Reviewed May 14, 2026The bed was super cozy/comfortable, and I had my best sleep since we started our holiday 10 days ago! Great location. The kitchen has a great stove and adequate cookware. The living area is spacious and tastefully decorated.
No room in the bedroom to put suitcases so it made it a bit awkward.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Clean, comfy, not too far from town. Apartment had everything I needed for a short stay. The garden is lovely -- great for sitting outside for dinner on a sunny evening.
The host could add a bathroom bin as there isn't one at the moment.

The bed is far too soft and really hurt my neck and back. This probably should be looked in to because I wouldn't want others to also hurt themselves sleeping, especially people staying multiple nights. I think for a one night stay, little milks should be available for tea/coffee. It just seemed a little strange that there was tomato sauce in the fridge and not milk?

Reviewed Mar 20, 2026Great location, comfortable house and friendly host. The garden was beautiful and I wish we could have spent more time there. Perfect place to stay for a few days while exploring picton or waiting for the ferry.
Upstairs was quite noisy but didn't affect us much as we left for the ferry anyway so we didn't stay a full night.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026Very convenient for the ferry terminal , we very much appreciated this after arriving late evening because of a delayed ferry (apparently this happens quite often). The apartment was spacious and clean and all communication from the owner was clear and prompt.
Unfortunately we were woken during the night by a smoke detector that required it's battery replacing; a bit unfortunate but probably should be replaced more regularly to prevent this from happening - probably just an oversight and certainly wouldn't prevent us from stopping there again.

Reviewed Feb 12, 2026Debbie was so hospitable that she picked us up from the train station, which was much appreciated as there were no taxis available. The place is peaceful and comfortable, which would make it easy to stay longer if we could. Highly recomend this place.

Nothing I didn’t like, struggled a little to find the entrance however I did arrive in the evening. And access is via the garage which I wasn’t aware of.

They even left chocolates & biscuits. It's easy to check in and the apartment is in a quiet location on the edge of Picton, an easy walk into town.

There was no additional lock on the internal door, although the garage door was locked with the remote.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2025Very clean and well decorated there was everything that was required. Bed was very comfortable with plenty of bedding for the cooler nights.
The only negative was we signed into the wifi when we arrived but the next morning and rest of our stay we found that there was no internet connection.
