We verbleven een week in Sunstar Villa met 5 volwassenen en een kind van 1. We hadden geen auto gehuurd, maar gebruikten een Uber of Grab, dat ging prima. De villa is van alle gemakken voorzien, zoals een compleet ingerichte keuken en een sauna. Voor de kleine was er zelfs een leuk speelgoedkeukentje. Het ligt wat buiten het centrum Rovaniemi, maar met 4 minuten lopen sta je aan de rand van een bevroren meer. Daar hebben we een prachtig noorderlicht gezien. Het contact met eigenaar Fredric was heel plezierig en omdat we een late terugvlucht hadden konden we zelfs uren later uitchecken.

A beautifully presented apartment in a residential area of Rovaniemi. It had everything we needed for a stay with friends - a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and a lovely sauna that was perfect at the end of the day. I highly recommend this apartment. Frederic was a wonderful host and very responsive, even alerting us to the northern lights!

There is nothing to mention that we didn’t like!

Die Lage erlaubte es uns, schnell zu einem möglichen Polarlicht-Ereignisort zu gelangen. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung war mittelmäßig bei der Übergabe. Nur eine Duschgelegenheit für 6 Personen wird dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht gerecht.

Spazi in casa: avendo la cucina sopra la sala, i bambini avevano molto spazio per giocare. La sauna è stata davvero un ottimo optional. Ottimo avere anche due bagni.

The house is located in a very charming place

the only drawback is the lack of shops nearby, but apparently a large market is being built nearby

Perfect house!! Fredrick was an amazing host, very helpful and even gave us an alert about the northern lights!! I would highly recommend this house and definitely will come back to this place!!! We loved this trip mainly because of this house❤️❤️❤️ we thoroughly enjoyed ❤️

Clean and well equipped. Easily reach city center by bus number 6. Uber is also works fine. It is also very close to lake and you can enjoy walking over the frozen lake. Fredric is also very smart person and ready to help for every subject

Super nice communication with Fredric, the owner. Very reactive, friendly. Beautiful spacious house with all facilities. Three bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, sauna and bathroom. Close to Rovaniemi and walking distance to the lake, great to see the northern lights. Absolutely recommended Sunstar Villa.

The host messaged me with all the necessary details for access to the house and to get in touch with any issues. He even sent photos of the door and porch so we could easily identify the property. The house was lovely, in a really nice location, walking distance to the lake and supermarket. A bus stop was nearby (within 2 minutes from the house) so getting around without a car wasn't a problem. The owner was super helpful and he even video called us to help us to turn the heating down slightly. I would definitely recommend the property!

Perfect facilities for a family of 5 in the winter. Sauna was a big hit! We even got the northern lights out on a display for us on NYE night!

Price was high but not surprising considering middle of peak season in very busy Rovaniemi.

Very comfy and well equiped. The host was definitely the cherry on the cake and helped us with everything we needed.

Nothing to be honest

Location only 10 min drive to Santa village, local supermarket 10min walk , great place for families. And the owner was just fantastic, he waited for us outside the property just to show us around the house ! Even offered to take me to supermarket.

Nothing I could think of

The location of the house is great. It is true that it is advisable to have a car to move around but we had a bus stop 200 meters from the house. Supermarket nearby and residential area with nature around. The host helped us with everything we needed and even advised us on activities. 100% recommendable for families with children. We were even provided with sledges for the children to play with. An experience that I would definitely repeat.

It’s a good location. 15 min from everywhere. Supermarket is very close and the house was super warm and cosy. We found lots of kids things too like paper and coloring books and playing cards which are really helpful with kids. The host both had great communication and were very helpful. We found things in the house we forgot to buy like coffee and sugar so we were extremely happy. Oh we saw a giant white bunny in the back garden which made my kids so happy !! Very clean too. We couldn’t fault anything. Super comfy beds.
