Tuskar House by the Sea

Our hostess was wonderful. We arrived super early due to a change of plans and she let us stay in the common area until our room was ready. She also arranged for the only taxi on town to take us to the ferry early the next morning.

The host was welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Breakfast was basic and disappointing. The bacon looked like it had been cooked the day before, then re heated.

We stayed one night. The lady who welcomed us, was great. Lovely accommodation, I'll recommend it. Nice location for a walk.👍👍

Lovely room, masses of storage! Nice quiet location and we found a pub near the fuel station , just a short walk away, where we had a lovely meal. Very convenient for the ferry

Everything, second time staying here before catching the ferry. I always arrive late with kids and it’s never been an issue with someone on-site ready to greet me. The rooms are spotless, warm and beds are super comfy. Feel at home instantly. I even forgot to request a cot and given I’d put the ages in my booking they took the initiative to have it all setup for me in the room so when arriving at 9.30pm I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Also the showers are amazing; so warm and spacious!

The location was perfect as we were traveling on the ferry early the following morning . Our room was fantastic.

The accommodation at Tuskar by the sea is simply perfect. The place is really beautiful and they take special care for nature—it looks like something out of a fairytale. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the staff are incredibly kind, understanding, and attentive to every detail. They helped us with everything and recommended several places to visit in Rosslare, which we greatly appreciated. If we return to Rosslare, we will definitely choose to stay here again; it is 100% recommended. A million thanks!

Lovely small hotel near to the Europort at Rosslare Harbour, which is why I chose it. Very clean and lovely comfortable bedrooms. The owner is lovely and cooks a mean full Irish breakfast.

Well maintained clean and modern property with ample parking. Room very spacious with dressing area and en-suite with a huge shower.

Breakfast not included but my host advised that breakfast was available, either continental or cooked with notice from evening before, including food choices. Unfortunately last breakfast was 9am which is a bit early for a weekend break. Also as this b&B caters for many ferry customers, there were plenty of early risers and subsequent cleaning commenced early.

I slept real good and was just a short walk away from the ferry... both real good for a hiker. I also could use a small refrigerator and microwave in the dinning room which is all I needed for my two meals that I had there.

We stayed here for one night, before catching the early morning ferry to Pembroke Dock. It was very convenient, with free parking. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and it was only a short stroll to the nearest restaurant where we went for dinner. We didn't take the opportunity to have breakfast before we left.

Water in the shower in our room was very hot and we were unable to add cold water. Jug not functioning. We left a note as it was too early to disturb anyone.

Perfect accommodation for our ferry the next day, and Sue was lovely and helpful.

Zimmer und Bad angenehm groß. Parken vor dem Haus. Ruhige Lage, da ca. 200 m von Durchgangsstrasse entfernt. Wählen zwischen verschiedenen Frühstücken möglich.

Really good breakfast even though the eggs were slightly overcooked.

We arrived on a very cold June evening to find no heating or hot water available. I had to find our host and ask her to put it on which she did, but I felt begrudgingly. In the morning however there was plenty of hot water and heating when we got up.

Window in wardrobe room needs some tlc doesn’t close. But clean a nd comfy beds lots of space in room for two people. Would recommend this property for travelling people.

The staff were incredible! They waited up to check us in after we were running late.. They were very hospitable to my mother in law, who is a wheelchair user. The rooms were huge, clean and comfortable.

Lovely clean property in a great spot to catch the ferry. Kristal was so helpful with lots of info, re getting to the ferry, places to eat, supermarket nearby. She made us a nice continental breakfast the next morning nice and early to get to the ferry on time.

Perfect location from port. Staff are incredible our ferry was late and missed check in they sorted a late check in. Room was stunning, best night sleep for a long time.

Signage could be better. The sign faced one way, it should be on both sides so that it can be seem from either direction. I had luggage, it was hot, and I passed the property bc there was no sign. When I walked back, I saw the sign bc it's on one side. Maybe a What's App phone number for foreign travelers. I rang the bell and no one answered. there was a phone number posted but I could not dial it bc I only had US phone. a good samaritan, from Ireland called for me.

Perfect location for an early ferry

Very comfortable large room, good facilities and helpful welcome, useful local taxi information, very convenient location. I even had a partial sea view. Close to local services including shop and restaurants.

I love this B&B, it is co close to the port which was important to us. It is super clean & comfortable. We have stayed therec3 times now & we'll definitely be back again.
