Square Appart

We stayed two nights at Square appart. Check in was smooth and easy. We had two bedroom appart. It is fairly renovated ,modern floors, bathroom and kitchen. There is a fridge, TV,kettle crockery and other essentials. Very close to central area with all restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was good.

The location is fabulous in the centre of Jemaa el-Fna. The rooftop is great for seeing the square and all the tourists.

The air conditioning wasn't working well in the 44-degree heat.

It’s become my go to place for when visiting Marrakech and wanting to stay in heart of the city. We had 2 apartments, It’s spacious for my family of 8, breakfast included. Market on the doorstep as well as tonnes of local food places, especially in the night. Terrace with a view. Badr accommodating as always, any issues are quickly attended to and resolved. When I’m next back in Marrakech, I will be staying here again. Thank you as always!

Świetna lokalizacja, klimatyzacja, w pełni wyposażona kuchnia, do tego duże, przestronne pokoje i wygodna łazienka. Duży taras z widokiem na plac, na którym można przyjemnie spędzić wieczór w większym gronie.

Bardzo głośno do późnej nocy (1-2). Okna wychodzą na tylną uliczkę, która każdej nocy tętni życiem. Okna zupełnie nie izolują dźwięku.

Amazing location - great attentive host. Excellent breakfast.

Świetna lokalizacja, świetny kontakt z hostem - potrzebowaliśmy pomocy po 22:00, reakcja była blyskawiczna i problem rozwiązany, przemiła obsługa w obiekcie, smaczne śniadania. W nocy jest dość głośno, ale wynajmując apartament przy największym placu medyny, po prostu zasypia się razem z medyną.

Me encantó en general todo, la ubicación, higiene, desayuno, adaptación del personal a nosotras y sobretodo el trato con nosotras!! Lo recomiendo 100%.

La ubicación es excelente, justo al lado de la plaza Fna. Las habitaciones eran amplias. Estaba todo limpio. Tiene una terraza comunitaria para los desayunos en la Azotea.

Comfortable stay, wonderful and caring staff. Location is fantastic. Safe place for female traveller. Pick up and drop off location for day trips is also close by.

Es hat spontan geklappt da wir vor Ort umbuchen mussten Und die Hausdame war einfach super lieb!! Wir konnten jeden Tag eine individuelle Frühstückszeit vereinbaren und das Frühstück war wirklich super lecker!! Die Lage ist grandios!!

Es ist natürlich keine deutsche Unterkunft! Aber es gibt eine europäische Toilette, warmes Wasser und alles was man sonst so braucht! Man darf nicht vergessen man ist in Marokko und nicht im high class Hotel in Berlin! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Очень чисто, тепло (мы были в конце декабря), уютно, довольно тихо. Расположен в самом центре. Завтрак нас покорил, он был свежим, теплым и разнообразным. Принесли его ко времени, в которые просили.

El alojamiento estaba muy limpio y muy completo. El dueño muy amable, te ayuda en lo que necesites. Te llevan desayuno abundante a la hora que pidas. Está a un paso de la plaza, muy bien situado.

Es el sitio perfecto junto a la plaza principal. Es moderno limpio y muy agradable Todo muy fácil y el dueño te recoge donde te deja el taxi.

Manager was a bit pushy, Towels are not provided in cases the first set get dirty, the morning breakfast is fixed and you don’t have a choice. There is constant noice from the downstairs hotels

Everything! Badr, our host, was very kind, extremely helpful and always available. The apartment was modern, very clean, and located on a vibrant and lively pedestrian street with numerous shops and restaurants. The main square, Jamaa el Fna, was a 3-minute walk and the souk was a few minutes from there. Every morning, a sumptuous breakfast was delivered to our apartment at the time we requested the day before. What a treat! All in all, our stay at Square Apartments was exceptional and we recommend it with no hesitation. A big thanks to Badr, a wonderful host!!

La ubicación el desayuno la accesibilidad del personal para cualquier problema. El apartamento está genial responde muy bien a las fotos. es grande. Muy céntrico y seguro. La terraza genial porque desde allí se ve la plaza.. se puede comprar unas cervecitas en el carrefour o tomar un té ahí arriba y es una pasada. El desayuno está muy bien nosotros nos quedábamos con la tetera y luego nos tomábamos un té en la terraza. Aconsejo desayunar dentro de casa porque a primera hora hace frío.

Me gustó todo. Por decir algo.. Desde la habitación principal se escucha algo de ruido a la noche por estar tan céntrico.. Pero nada que me impida volver aquí cuando vuelva.

Fantastisk leilighet/sted for overnatting. Vi var 4 stk i familien og delte oss på to romslige soverom. Leiligheten var stor nok for denne gruppen. Veldig sentralt og 3 min unna den store plassen/markedet og det store nattelivet hver eneste dag. Gaten rett under leiligheten hadde alle slags butikker og mat restauranter, bank, velvære, souvenirer, taxiholdeplass med mer. Mr Badr tok oss i mot med god service og et smil om munnen. Allerede en dag før avreise tok han kontakt på WhatsApp og spurte om vi trengte hjelp til noe. Han møtte oss når vi ankom leiligheten og ga oss nøkler og annen nødvendig informasjon. Vi holdt kontakten med han via telefon hver dag og han fulgte opp på en utmerket måte. Veldig hyggelig person. Anbefales. Vertsfamilien som bodde rett ved og som ordnet med renhold og frokost hver dag var utrolig serviceinnstilte. Var det noe vi trengte, så ordnet de det med en gang. Helt super familie!!

