The staff tried their best to make our stay comfortable. They were ambitious and available all the time. Especially the staff at the location was very nice. The room itself was spacious and suitable.

Unfortunately, a couple of things disturbed our stay. It was super loud during the night due to parties and roosters. One night we had a mouse in our room which made the sleep difficult. However, the staff helped us to clear our room the next day. The venue had a pretty bad smell quite often. We assume that the hotel is located next to a trash backyard.

This is a dangerous, unhealthy and untruthfull location. Let me start to say that all the negative reviews on booking.com are right. The owner reacts on everything with excuses and lies. We could not leave the acommodation because of high season and traveling with small kids. We tried everything. At the end, when we asked for 70% compensation, the owner denied. Based on all the videos/photos, Booking.com compensated us.

This is not a hotel. There is no lobby of staff. The owner lives in Italy and communicates via whatsapp. The photos on Booking are not how it looks like. When we arrived, a lot was broken (see all the photos): - shower was not working; - lights were broken; - airco was not working; - elektricity sockets were dangerously open; - tap was broken; - toilet was leaking urine and water; - swimmingpool does not work and is very dirty - etcetc. When i was to the store and my wife was reading a bedtime story to our child in another room, my other child was allready in bed in the other room and screamed a man was standing in his room. This is NOT ok. When we came back at the end of the day to the apartment, we entered the apartment and a man was standing in our livingroom. He quickly left again. It is not normal to find strange people in your room. My kids and wife didnt felt safe. Two valuable headlights were stolen from our apartment and i confronted the mechanic. They eventually gave it back after 2 days. The whole apartment is unhealty. There is al lot of moisture and mold. You can see and smell it everywhere inside the apartment. The first thing the owner tries to do is giving you free transport from the airport for a good review.

Location in the heart of Kuta Lombok. Roomy / space is good for such a localisation.

The pictures advertising the property are old. It has since fallen in disrepair and is extremely humid, on the verge of unsanitary (we visited in dry season). Vegetation has grown a lot around the pool wich is now in shadows/twilight. The property is infested by rats (nesting in the false ceiling) Onsite personnel will react when mobilized, no initiative shown. The place was smelly and dirty, but got cleaned afeter we showed disappointment A bike / car rental is run from the property with people hanging out all day in the entrance

Betten waren sauber Großes Apartment (wird irreführend als Villa bezeichnet).

Das Haus hat italienische Eigentümer, wird aber von freundlichen Einheimischen verwaltet. Bewertungen sind auf Reisen sehr hilfreich für die Beurteilung, ob man ein Apartment mieten möchte, oder nicht. Mich hat hier geärgert, dass jeder, der eine negative Bewertung hinterlassen hat, vom italienischen Eigentümer anschließend als Lügner, Fake review, "you never stayed hier", "shame on you" und "Bewertung wird entfernt" beschimpft wurde. Das macht man nicht!! Ich kann bestätigen, dass alle vorherigen Bewertungen zutreffend sind und die vorherigen Fotos dem Apartment entsprechen. Wir selbst hatten keine Problme mit den Eigentümern, jedoch hätten wir hier nicht gebucht, wenn wir vorher alle Bewertungen gelesen hätten. Nun zu meiner Bewertung: Warum befindet sich innerhalb des Apartments eine schwenkbare Kamera, die auf die Treppe gerichtet ist? (Siehe Foto) ich habe diese umgehend vom Personal abklemmen lassen. Betten und Mobiliar sind alt, aber sauber. Apartment ist groß. Das war es aber auch schon. Auf den Terrassen ist viel Vogelkot (siehe Fotos). Das war ekelhaft. Es war ein elektrischer Fledermausalarm vorhanden. Die Terrasse konnte man nur mit Schuhen betreten, sonst waren die Füße schwarz. In allen Räumen waren Duftaufhänger. Insbesondere in einem Schlafzimmer roch es sehr chemisch. Das Geländer war an etlichen Stellen sehr porös und damit gefährlich fur Kids. Wäscheständer verrostet, Klimaanlage nur in den beiden Schlafzimmern. Alle anderen Bereiche hatten keine und waren somit sehr warm. Die 2 Etagen waren nach oben komplett offen, was zumindest etwas das Sicherheitsgefühl trübte. Es war auch nicht wirklich eine Villa, sondern ein Apartment. Im Haus gab es eine verschlossene Tür, hinter der ein Angestellter wohnte. Auch wenn das Hotel im Stadtzentrum liegt, sei erwähnt, dass in unseren 3 Nächten hier sehr lange Livemusik und Party (in einer Nacht bis 3Uhr morgens) laut zu hören war.

