Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Casa pulita a due passi dal centro, da fuori non diresti, ma sala/cucina e bagno molto spaziose, abbiamo cenato in casa e trovato tutto il dispensabile.
E' situata su 3 livelli e gli scalini sono piccoli, come molte case irlandesi. Le camere sono un pò piccole e il bagno si trovava un piano sotto.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026We had seen very positive reviews which were all fully justified. The living room is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen area is also spacious and very well equipped, the bathroom too is large, and with three separate bedrooms it's really a house to stay in. There is some traffic noise from the street heard in the front bedrooms but nothing that a pair of earplugs doesn't fix. Fiona provided all necessary information in a very clear way, and was prompt and helpful in answering any further questions. Parking outside the house is easy, and there are several supermarkets very close by. On top of all that, there are some first class pubs just a couple of minutes walk away! Perfect!

Reviewed Jul 4, 2025The apartment is spacious. It was very clean. Kitchen and bath were well-equipped. There is a washing machine (which worked really well) and dishwasher (we didn't use it). We had a small jug of milk and energy bars provided ( which was great for our morning coffee). Fiona was very prompt in communicating, which helped when we had a small technology snafu. The price point of this apartment was very good for this time of year.
The air was a bit stale when we entered. This was rectified for the most part by cracking open some windows. Note:this apartment is in an old building, so there is a musty smell, perhaps from some of the carpeting. The other thing to be aware of is that it is on multiple levels and the bath/toilet is not on the same level as the sleeping area.

Easy walk to all restaurants, pubs, shops, etc. My family of five adults (two couples and one single) fit completely comfortably in the three bedrooms. Spacious living room for relaxation and chat. Full kitchen in case you need a break from dining out and want to cook a meal. Plenty of hot water and a good shower in bathroom. Clean. Attentive and communicative host. Apartment located on second and third floors of building, so possibly not suitable for persons with mobility challenges, but perfect for all others.

Swinford itself is a little neglected, but it has a certain charm.

Well, because of its great location in town there was a lot of street noise. The location was positive but for the noise. Just bring ear plugs and you’ll be fine.

The only thing I wasn't happy with was I couldn't watch im a celebrity before I went out but that was a me issue tv was there it was full of streaming apps I just couldn't find one for tv channels I'm not saying it wasn't there I just couldn't find it.

I loved it all, but there are a lot of stairs which may be problematic for people with mobility issues. There is a ground floor property too though if available.
