Hotel was immaculate, parking right outside the door, super comfy beds and fab breakfast - loved it!

Large bed. Great Reception staff, they arranged for me to have a room with bath. Lovely breakfast.

We had a room at front of hotel so early morning traffic noise woke us. Some sort of airlock in plumbing system so loud banging when you flushed the loo or ran a tap. Noticed it coming from another room too. Reported it to Reception.

Arrived 9pm not even sandwich available nobody at reception had early flight from knock next day no breakfast available before 8pm. Outside of hotel like three bedroomed house Charged 200 euro total rip off a disaster this is not a hotel it s an excuse for hotel. Nobody in charge . Went up town night I arrived could not get back into hotel no night porter total joke

David was an excellent host. You could tell that he cared about the hotel and your comfort there.

The location is nice in town . Staff were helpful and make it easy for check in and check out

The rooms were clean but not fresh. There was an unpleasant odour in the room , I couldn’t take it. The mattress was not comfortable at all and caused back pain. The bathroom was not clean to standard; there was hair everywhere, and it smelled like cleaning chemicals. The T.V and carpets need an upgrade. No air conditioning in the room , if you open the window lots of noise from outside cars and people. Some swishing sound from the plumbing at night in the bathroom.

Hotel was very convenient to knock shrine and very good value. Room was very comfortable and very clean. Food was lovely. I am gluten free the apple crumble was amazing .

The double bedroom was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable.

Bedroom was facing a very busy and noisy road. No aircon so I needed to leave window open, I didn't get much sleep. This hotel offers a Shuttle service on Booking.com, and the reason why I booked for the night. That didn't exist when I asked reception, they didn't know why it was mentioned. I had to book my own taxi to Knock airport which cost €30.

We have family living in Swinford and we have stayed here a few times when visiting . Our latest visit, there were 8 of us staying here and it was great value for money and great location. Breakfast and dinner were excellent too. The staff are great also.

The staff was so helpful and friendly! The food was great and we enjoyed our breakfast which was included in the price. The owner made us feel at home! We felt so welcomed! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The Property is in central location of Swinford town.

We initially met family there for breakfast on 02/05/26 4 days prior to our booked stay at the hotel. The food quality was very poor. Unripened half of a tomato with hard texture. Inedible! Bacon was of very poor quality with a thick layer of uncooked fat around each piece. Fatty smell from it. Inedible! Sausages were with high fat content. Inedible! Eggs were dried out like they had being cooked hours previously. Inedible! One piece Black & White pudding was ok. Baked beans were of a dark brown colour and tasted cheap poor quality product. Inedible! Hash brown dried out. Thinly sliced mushrooms all very tasteless not fresh. Asked for soda bread and it was very dry and tasted stale. We all had requested tea and it was cold after a 20min delay in receiving this food. Paid for our food in full but complained to young staff but they could only say sorry as no authority to do anything about it. No manager available to talk to and nobody on hotel reception on 02/05/26. On arrival on 5/05/26 for our booked stay at the hotel I informed the person on reception (male) whose immediate response was a defensive “our food is very good”. I explained our experience from 02/05/26 and advised I’m not trying to argue, I’m informing you of our experience and can you please confirm it’s not repeated the following morning 06/05/26. He then asked what time would we be eating breakfast and he would make sure our breakfast was a better experience. We arrived for breakfast approx 9Am and ordered a full Irish breakfast each. The breakfast arrived an identical very poor quality food produce as on the 02/05/26. (Thick fat on the bacon with a foul smell from it, sausages were better but generally it was of very poor quality again). There was nobody at reception to talk to and the lady serving it listened to our comment but she could not do anything other than say speak with reception.

It doesn't look the same as pictures advertised from outside. I had to drive around a couple of times to find it. I had to wait quite some time to check in even though i rang the bell. I had to go into the bar to ask.

Food was good. Room was ok. Bed needs updating.Dated decor. We ran out of toilet paper ad there was only end of a roll. Friend was assigned a room that hadnt been cleaned. Breakfast was good.

The food we had for lunch was outstanding! The staff was very friendly! The check in was easy and our room was ready before the check in time.

the only thing that we would change is to have been able to make our room a bit cooler. It was quite hot and didn't have much circulation.

Everything was fabulous. The staff was so nice and helpful. Katie McNicholas was so sweet and kind. She went above and beyond to help me get a taxi to go to my Grandmother's church in Kilasser. Loved staying here in beautiful Co.Mayo 💚❤️ Thanks again Marybeth Teahan
