a very busy main road and the traffic noise starts around 5.30 am and does not let up until 1pm or so.

Very friendly owners that made us feel very welcome. Conveniently located between Hoi An and the beach, surrounded by vegetable gardens. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. We were able to rent bikes for free and the breakfast, especially the Vietnamese one, was something I looked forward to each morning.

We had a room towards the street from which was very noisy even with the windows closed. The water in the bathroom was not very hot and the bathtub didn't really hold the water, which made having a bathtub rather obsolete. The pool was very small and didn't invite to take dive, irrespective of the weather.

We loved the place, absolutely nothing to complain about. The host family was lovely and welcoming, always ready to support. The place is within walking distance to An Bang beach and other lovely places in Tra Que village, and you can use the available bikes to cycle to the old town. Communication was smooth, room was clean with amenities provided.

The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable. There were bicycles you could use for free! I rode the bike about 10 minutes to An Bang Beach it was easy and pretty safe as there are bike lanes. You do have to pay 10k to park your bike at the beach. I had a great beach day! You can get a beach lounger free if you buy food and drinks at the restaurant.

The location was on a main busy road. Was a bit difficult to walk around the area, however was easy for grab to pick you up. The owner was away when i was there, I booked the place for the rooftop patio and the view. The patio was very dirty and i didn't want to sit up there. The view was nice though.

Great location in the heart of the beautiful Tra Que Vegetable Village. Hoi An old town and the beach are easily accessible via Grab Cars that were cheap and always available. The host family were very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. Bikes were available to use which was a real bonus.

We loved our one-night stay at Lasanta Villa The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a luxurious bathtub. The balcony offered a serene view of Tra Que vegetable village, perfect for a romantic evening. Phuong and her family were warm and welcoming, making us feel at home. The free bicycles were a great perk, allowing us to explore the nearby An Bang Beach and Old Town. The rooftop terrace was stunning, with breathtaking views of the rice paddies and Ba Na Hills. We appreciated the little touches, like free filtered water and a mini-fridge.

Honestly, we wished we could have stayed longer One night was not enough to fully experience the beauty of Lasanta Villa and Hoi An. The only minor issue was that we had to leave early for our onward journey, so we couldn't enjoy the breakfast. However, Phuong was kind enough to pack us a delicious breakfast too, which was a lovely gesture. Overall, our stay was perfect, and we would highly recommend Lasanta Villa to couples looking for a romantic getaway in Hoi An.

Honestly, there wasn't anything we didn't like. Our only regret was not staying longer! If we had to nitpick, perhaps more storage space in the room would be nice for longer stays. But overall, Lasanta Villa exceeded our expectations in every way. We're already planning our return visit!

Lasanta Villa is a Villa with a homestay atmosphere! My room was spottlessly clean and had very relaxing aesthetic. Arriving even in the middle of the night was not an issue - the family arranged easy pick up from the airport. Communication was super smooth, the family was always there to help out with various questions. I appreciated clean filtered water (no need to worry about drinking water) and laundry room! Reliable wifi for working as well :) Location is beyond beautiful - Tra Que Village is a quiet place but in short distance from the beach and Old Town. Calming coffee and lunch places around. This is part of Hoi An that unfortunately many visitors miss, I will definitely book again when I'm in Hoi An!

The 2nd time I come back here. Everything was great as the 1st time. The owner still remembers me, she always smiles and hosts me as well. I had a good room with the best service. I'm sure this villa is one of the top places I stayed in Hoi An. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and clean room in the more quiet vegetable village area of Hoi An. The Family is really kind and happy to help with everything, they even picked me up from the Da Nang airport in the middle of the night.

The room was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. The host was friendly and welcoming. I felt so relaxed and at ease here, just like I'm at home. I'd definitely return if I come back to Hoi An

Lasanta is the best stay I had in Hoi An, and is run by a very friendly lady and her husband who live downstairs with their children. Which makes you feel as a guest in their home. But the rooms are really well furnished and finished, like perfect ****hotel quality. She does her best and goes the extra mile to make all of her guests feel really comfortable. She made me banana pancakes because I was so tired on arrival, and later again just because I said I liked them! Also she charges honest prices for every addition you book like scooters or rides, which I can really appreciate.

The location feels out of town, but by scooter it's actually perfectly fine (only 6-10 minutes). I just didn't feel to go out at night in the busy crowds of old town and drive back, which is completely on me.

