Great for our one night stay. Right next door to a restaurant which was definitely worth going to for dinner as we did.
The apartment is on a busy main road which we found very noisy as we don't have road noise where we normally live.

At night the road is a little noticeable being so close, but it's not really an issue, it still feels private. Only a very light sleeper would worey

Reviewed May 5, 2026Everything was as advertised. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Great water pressure in shower. Owners very accommodating and we would definitely stay again as it was close to town and family living in Chch.
Best to do coffee, tea and milk shop before arriving. They have it on site but we preferred different. Towels were air dryed and a little crunchy perhaps finishing in dryer would make them softer but all in all a great place to stay.

There was a fan in the bathroom wall that rattled in the wind, it was quite annoying because it never stopped. And there was a draught in the main bedroom with double bed, I had to use some trousers to make a draught stopper under the door as it kept banging (it was a very windy day and night)

Only thing I could recommend is to change the name so it matches the name of the actual building? We were looking for a place called "Bealey Delight", but the name on the building is "Bealey Quarters"....a bit confusing?

Child friendly and even went above and beyond by installing corner protectors on the bedside tables so that the kids wouldn't hurt themselves. They had spare hot water bottles available in the hallway cupboards, and the bathroom was well stocked.
