A lovely property with really friendly hosts, well situated for the Rosslaire ferry terminal.

A really small thing, but the shower saturated the bathroom floor.

No breakfast needed. The Host. The location, ideal location for travel on the Ferry next day. The bedroom was a little bit cluttered. Otherwise:. Highly Rdccommended

Beautifully decorated room and large bathroom. Location for morning ferry was fantastic, just a 10 minute drive. Just what we needed after a long drive.

Would be great if a kingsize bed rather than a double, but the room and value for money was amazing.

Paula was a very welcoming host. She greeted us and made us feel at home. The bedroom was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom.

The only down side was we checked in too late to order breakfast the following morning.

We got a lovely warm welcome from Michael. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and the bathroom had a great shower.

We were on bikes and the bikes were left overnight in the car park to the front of house. While I am sure the bikes were perfectly safe, the saddles were wet when we left at 6.30 next morning!!

The room was tastefully decorated and very clean.

On arrival Victoria was a pleasant and friendly hostess and the room was immaculate and perfect for us just needing a comfortable overnight before catching the ferry early next morning. We did not order breakfast as we were away by 7am and that was one as a big plus for us as we didn’t pay for a service we didn’t need. Apple Lea house is a little gem and we would definitely stay there again

Maybe just our sat nav …….the name of the B&B didn’t show up on our van maps but we found it in the end and was quite straightforward really. Nothing to do with the stay or a fault of the B&B

Everything was perfect. Beautiful room, rather quirky decor. Great shower and bathroom. Tea & coffee facilities, drinking water, parking space. Ten mins drive from Rosslare ferry and 5 mins from the beach. Absolute gem! Thank you Paula.

We stayed for one night on our way to Rosslare after visiting our family in Co. Limerick. Applelea House was perfect, such beautiful decor and a big bathroom with a lovely shower. The room was very comfortable with thoughtful touches including ice cold water, tea, coffee and biscuits. Thank you.

Everything was very good - it was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, parking on site, everything provided for a very comfortable stay. The host Michael was very friendly, and helpful with ideas where to get an evening meal . Wound thoroughly recommend this property

Very welcoming host who explained every aspect of the room and facilities; also recommeded places to eat. Room decor and facilties excellent - spotless. Didn't partake of breakfast due to early ferry booking.

A socket near the mirror to use a hairdrier and mirror at the same time would be useful.

Hosts were so welcoming! They even made us a dinner reservation when they found out we hadn't had dinner 😂 perfect location for access to the ferry. Comfortable room and en suite. Highly recommend!

I didn’t think breakfast was on offer until I saw a notice in the room telling me I could have had a continental breakfast but would have had to arrange this in advance. Had I known I would have.

My bath towel was lovely but too small, I love a big towel.

Stayed for one night prior to our early morning ferry from Rosslare Harbour and an easy and quick drive to the harbour. We were warmly welcomed by Michael who showed us our very pleasant room and told us about the bathroom etc. Our room was at the front of the house and there was some road noise in the evening but was very quiet at night. The bathroom was large and the shower was excellent.

The towels were rather thin and not very absorbent.

Perfect Location for a restful night. This is the third time we have stayed in Applelea House. It is perfect location having driven from West Clare to have a good night's sleep before getting up early for the 08.15 Stenna sailing to Fishguard. Generous supply of calming 'Pukka' organic herbal teas and excellent Irish Lyons tea for morning cupper before early departure.

The room was a little musty - couldn't work out why - we were in a different room from the one stayed in previously. But, this wont stop us staying again at Applelea house!!

Bij aankomst werden we vlot en zonder veel omhaal van woorden naar onze kamer gebracht. De kamer was erg smaakvol ingericht en de ensuite badkamer was erg comfortabel. Prima adres als je de ferry naar Wales op tijd moet halen in Rosslare.

Staying at Applelea House was exactly what every accommodation should strive for: Polite, very friendly and professional staff. Exceptionally clean and comfortable room, with interesting furnishings. Quiet and calm surroundings with easy parking. We will no doubt stay again on our next trip to Ireland.

There is nothing to not like. To be really fussy, decaf tea and coffee would have been appreciated. The option of a paid EV charger is something that I look for as well, but Ireland is very good with public chargers anyway.
