Reviewed Aug 13, 2026El desayuno nos gustó mucho: estaba muy bueno y había bastante variedad para elegir. La ubicación también es uno de sus puntos fuertes, ya que está en pleno centro del pueblo y hay muchos restaurantes y opciones para comer a pocos minutos andando. La habitación estaba bien equipada y nos gustó especialmente la bañera, que era de gran tamaño y muy bonita. Además, también disponía de ducha, por lo que teníamos ambas opciones. La habitación estaba bien ventilada, aunque durante nuestra estancia pasamos algo de calor.
El principal inconveniente fue el aparcamiento. Puede resultar un poco complicado encontrar sitio para aparcar en el pueblo y, dependiendo de la zona, hay que pagar. De todas formas, es algo bastante habitual en esta zona, especialmente al estar en pleno centro del pueblo. En la habitación había dos escalones interiores para acceder al baño, algo que puede resultar un poco incómodo y que conviene tener en cuenta. Además, para acceder a las habitaciones solo había escaleras, por lo que puede ser un inconveniente para personas con movilidad reducida o si se lleva bastante equipaje.

Our room had a water tank in it which made a lot of noise throughout the day/night, I'm guessing when people showered/flushed the loo etc. the room did come with ear plugs and advice that there may be noise...I assumed road noise, but there was no outside noise. The only other potential issue was in the event of a fire...the fire escape was inside the building down the only set of stairs , our window looked out onto a flat roof so could probably have got out there , but the window sashes were broken , so would have had to smash the window. It was an old building so I don't think anything else could actually be done. But I probably wouldn't have been comfortable with small children in that room. Would I stay again? Yes.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Breakfast was excellent. Location great. Room had tea, coffee and a basket with crisps and biscuits in. Plenty of shampoo/conditioner/soap. Communication was good before arriving, completely thorough about finding the B&B. Also car parking information. Free tesco parking 10mins up road, which we used and was fine. Lovely B&B and thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the garden having breakfast.
The bathroom is a bit out of date, but considering the age and structure of all the buildings, to be expected. It was very clean.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026I don't remember stating that I wanted a quiet room, as I was with a friend and initially I wanted twin beds but the cosy room was all that was availble, so I booked it. It was still a very nice room. We both had a wonderful stay.
The only negitive thing we saw was a bit of dust between the bed and the night stand. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay.

Der Zustand der Unterkunft hat mir nicht gefallen. Das die Fenster sind nicht in Ordnung. Im Schlafzimmer knallt das Fenster ungebremst nach unten und lässt sich nur mit sehr viel Kraft öffnen. Scheiben sind zum Teil weiß angestrichen. Im Bad ist die Verkleidung der Wanne nur leihenhaft mit Silikon befestigt. Im Schlafraum lässt sich die Jalousie nicht verstellen. Das Waschbecken im Bad hat kein Bodenventil. Die Decke im Bad ist handwerklich leihenhaft überstrichen. Die Sanitärinstallation darf sollt man nicht erst anschauen.

Normalerweise übernachten wir in Ferienwohnungen, aber die Übernachtung im Cotswold Gardens Bed and Breakfast war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis.

Esta justo encima de una cafetería y entras al alojamiento a través de la sala, con una escalera estrecha y muy empinada. Me tocó una habitación minúscula, con un techo bastante bajo con el que me dí varias veces, sin ser alta. Las ventanas cerraban mal y hacia frío. Y la puerta era un trozo de madera con llave, con bastantes orificios por los que se colaba la luz. No es una habitación cómoda para el precio que tiene. Ubique otros alojamientos en el mismo pueblo, a través de booking; que me parecieron mejor en cuanto a calidad-precio.

Reviewed May 21, 2026Our room was in the Cotswolds Cottage portion of the property, on Sheep Street, up the street from the Davenford tea rooms and the main part of the property. The location was excellent for being close to Market Square in Stow and the bus stop. Lovely shops and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend Wellness 48 in Beautoxology around the corner. The Brontë room was smallish with a low ceiling but comfortable, private, with coffee and tea, a small fridge, plenty of hot water in the shower, and a very comfortable bed. The television was great, the desk very handy for working. The breakfast provided in the tearooms, to order, was excellent. The staff were attentive and kind, above the call of duty! Huge thank you to Ravi for her assistance.
We could not control the temperature in the room except by opening the window. Occasionally noisy guests on the stairs and above us (earplugs provided.) Drain in the shower a bit slow.