Tijdens ons verblijf is ons fototoestel en 2 powerbanks verdwenen terwijl we weg waren om te ontbijten (geen ontbijt in deze accomodatie). De (italiaanse) eigenaar nam dit niet ernstig en bleef beweren dat wij deze vergaten waren in ons vorig hotel, hoewel we het toestel die ochtend nog bij ons hadden. Het eerste verhaal dat we kregen was dat de deur van het appartement open stond toen de poetsploeg aankwam (wij hadden deze zeer zeker op slot gedaan), dat verhaal werd erna veranderd. De safety-box was kapot, zou gemaakt worden, maar was nog niet gemaakt bij ons vertrek. We besloten niet naar de politie te gaan om nog niet meer tijd van onze vakantie te verspillen aan deze negatieve plaats. We waren opgelucht dat we hier konden vertrekken.

Het appartement genoemd 'private villa met zicht op zwembad' is de onderste verdieping van een groot gebouw. Je hebt veel lawaai van de drukke straat waarlangs het gelegen is. Er is een ernstig vochtprobleem in de achterste slaapkamer waardoor deze een onaangename geur heeft (ook in het droog seizoen)

Dalai ligt midden in het bruisende centrum en dichtbij het strand. Zowel en mensen lokaal als de eigenaar zijn ontzettend aardig. Onze zoon werd ziek en ze hielpen met medische hulp regelen en vroegen elke dag hoe het ging. De ruimte werd elke dag schoon gemaakt, goede bedden, ruime kamers. Je kunt via de locatie vervoer regelen, dit gaat allemaal heel erg makkelijk. Grab doet het niet in Kuta. Bedankt voor alle goede zorgen!

Helemaal niks! Het was echt verschrikkelijk!

Wij waren er half juli 2026. Echt alles viel tegen, het was verschrikkelijk. De familiekamer/villa absoluut niet boeken. Je moet een steile trap op dan kom je in een soort open kleine ruimte met alleen maar betonnen muren, geen ramen en vandaaruit toegang tot de slaapkamers. Het is er heel donker en absoluut geen ruimte waar je even gaat zitten. Er stond alleen een keihard bamboe setje. Een van de slaapkamers had een te klein matras voor het bed. In beide kamers hingen geen gordijnen, geen werkende afstandsbediening van de airo. Alles maar echt alles is ongezellig en megaaaa gehorig. Het zit aan de weg en je hoort letterlijk alles!! Niet te doen! Ergens las ik dat het een oase van rust zou zijn als je de deur doorgaat en dat je niks hoort van de drukte maar dat is echt niet zo! Normaal schrijf ik geen review maar dit was zo erg dat ik mensen echt wil behoeden om deze kamer te boeken voor je gezin! Het zwembad zag er ook niet uit, was heel klein ook.

Très bon emplacement. Personnel serviable, souriant, aimable et réactif. Appartement spacieux avec une grande terrasse équipée avec une cuisine. Très bonne communication via WhatsApp avec la propriétaire qui s'assurait souvent de notre confort, qui nous a offert le transport de l'aéroport à l'hôtel et le transport pour visiter Mataram.

Trænger til en meget kærlig hånd. Der er huller i væggene, der lugter forfærdeligt (dog forsøg med duftposer), larm fra vejen og flagermus-alarm der bipper konstant.

Hele mooie accommodatie, we verbleven er met 3 volwassen. Zeer ruim, mooie kamers met elk een badkamer. Leuke kleine keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt en een gezellige zithoek . Achter de kamers een terras met ligbedden en buiten douche en mooie propere tuin en zwembad.. Super goed gelegen vlak bij centrum en restaurants. Binnen toch heel stil en rustig,we hebben heel goed geslapen. De eigenaar is snel in antwoorden op vragen. Personeel is ook heel vriendelijk en beleefd.

Our stay was simply excellent in every way. Impeccable cleanliness: The rooms were perfectly clean, tidy, and meticulously maintained. Every day, the housekeeping service was meticulous and attentive, ensuring the space was always fresh and welcoming. Absolute comfort: The bed was extremely comfortable, with a high-quality mattress and pillows. The location is strategic, just steps from the sea and very convenient for getting around.

