Reviewed Oct 17, 2025Anna was an amazing host. The communication was brilliant explaining the check-in process in detail. The breakfast was serviced in a warm, friendly and homely way. It is definitely home away from home. Anna was also very helpful in giving me guidance of where to go and what to do. She even supplied complimentary earplugs as the building can get a bit noisy at times.

A poca distanza fermate bus dirette per stazione centrale. Buona colazione ed accoglienza empatica. Possibilità di lasciare i bagagli dopo il check in servizio gratuito ed efficiente . The city center is just 10-15 minutes on foot through gorgeous portico streets, every corner a photo stop. Safe, well-lit, and a pleasant mix of local life and light tourist vibe. Cafés, attractions, and entertainment are all nearby. 🏠 Accommodation Easily the best stay I’ve had in a year. Spacious, spotless, and cozy, with a private courtyard that feels like home. Everything (bed, linens, towels, lighting) is high-quality and welcoming. Peaceful nights guaranteed. ⚙️ Amenities – Excellent shower – Kettle, tea/coffee, cookies – Strong Wi-Fi – Private courtyard + shared garden with a turtle (!) – Homemade breakfast daily, warm and personal 👩💼 Host The host is outstanding: one of those rare people who turn a stay into an experience. She combines professionalism with genuine care: detailed check-in instructions, quick responses, and thoughtful gestures (like leaving snacks so I wouldn’t arrive hungry). For breakfast she personally prepared felt like being welcomed into her home, not just a guesthouse. Her warmth and attention to detail make you feel truly cared for: more like visiting a friend than booking accommodation. 🌿 Atmosphere The house has real soul. Bella Bologna znajduje się w centrum miasta, ale bez problemu dotrze się na dworzec na nogach. Apartament jest bardzo czysty, a drobne szczegóły (powitalne przekąski, piękna zastawa śniadaniowa, pyszna kawa, jednorazowe czepki kąpielowe i kapcie, itp.) sprawiają, że można poczuć się jak podczas odwiedzin u dobrych przyjaciół. Polecam!

Breakfast can be sweet or salty, according to your taste. Location is perfect if you want to visit the city and have a pleasant walk under the famous porticoes of Bologna. Special mention to the pet of the house: Gino the turtle :)

She was very friendly and approachable also giving us valuable advice. The accommodation had a nice feel to it and it was also in a very good location near the old town.
Sorry, but the spiral staircase was challenging with luggage.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2025De ligging van de kamer, maar zeker ook 't onbijt maakten dit verblijf tot erg prettig en kunnen we een ieder zeker aanraden. De buslijnen 25, 27 zijn dicht in de buurt en lijn 33 op zelfs 325 mtr. lopen. Hierdoor pak je eenvoudig de bus naar het centraalstation op 10 min. rijden.
Er hing telkens een "enigsins" bedomte lucht in de badkamer bij terugkomst op de kamer, maar gelukkig kon er voldoende worden geventileerd en was dit weer gauw verdwenen.

La camera era molto carina, la posizione comoda, in una zona piena di chioschetti per mangiare e bere, non lontana dal centro, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. La colazione era semplice ma con prodotti freschi, e ci è stata servita all'aperto in un bel cortile.

La scala a chiocciola per salire al piano sopra è molto stretta, ma almeno sono pochi gradini.

The stairs to the room are to small to take the suitcase up to the room. The airco makes too much noise. The shower head moves to easy to all directions so that the bathroom got wet.

The breakfast was perfectly adequate and Leonora gave us the local inside track on how to use our time well, where to go and what to see as well as best places for dinner. We felt at home in the sense that we had first hand local knowledge about Bologna. The accommodation was very comfortable and our hosts were friendly and helpful. It was as if they were inviting friends and they wanted to ensure that we had the best time, and we did. They have a really great walking guide (online). This kind of service is a rare experience.. And then there was Gino... !

Check-in was easy, and I was able to leave my luggage and have a spare set of keys to pick my stuff up when it was time to catch my train. Gino, the turtle, is also very cute. I am very happy with my choice of accommodation and it's really great to meet people like Ana who make every effort to make you feel at home! Grazie mil!

The breakfast was tasty and diverse and I really liked the blog about the tips. The B&B is located pretty close to the center yet in a quiet street which we appreciated a lot. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for accomodation in Bologna.
Just one thing - we stayed at room La Rossa and the mosquito net on the window was missing - that is why we could not leave the window open for night just the small window from the bathroom to get some fresh air.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2025Everything was great. Great communication with the host. I was given detailed instructions for check in and it went smoothly. Comfortable and good size room. Having a nice breakfast in the patio was the cherry on top.

Igiene del materasso, dei cuscini e delle lenzuola, in quanto materasso privo di coprimaterasso; cuscini con macchie gialle e federa non stirata e sporca di grasso. Anch'e i cuscini privi di copri cuscini. Presenza di muffa nella parete della doccia. Bottiglia di acqua potabile non sigillata co 2 bicchieri esposti all'aria e privi di copertura.. Televisore privo di connessione alle reti televisive ufficiali. Informata la titolare, tramite il personale, di queste mancanze riscontrate restiamo allibiti per la risposta ricevuta: " il coprimaterasso era mancante perché ancora da lavare . Esistono i copri cuscini? Io non ne sono a conoscenza. Avrebbe provveduto a fare rimuovere la muffa dal bagno il sabato 24 Maggio, peccato che io lasciavo la camera il mercoledì 21 Maggio ". Anche la tipologia delle posate non garantiva una adeguata igiene . Tramite il personale la titolare si scusava per il disagio procuratoci e proponeva il non pagamento della tassa di soggiorno di euro 24. La proposta da noi è stata rifiutata e la tassa di soggiorno è stata regolarmente pagata in quanto il disagio procuratoci non ha prezzo. Questa tipologia di soggiorno, così come si è presentata, non sarebbe stata accettata da noi nemmeno gratuitamente. Mi chiedo chi abbia titolo e dovere di controllo.

The house has a lovely, original touch that makes it feel both stylish and personal. We received a warm and heartfelt welcome from Anna and her staff who were incredibly generous with their time and provided us with tips and recommendations that go far beyond what you’ll find in most guidebooks. Breakfast was excellent, with delicious homemade cakes and a wide selection that caters thoughtfully to celiac and vegan diets. We truly felt at home — highly recommended!