Reviewed May 1, 2026建物は古いながらも部屋は清潔でした。部屋には紅茶やコーヒー、クッキーなどに加えて大きなガラス瓶に入ったお水も用意されていました。この街はコンパクトで、バス停にも歩いて5分ほどで行くことができましたので便利でした。 朝食もおいしかったです。
こちらには3泊しましたが、滞在中は一度も部屋は掃除されませんでしたし、タオルも交換してほしいとお願いする必要がありました。 スタッフの方は、他の欧米系のゲストに対応する様子とは差があるようでしたので、アジア系の人間に嫌悪感を持っているのかと思うような雰囲気を感じました。全体的に歓迎されているような印象はあまり感じませんでした。 また、バスルームのスペースが限られているため、洗面台がかなり小さく、少し高い位置にあるので、そこで洗顔するのは難しい状況でした。

The mattress has completely lost its shape, it is sagging on both sides. Some windows do not close, so it is drafting, however the heating works perfectly. The smell of cooking as it is above the tea room kitchen.

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026De locatie is top, midden in het dorp. Het ontbijt heerlijk met verschillende opties om uit te kiezen. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. In de omgeving zijn meerdere leuke dorpjes om te bezoeken. Heerlijk om door het Engelse landschap te rijden.
Er is geen plek om nog even lekker te zitten. Op de kamer staat 1 stoel. Het is wat gehorig en daarvoor liggen er oordopjes op de kamer.

nser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war leider sehr enttäuschend. Besonders negativ ist uns die enorme Lärmbelastung aufgefallen. In der Nacht waren durchgehend Geräusche von irgendwelchen Maschinen im Haus zu hören, vermutlich eine Pumpe oder ähnliche Anlagen. An erholsamen Schlaf war kaum zu denken. Zwar wurden Ohropax zur Verfügung gestellt, diese haben jedoch kaum etwas gebracht. Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig, sodass man auch andere Geräusche deutlich mitbekommt. Für Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf ist dieses Hotel absolut ungeeignet. Zusätzlich war es trotz vorheriger Absprachen nicht möglich, unsere E-Bikes über Nacht sicher unterzustellen, was für uns ein weiterer grosser Minuspunkt war. Insgesamt leider keine Empfehlung, wenn man Wert auf Ruhe und Verlässlichkeit legt.

Frukosten var ok men inte mer. Trist att få välja en enda sak, och framförallt att man bara får 1 kopp kaffe. det som serverades var bra iofs. Städningen var ok, men att det inte fanns varmvatten på kvällen när vi ville duscha var inte ok. Motvilligt kom de och ordnade så att varmvattenberedaren kom igång igen. Vi bodde högst upp i familjerummet och det märktes att det inte var första gången den strejkade. Rummet var annars trevligt, om allt bara hade fungerat.

The lighting could have been slightly brighter in the bedroom, but it wasn't a major issue. Very tall people would struggle in the 'Hobbit Room' due to low ceilings/beams.

Staff were very friendly and the booking in team were able to communicate with us very well. Great stay away.
Wifi isn't the best but don't worry this is shared throughout the Cotswold so a welcomed break from the frantic news.

We stay in the hobbit room which I think is above the kitchen, our sleep was disturbed earlier than we planned by some noise, sounded like extractor fan feel awful for highlighting this small issue

The shower could have a little more pressure but it was absolutely fine.

Traffic noise at night and early morning however they did have earplugs provided 😊 knowing this it would not put us off staying there again.

Drafty bathroom, strange shower and needs a bit of a refresh on carpet and area rugs and towels.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026Lovely place to stay in the middle of the town. Room was spacious and very cosy, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely choice of breakfast items and very fresh and cooked to order. Would highly recommend staying there.

Parking was sometimes an issue with no dedicated space. You had to wait until the evening and then you could move your car to the street outside.

Reviewed Jan 30, 2026The Bed and Breakfast is located above a stylish cafe in the centre of the town. The room was a good size as was the bathroom. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. It was warm and furnishings quirky. "Treats" were left in the room which were a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was served downstairs with a varied menu and nicely cooked. The communications before our arrival were excellent.
There is no parking at the property but we knew this in advance. The stair carpet up to the first floor is worn and dirty but this was not reflected in the room.

Reviewed Jan 22, 2026Lovely breakfast, room was nice with a big bathroom and decent shower. Small issue in that the sofa bed hadn't been set up for us but they sorted very quickly. Perfect location, staff were friendly. Room was up very steep stairs so not suitable if you had mobility issues.

Sorry but the bedding wasn’t great and the bathroom not brilliant , a noisy toilet and cold in there , obviously it was an old building and we didn’t pay a huge amount but could do with some improvements.

When booking it mentioned the rate included breakfast. On coming down for a coffee and breakfast at 8am I was told that the cafe opens at 8.30 and I that I could queue at a coffee shop nearby, I queued for 10 minutes and decided to get food & coffee elsewhere on my journey. The man I saw didn't even ask if my stay was okay..