The host family was very hospitable and I felt right at home. Phuong even brought me out for dinner on my first night. The room was spacious and clean, and the whole house had a nice layout and vibe to it. I had the most delicious and filling breakfast every morning at the rooftop. There were free bikes for us to use, and the location was very accessible to both the town proper and the beach.

Spacious room with balcony, the whole villa is beautifully designed. There's a pool and bikes that you can use for free, there's also a lift so no worries about carrying your suitcases up the stairs. Perfect location in between the old town and An Bang beach. The owners are lovely and super hospitable!

Staff really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Gave me fruit and drink by check in, when I left to take my bus, they even gave my candy and crackers for on the road. Bed really soft and great room!

I’ve now been to Vietnam for two and a half months and this was by far the best stay I’ve had. Such a lovely family. We didn’t feel like staying in a hotel but staying with friends.

The location is great. It is just 10 minutes by bike to the beach and 15 minutes by bike to the ancient town. The roof top terrace is wonderful.

We felt very welcome the moment we got there; - The family was really lovely and helpful. Our daughter had so much fun playing and being there. - Nice spacious room with comfortable beds. - the breakfast was great! with a nice view on the terrace at the rooftop. - nice location at the quiet vegetable town, close the beach and the oldtown , with the use of the (free) bicycles. - the owner has good tips for restaurants and tours. We will definitely come back here if we are in Hoi Anh!

Best Homestay in VN if had….

The bed was sooo comfy so it was really hard to get up ;)

We had an amazing stay in the House. Location close to the Beach and the town. And the hosts were really helpful and Kind!

Very comfortable bed, great location for me as my friend lives around the corner. If you have not been to Hoi A this is located by the vegetables village of Tra Que quite popular for bicycle riding, cooking class etc and also very close to An Bang beach which has lots of options for dinner etc. My room was not cleaned for my stay of two nights if I had stayed longer I would’ve liked my room to be cleaned, however it was comfortable and I would stay again.

Ask for a room outside the central courtyard area as I could hear everything from downstairs.

It was a very pleasant place to stay, the villa is located at the vegetable village. We were provided free bicycles so it was really quick and easy to get to the old town. Phoung was extremely caring, she helped us register to a cooking class, which was fantastic, and she also recommended several other programs. When the weather was rainy and we stayed at home, she prepared some tea and snacks which we found very thoughtful. The breakfast was also delicios and plenty. The whole villa had a kind and friendly atmosphere, we enjoyed our stay there. We recommend it warmheartedly.

One small thing, when we turned on the AC, the air it blew had a musty smell so it probably needs cleaning.

Great location with easy access to both the beach and the city center. The Phuong family were very welcoming and helped me sorting the activities (loved the cocking class that I booked though them). The rooms are big and the breakfast was delicious.

A very nice place in the perfect location - close to the beach and a short ride to Hoi An old town. Facility is very nice - bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, and all furniture is new and looks just like on photos. Staff is really helpful, gave us free bicycles, rented a scooter and also gave us a ride to airport for a good price. Breakfast is also good.

The ceiling was leaking in one of the corners in our room, which was on the last floor. Due to that, the humidity in the room was high in a rainy day.

It was a little bit noisy at night. But otherwise it was a lovely stay!

We stayed at Rau Que villa for 9 nights and had a really nice time. Phuong and her family went out of their way to meet our needs and wishes. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated with enough storage space and comfortable beds. The rooftop is nice for watching the sunset over the vegetable fields. I like the location - very close to the beach and when you go to the old town, you just follow the same road all the way until you reach your destination. Super easy and we could use bikes for free. Would definitely come back!

We were told that it is a new villa but they were super efficient. organized and took care of everything we asked for. breakfast was plenty and nice. Downtown was easily reachable by bicycle as well as the beach

the villa was clean, had good facilities and gorgeous views out over the vegetable farms. it was also just a short walk or cycle to the beach (with free bicycles available for guests). the owner was very helpful and welcoming and prepared a delicious breakfast for us, which she served on the roof terrace. we felt really well looked after and really valued the authentic welcome after lots of places with people trying to sell us extras! the property is some way from town, but we found that taxis only cost 35,000-70,000VND each way (depending on time of day). it was nice to have the option to be quieter if we want to.

We are frequent guests of the cozy town Hoi An and this is no doubt one of the best places we have ever stayed. Away from the busy old town, in the middle between the town and An Bang beach - we just love the location! The room is quite spacious and perfectly equipped, you get so much more than the price you pay. Last but not least, the host is such a lovely lady who takes good care of you before, during and after your stay. Couldn’t recommend it enough !