The fact that it's in the center certainly penalizes the property in terms of noise. If you want silence, you should choose properties far from the center.

We were two families, and we had a really great time. I highly recommend it, especially for its cleanliness. It's one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in, perhaps because the owners are Italian and therefore take cleanliness very seriously. The structure is very tropical and has been left as natural as possible, yet with many elegant touches.

Great location, nice , clean bed and good bathroom. Staff on the ground was great , however they had to communicate everything with the owner in Italy. I felt they are under a lot of pressure which I have not experience in Bali or different location in Lombok. Staff in most locations are great and relaxed...

Well the list will be very long. Place is centrally located. Front does not look like a hotel or villa it looks like private house with few rooms build at the back. On the photos was great... I have to be honest room was clean and bathroom clean. Keep it in mind, we have booked 4 star accommodation. On arrival few men were sitting/sleeping at the gate. Finally they took us to the room at the back. It was clean but dark during the day. No shampoo, no soap, dead plants near the shower. The nail to the coffin was the swimming pool. There is small elevated swimming pool. Problem is we had room at the back with garden view. If you hot and tired and want to cool down you have no access to the pool. If someone is sitting next to the pool you cannot access it unless you will jump on the wall and then jump into the pool. I was not happy with this so we have been offered alternative accommodation. House was big, however pool was on the roof which was still under construction plus very steep stairs. Pool was the size of the big bath. Because we have not been happy with the accommodation and facilities we thought we will stay3 nights and move on instead staying the whole week. But once the owner learned we are not happy he told us to leave next morning. Very stressful as we had to look for alternative. Most Lombok people are great. We got accommodation for the following 6 nights in much better localization and comfort plus beachfront plus breakfast plus staff was treated well. Additionally price was the same if not bit less. Another thing I wanted to mention was it was very noisy in the evening. Roosters, children, washing dishes and screaming dogs just behind the fence.

.. we enjoyed our stay at this hotel .. it is centrally located, so expect some late night noise from bars. If that isn’t you, choose to stay out of town .. you are in a Muslim country so expect regular calls to prayer too. Azhar literally couldn’t do enough for us. He gave us a chose of room (each room is very different) .. being centrally located, restaurants are within a minute or two’s walk. We recommend Elamu for fantastic Greek food. For local food, try Warung Bu De

.. don’t use the hotel to book onward travel. I thought it would save time and be hassle free. It wasn’t. The “friend” used purely focused on money and cramming as many people into a car as possible. The driver was positively dangerous and played games to annoy other cars that he considered to have “got in his way”. My strong advice: Book elsewhere!

De WiFi was uiteindelijke wel prima.Maar je moet zelf de beheerder bellen om het geregeld te krijgen. Ze waren aan de slag om het structureel te verbeteren.

Au cœur de Kuta Lombok, l’emplacement est idéal : tout se fait facilement à pied ! Le personnel est au top, toujours souriant et disponible. La chambre est très confortable et parfaitement équipée. Mention spéciale pour la douche : de l’eau bien chaude, un bon débit, et surtout une douche fermée — un vrai plaisir après un mois passé dans des douches ouvertes !

Petit point à noter : il y a parfois quelques bruits de poules à proximité, et la piscine est partagée entre les villas (et non privée comme indiqué sur Booking). Rien de gênant, mais bon à savoir.

The location is nice. Manager and staff was very helpful. Place looks clean. The owner was nice cause he even gifted us with a free pick-up ride. They refill water and clean the rooms every day.

The water smelled in the shower and sink. I think it would be nice that they change the filter if they have or put on some filter if they are not using it yet.

The place is right in the centre of town so no need for transport. My room was to the rear of the property so tranquil and an oasis to the bustling crowds just outside the front. The room was that classic mix of Indonesian culture and modern touches. Bathroom was stylish and had an excellent rain shower. Aircon and fridge worked perfectly. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating and organised transport from the dock. Would stay here for 1st trip to Kuta every time.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, nah zum Zentrum. Der Bungalow ist sehr schön, vielleicht durch den Bewuchs im Garten etwas dunkel innen. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit. Es ist alles gepflegt und sauber. Moped kann man vor der Tür mieten (kleiner Tourenveranstalter mit Verleih). Unbedingt machen und die Strände in der Umgebung erkunden. Es gibt auch welche ohne Müll.

