Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Posizione super, nel centro di Zhangjiajie e a 10 minuti a piedi dall'ingresso per la porta del paradiso. Sicuramente ottima qualità prezzo. Staff molto gentile in quanto ci ha aiutato a prenotare tutti i parchi con largo anticipo.
Colazione insomma, non varia e principalmente cinese.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The location was convenient, close to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and within easy reach of the town center, which made our two-day park tour very smooth. Staff were courteous and check-in was easy.
The hotel felt noticeably dated compared to the others on our itinerary — rooms and common areas could use an update — and the breakfast selection was fairly basic, with limited choice.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026We had a fantastic stay at the Metropolo Hotel in Zhangjiajie and could not recommend it highly enough. A special thank you to Wendy, who was absolutely amazing from the beginning to the end of our stay. She was extremely professional, helpful, kind and always available whenever we needed her. She organized our visits to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (the Avatar Mountains) and Tianmen Mountain, and everything was perfectly arranged. The tours, transportation and schedules were all handled flawlessly. Honestly, without Wendy’s help, we would have been completely lost! Her communication, attention to detail and willingness to help made our experience so much easier and more enjoyable. We also want to give a special mention to the driver, who was also incredibly helpful, attentive and well prepared. He was always on time, helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. The support we received throughout our entire stay was exceptional. Thanks to Wendy and the whole team at the Metropolo Hotel, our visit to Zhangjiajie was a complete success. A full 10/10 and 100% recommended! If you are visiting Zhangjiajie and planning to explore the Avatar Mountains and Tianmen Mountain, I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you, Wendy, and the whole team, for making our stay so memorable! 🌟

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Удобное расположение около канатной дороги и начала всех трёх маршрутов (A/B/C) в Tianmen park. Довольно хорошие завтраки с большим выбором.
Главный минус - нет горячей воды. В один день была, в другой не было. У них висит табличка предупреждение в ванной "Горячая вода нагревается электричеством; если датчик температуры воды показывает низкое значение - подождите 20 минут и попробуйте снова". Но в один из дней горячей воды не было ни утром, ни вечером, ни ночью. Датчик показывал 25 градусов всё это время. Какой смысл от других технологичных штук в номере, по типу умного унитаза, если нет такой базовой вещи как горячая вода. Три раза переставала работать карточка входа в номер. Приходилось спускаться на ресепшн, чтобы те делали с ней какие-то манипуляции. Wi-Fi не работал, вообще. Писало ошибку "нет подключения к интернету".

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026The hotel location is central, sorrounded by restaurants and very close to the cableway station to tianmen mountain. The breakfast is very good with a variety of options either Asian food or western. Finally the staff were always very very helpful in particular Candy.
This is not the hotel's direct responsibility; at some point in the more or less recent past, someone smoked inside the room.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Расположение идеальное, в 5 минутах ходьбы от канатной дороги, рядом есть магазины, аптеки, места где по есть, относительно удобный подъезд для Диди, номера хорошие, полностью нашпигованы автоматизацей, туалет "абьюзер", пока разобралась, ругалась с ним страшно, то греет, то моет, вообщем, развлеклись с ним славно, но понравилось, сам весь умный, смывает На первом этаже есть все для покупки экскурсий. Завтрак не брала

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026The hotel has a great location if you are going to visit Tianmen mountain. It is also close to the train station (in case you are planning to go to Furong Town) and the airport. The staff was kind and helpful, we arrived in the morning and they let us check-in way earlier than the usual check in time.
There are not enough elevators for the size of the hotel, reaching the restaurant at breakfast was pretty challenging and apparently there are no stairs.

We would especially like to thank Mr. Grand, who spoke excellent English and helped us tremendously throughout our stay. We would also like to give special thanks to Winni, who arranged all of our tickets, planned our entire four-day itinerary. Her assistance made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. We were also very grateful for the complimentary laundry service. As we are traveling with 3-year-old children, this was incredibly convenient and greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel. The outstanding service, friendly staff, and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Reviewed May 22, 2026Das Hotel wirkt von außen nicht sehr spektakulär, hat aber sehr schön gestaltete Zimmer. Da aktuell hinter dem Hotel eine große Baustelle ist, empfiehlt sich ein Zimmer mit Blick zur Straße zu nehmen. Die Lage ist perfekt als Ausgangspunkt zum Tianmen Mountain. Das Frühstück ist vollkommen in Ordnung, und für abends gibt es in direkter Umgebung mehrere kleine Restaurants.

А еще в коридоре ездит робот, развозит заказанную еду. В общем все понравилось и постель мягкая белоснежная . Все отлично. Рекомендую.

People in smoking rooms left their doors open at night, and so the smoke was in the hallways and we could smell it in our non-smoking room which was unacceptable. Also, we were leaving early (6.30am) to visit the forest park. We were advised by reception that the restaurant only serves breakfast from 7am. When I asked to have my breakfast fee refunded they refused. Instead they gave me a container of rock melon, a cup of milk and some bread. And the restaurant was open at 6.20am when we left our room. Unacceptable, and no refund offered.

The room was high tech with XiaoDu AI connection throughout. Room was very comfortable and clean. Pillows were fluffy. The bathroom rain shower was powerful and hot water was just perfect. There is a laundry and dryer machines for use. Breakfast was adequate if you aren’t too fussy. It catered well with a balance of East and West food options. Very pleased overall.
The bed was a little harder for my liking but not a deal breaker. I still had a great stay.
