Reviewed Apr 30, 2026Sophisticated, comfortable and reasonable. What a refreshing retreat after walking the Paparoa track. Great for exploring Hokitika‘s arty and historic area. Fresh flowers, fresh coffee and a washing machine !

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026Great location. Homely feel. Clean, attractive and comfortable. Loved that we could take our little dog.
An instruction manual for the induction hob and coffee machine would be very helpful. Also really needs warning tape across the step down from kitchen. Flannels are always good.

Reviewed Jan 7, 2026Beautiful and spacious house on the edge of Hokitika with lovely architecture and interior design and very well maintained. The house is very peaceful and has its own garden and terrace, but is still within the town so is walkable (15 min) to the town centre.
You can't go wrong with this property - I had no complaints whatsoever.

There was no hot tub/jacuzzi as "ticked" on the list of wellness amenities - just an outdoor bath tub

Reviewed Dec 27, 2025The host thought of everything you would need when going away for a weekend. It was a beautiful property, great location, quiet area for relaxing. We would defiantly stay again and recommend this to anyone wanting a nice relaxing place to stay.
Mouse poo found in cutlery draw but this would be an easy fix and typical in any place.
