BHRS Residency

We just returned from Munnar after staying at BHRS for three nights, and we had a wonderful experience. The accommodation was modern, exceptionally clean, spacious and very comfortable. The views from both the upper and lower flats were nothing short of spectacular. We loved the place so much that we spent all three evenings relaxing there and enjoying the beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. A special mention must go to the caretaker, Arockiasamy, who looked after us extremely well throughout our stay. He was very helpful, attentive and catered to all our needs, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at BHRS and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Munnar. We would certainly love to stay here again!

One thing to be aware of is that if you are relying on walking, the approach to the property is quite steep, with significant ups and downs, so it could be challenging for some people. However, as we had hired a vehicle for our stay, this wasn’t a problem for us at all.

Toiletries were missing, had to ask, still they could not provide enough toiletries. Bath towels were missing.

Overall ambience was decent. Supervisor Arokya Sami was humble and always available. Arranged rides. Complimentary breakfast was very homely.

Very beautiful location and very comfortable house.

I had a very pleasant stay at this homestay. The place was neat, tidy, and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The service provided was excellent, and everything was managed efficiently. One of the highlights was the Kerala style homely breakfast, which was fresh and delicious, giving a truly comforting feel. The caretaker was very welcoming and ensured great hospitality throughout the stay. Overall, it felt just like being at home. Highly recommended for anyone, especially family, looking for a clean, peaceful, and well-cared-for stay.

Around 600 metres of the road leading from the main road to the property is not in very good condition. However, even a small car can reach the property without much difficulty.

I had a wonderful experience at this homestay. The hospitality is truly commendable — the hosts are warm, attentive, and make sure you feel comfortable throughout your stay. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the property manager is always quick to respond and resolve any issues that come up. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine care. Highly recommended!

Very good 2BHK house with modern fittings & clean bathrooms. Good view from bedroom and balcony. Staff were very good and cooperative particularly Mr. ArockyaSamy, who helped us to get food even in heavy rains.

House is bit far from the main road, about 1km. Not a big distance but the uneven geography makes it difficult to walk and reach the main road, especually during rains

The hotel is well maintained and clean. We as a family enjoyed the stay over here. Facilities and amenities were good. Kindly Staff was available and helped us in a nice stay experience. Very spacious hall, bedroom and kitchen, perfect for family and friends stay. Value for money.

Though the hotel is good, this property is little away from the city. So, you might have additional travel time and waiting time in traffic conditions. The property is deep inside and there is a steep slope on the way, travellers coming in own vehicle to be cautious especially during night time. No nearby shops, morning food is fine but could have been better.

It was a great experience at BHRS Residency munnar with family. Staff behaviour is excellent. Great food. Well maintained and hygiene part is excellent.