Der Garten ist sehr schön bewachsen, aber vielleicht ein bißchen zu viel. Dadurch wirkt alles etwas dunkel. Den Hahn im Nachbargrundstück hätte ich gern gegrillt - er fängt schon in der Nacht um 4 Uhr an zu krähen ! Es ist so, als ob er im Zimmer steht.

De ligging van de accommodatie is top! Je loopt het verblijf uit en je staat al in een bruisende straat, dichtbij allerlei leuke tentjes. Het heeft een mooie en groene tuin, waar je op ligbedjes heerlijk bij het zwembad kunt genieten. Voor de accommodatie is ook een heerlijke patio, waar je buiten kan zitten. Ook verhuren ze scooters, waardoor je je gemakkelijk over het eiland kan verplaatsen, en bieden ze een shuttle aan van of naar het vliegveld. Het personeel is echt uitstekend!

We hadden in het begin best wat last van muggen en beestjes die in de kamer waren (logisch dankzij de tijd van het jaar). Het personeel handelde heel erg goed om dit op te lossen (muggenspray en de kamer nog eens goed schoonmaken). Hierdoor voelden we ons echt gezien en gehoord. Je hoort ook wel wat geluid van de kippen, maar met oordopjes is dit goed te doen.

Breakfast was the best ive ever experienced - say no more Catered for every taste imaginable and some Staff were so awesome and went out of their way to help with anything Fantastic room with very cosy beds. Swimming pool was just the best I want to go back !!

Very clean hotel, professional staff. The room was large and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the freshly laundered and ironed white linens! Everything was great: staff, cleanliness, reception service. Excellent location right in the center!

Excellent cleanliness and comfort, spacious and beautiful rooms, very comfortable bed, very nice and clean bathroom, there's a real attention to detail that we really appreciated. The location and proximity to the center are truly unique, although some noise doesn't matter because the location is unique and surpasses everything! So, excellent location, right in the center of the city. The transportation services they offered us were unique; no other property in Indonesia has ever offered us this gift, so for me, it's a sign of excellence. It's a very welcoming, bright environment, with tropical gardens that immerse you in nature—a true gem in Kuta! TOP!

The property is beautiful. I had the garden villa and it was lovely - well maintained both inside and outside. The owner is kind and the staff will help with anything. I would have given it 10/10 if it wasn’t for the noise sadly (see below).

I barely slept in the week I was there. There is so much noise that feels like it’s inside the villa it’s so close - cockerels most of the night, dogs howling or barking regularly, very loud music playing until about 1-2am many nights, and loud prayers from the Mosque at around 4am. I wore noise cancelling headphones every nightly, which helped a bit but weren’t very comfortable. Sadly I wouldn’t return 😢

Le logement était très propre et spacieux. La piscine très propre et à l abri de tout regard . Le personnel était adorable. Tous les extérieurs sont très bien entretenu, la végétation est magnifique.

Isolation des logements insuffisante car à côté de l’hôtel, il y a un grand terrain avec beaucoup de poules, de coqs et de chiens et malheureusement très tôt le matin ils font beaucoup de bruit. Vous êtes obligés de dormir avec des bouchons d’oreilles .

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich toll. Es ist sehr sauber und die Lage ist perfekt. Wir haben die Transfers über das Dalai Tropical Team gebucht und es hat alles wunderbar funktioniert. Den Roller haben wir ebenfalls über das Team gebucht und es hat ohne Probleme funktioniert. Das Team ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

The location was good in the middle of everything. If you are into the nightlife and don’t mind a little bit of noise, it would be perfect for you if you just want to relax it’s probably a little bit noisy. I would suggest if they could put ear plugs in the room that would be great. The staff were very friendly unfortunately so were the mosquitoes. Overall, it is in a perfect spot. We just found it a little bit noisy. That is no fault of anyone.

They could supply havemosquito spray for the room as there are many mosquitoes. It just was a little bit noisy for us. The room itself was nice and in a good location. And there is some roosters 🐓 next door that crow all night but with earplugs that would help that.

Molte zanzare, ma è più un problema della zona che della struttura in se anzi il letto è dotato di tendine che è un ottima cosa.

La casa in cui siamo state ospiti è molto bella e ben arredata e dispone di tre stanze matrimoniali con il proprio lavandino e bagno. C'è una zona giorno molto comoda dove fare colazione e preparare il caffè. Lo staff è gentile e disponibile e l'appartamento viene pulito ogni giorno. La posizione è eccezionale, nel centro di Kuta e a pochi passi dalla spiagga. Lo staff è a disposizione per qualsiasi esigenza, ci hanno aiutato anche a trovare dei driver per gli spostamenti.