Frokosten som ble servert kunne det vært litt mer variasjon i. Ingen klage, det var god frokost og rikelig. Men kunne vært litt mer internasjonalt utvalg.

The location of the property is in the heart of the city, just a minute away from the market, 16 minutes walk distance from Bahia Palace, 30 minutes from the famous Majorel gardens, a lot of small shops, restaurants. The staff offers perfect service and they are pleasant and always helpful.

Part of bathroom roof came off with loud sound while my 11 year old inside. Although she was not injured but she indeed became very scared. Not a good experience.

The ac in one room was not cooling, and then we had to switch to another apartment. The hot water was not on at first. Then it was solved quickly. The hot plate was not working.

Second time staying here, no issues, great communication with host as always. We booked 2 apartments, not sure if anyone else had the other but we pretty much had our own space with terrace and amazing views of the market.

Badr was our host and he met and walked us over to Square Appart which may be a little tricky to find unguided on a busy street. Drop-off near Hotel Tazi, then walk on pedestrianized street. The rooms were comfortable (two bedrooms). The breakfasts are good. you can eat at the rooftop terrace or in your room. They kindly did our laundry on request, and arranged for a driver and half day tour guide to see some places (Koutoubia exterior, Bahia Palace, Dar Bacha Museum, souk). The location is super convenient to forays into Jemaa el Fna and the souks. Bathroom/shower are modern and really good.

If you are susceptible to noise, use the inner bedroom since you may hear noise in the outer bedroom from the street late at night (at least we did)

We were a group of 4 (2 couples) and it was just perfect. The location is unbeatable. In Marrakech, We saw that a lot of people hated their way to the accommodation because it went through narrow shady streets, but this was absolutely different. It was right on the main road of the market and the Jmaa al Fnaa just a stone's throw away. I would give it full marks just for the location. All restaurants and the entire main market were conveniently closeby and worked so well for us for the tour hotel pick ups. The breakfast was deliciously filling and we enjoyed it with a scenic view of the market and the closeby city. The beds, linens, bathroom, sofas, kitchen and everything was super neat and clean. The beds were hard, but exactly the way we like them. The rooms are super duper modern and everything feels new. A Truly comfortable stay with huge Almirah and ample space in the apartment to walk and TV in the room along with the living area. The staff was super helpful and understood and complied with our requests and needs whenever we asked for it. Would love to come back to this place.

A little communication gap with the staff as we did not speak arabic or english. But they were still super understanding and helpful.

A well equipped clean apartment

Our bedroom window soundproofing was very poor so didn’t sleep well up to 2am due to outside ally noise.

Great communication, requested that I call him after we arrive at the airport and he would talk to the driver so that he can collect us from outside the market entrance. Cars can only go up to a certain point and it was about a 10 minutes walk. Even with 6 children it wasn’t bad, gave us a moment to soak up the surroundings. It’s a real kicker. There are shops right outside the apartment and in terms of pricing I found them better value than if you were to walk 5 mins further into the square and beyond. Walk around, compare and see for yourself. Breakfast spread on the terrace was the cherry on top. Great thanks Badr who made our stay perfect.

Unfortunately there was a bit of a drainage smell, however that seems to be a common theme everywhere and it sort of comes and goes, so have an aerosol spray handy.

The breakfast was beautiful, we were really well catered for. The location is very central and lively, close to the Souks, Medina and lots of Marrakech's main attractions.

The apartment was spacious for 3 of us (it's listed as up to 5 guests) but would be very cramped for 5 people! It was close to the main square-the picture makes it look as if it overlooks the square but it's about a 2 minute walk away and very centrally located on a street with lots of cafes, a bar, restaurants, gift shops etc. The breakfast is basic but filling and fresh. Had breakfast on the lovely roof terrace (or you can have it in the apartment if you wish). Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would have scored it 9 out of 10 if it wasn't for the number of small issues I had. Would definitely stay again. It's only around £10 for a taxi from the airport for 2 people so we did that rather than get a bus. On the way back it was actually £14 because we booked it for 3 people.

The keys are actually collected from a hotel around a 5 min walk away that we only found with the help of our taxi driver speaking to someone on the phone-if you arrive by bus and/or don't speak the language this may cause an issue. Could have done with an extra set of keys as we didn't all always want to go to the same place and/or at the same time Charged me an extra £100 for 1 extra person (even though price difference on website was around £30 No ironing board. Internet doesn't work on the terrace Internet on neither of 2 TV's worked

Great location. We had breakfast on the terrace and you can hear and see the main square, Jemaa el-fnaa getting ready for the day.

The beds were hard, like sleeping on planks of wood.

The property has everything to make you feel at home. It felt secure, the location is 10/10 (on the high street), lots of shops and places to eat. We absolutely love the terrace - large and safe for our toddler to run around, gorgeous views! The lady we met at the property didn’t speak any English but she was so lovely and helpful, showing us everything we needed to know. Mr Aziz, who greeted us, also was really helpful. The main bedroom was large(two single beds as super king bed), there was a second bedroom with two single beds but we didn’t use it. We liked that it had also smart tv in the property-great for entertainment. The apartment was spotless clean. In the bathroom there were fresh towels, loads of toilet tissue, hand soap, shampoo and shower gel. The market is super close we had everything we needed, breakfast was very good!

The windows were single glazed, so you can hear everything from the back street (you could hear men shouting at late night/early morning), motorbikes etc. The mattress is extra firm(personal preference), I slept ok but my partner did not sleep well. There was no mattress protector or mattress topper. In the bathroom there was no hair conditioner. The floor was marble like tiles and cold, so slippers were needed (there were a few beautiful rugs near the bed and in the living room, but no slippers).