La ubicación es fantástica ya que estás a cinco minutos de la calle principal, la habitación y el baño eran amplios y comodos. La comunicación con los empleados del hotel eran amplios muy buena

Séjour exceptionnel ! L’équipe a été incroyablement réactive et serviable. Nous avons rencontré quelques imprévus pendant le trajet, et ils ont tout de suite pris les choses en main pour nous aider. The location was really good — we were only 5 min away from the main roads of bars and restaurants. Really comfortable bed and the staff was super nice!

The owner and all the staff were so welcoming and accommodating! I arrived early and I was told as soon as the room was ready for me. My room was gorgeous and immaculately clean!

The hotel has beautiful bungalows in the center of kuta. The location is ideal, you can reach everything important and all the cafes and restaurants and even the beach on foot. Hazar will help you with anything, from scooter renting to organising activities.

The only negatives for us were the noisiness in the night, as the room is not isolated and we found it a bit strange that the owner of the hotel wanted to pay us the transport from the airport in exchange of a very good review.

The owner was very kind and communicative, his manager was also supportive with our needs. The location was close to restaurants and walking distance to the beach. The bed was also comfortable and room very spacious.

Not sure if it's something general in Lombok that you would face in any accommodation, but as it's a Muslim island, it was a bit loud during praying times (around 5-6 am). So, if I could improve something, would be the acoustic of the room.

The room was big and beautiful. Private outside space was a plus. The shower was also very big. Really good placement next to the town centre and restaurants. The staff was nice and even helped us provide a scooter and transportation for our next destination.

All was good. A couple of small things needed sorting in the room (some toilet paper and shampoo) and the staff were attentive and quick to help

I recommend this place for several reasons: It is right in the center super convenient for walking, Fantastic and kind staff and then it is very clean. A little totally natural jewel in tropical chic style.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. The room was the most spacious we rented through various stops in Indonesia. The bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a few steps which was really beneficial to keep the water from the shower area separate. Hot water in the shower was also the best I experienced in Indonesia. Perfectly in the middle of all the action of Kuta - but I never woke up to street sounds or had issues falling asleep. There are roosters in the area that like to announce monring time :) Staff was super helpful and communicative! Wish I had had more down time to enjoy the pool area more.

Perfect stay, the staff was lovely, very available and attentive; the accommodation was impeccable, super pretty, very functional. We had a great stay and highly recommend it. We will return with pleasure to this address.

Me and my girlfriend loved our stay at Dalai Tropical. Brilliant location right on the main street in Kuta but also away from any noise. Lovely big clean room with lots of nice touches that we weren't expecting. Great pool and garden area. But the main reason we loved it was due to Jlenia, Azhar, Angal and the rest of staff being so lovely and welcoming and looking after us during our stay! We can't thank you all enough and are already looking forward to staying again next year!

Had a fantastic stay at Dalai Tropical. Responsive owner, all of the staff were really welcoming and friendly. Comfortable accommodation and kept very clean by the staff.

The only concern was the WiFi and others nearby getting onto it, making it hard to use. Wasn't an easy fix but we were offered free transport to airport for compensation so that was nice of the owner.

Free pick up from our previous accommodation which was much appreciated. Great location. Just out of the centre of Kuta, but only a few minutes walk to many restaurants, shops etc. The beach is also close, but we only ventured down there once. We hired the family villa and the garden villa. Both villas very clean and were cleaned each day nicely. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The pool was good and cleaned regularly. Power went out on villa one night and it was dealt with super swiftly by the staff. Thanks all for your hospitality!

My only recommendation would be is to have a free water dispenser in the family villa. All other accommodation we stayed at has provided these for free and they are most welcome when you have 5 people. Apart from that we were very happy with our stay!

Very comfortable and large accommodation with a lot of extra’s. Very helpful staff and very central in Kuta. As a bonus Jlenia the manager offered us a free drop off at Bangsal Harbour.

One tip; bring some good earplugs if you want to sleep early, next door they play loud music in the evening.

Location is amazing, staff is service oriented, back garden with a kiosk. Fridge in the room is very convenient to have cold drinks ready. There is place to park your scooter inside the property

Loud bass noise from bar nearby and neighbors’ chickens throughout the night. Hard to sleep or have work calls most days, I stayed 6 days. This is out of owners control however sound insulation could be improved.
