Jerri was absolutely outstanding and could not do enough to make sure we were happy during our stay - if you are deciding between this property and another please just decide on this one and you won’t be disappointed. We wanted somewhere slightly away from the party side but we drove the bike we hired at the property to the area where the nightlife is and it was such a short journey. The room was lovely and so comfortable, easily one of the best stays we have had in South East Asia!! Also recommend pizza place down the road. Thanks again to the lovely Jerri for making our experience in Koh Rong so enjoyable!!!! There’s also a free paddle board

Perfect stay here in a great location the room was great, comfortable and clean. Jerry was amazing from start to finish very friendly and helpful made our trip easy and fun. Would recommend to stay here.

It was big and clean and secure. The lady who ran it was very kind and took care of tuk tuks for me.

It would have been great to have had some food on site in the morning but I do understand that it is the low season at the moment.

The rooms were immaculate and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This is the best place in Sok San beach area for the price. Highly recommend!

Quiet Location with amazing views directly on rhe beach. Great small pool. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Beds are good. Short walk to village for many choices for restaurants and convenience shops.

Ci sono stati alcuni problemi (in particolare con l’acqua calda e con l’aria condizionata) ma lo staff è stato super disponibile per risolverli, menzione particolare a Cheaa e Cherry che sono stati davvero gentili con noi. La struttura è molto bella e in una zona dell’isola dove ci sono anche locals. Era molto pulita e il ristorante offriva piatti internazionali davvero buoni (uno dei pochi a cucinare bene!)

Il prezzo un po’ alto, soprattutto per essere in bassa stagione e rispetto al tipo di struttura, ma del resto Koh Rong è carissima rispetto al resto della Cambogia

We wholeheartedly recommend Lanting Villas on Koh Rang! This place truly stands out on the island – both in terms of standard and the approach to guests. The owners, Łukasz and Karolina, are incredibly helpful, dedicated, and welcoming. Communication before arrival was excellent – full coordination, quick responses, and real support at every stage of the stay. The apartments are in very good condition, clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped – air conditioning, TV, and reliable Wi-Fi, which is quite rare on Koh Rang and a huge advantage. There is also a scooter rental available on-site, making it easy to explore the area. Another big highlight is the restaurant – the food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. Overall, it’s an exceptional, comfortable, and well-organized place to relax. Definitely one of those places you want to come back to. We will definitely return – to Lanting Villas and to Łukasz and Karolina! 👏

Beautiful location and room view Great staff very clean

L’emplacement est très correct, nous avons loué des scooters pour nous déplacer et aller où on veut, je vous conseille d’aller manger chez Srey Mao qui est très gentil. Vous pouvez trouver des bonnes brochettes et la voisine à côté fait des bons plats, du ktiw, ban tchew ect… ce n’est pas très loin en dehors du village. Le personnel sont très chaleureux et gentils, pouvez boire au bar et manger le petit-déj’ ou un petit repas, si vous avez un petit creux. Nous avions eu une chambre en face de la mer, et c’était parfait. Vous pouvez profiter de la piscine, surtout pour les enfants. La dernière nuit, nous avions eu un problème avec la climatisation et ils ont été très réactif pour venir la faire réparer. Merci à Luka et sa famille, ainsi qu’aux personnels

Qualité de l’accueil au top. L’hôtel est juste à côté du débarcadère. Le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins, gentil et dévoué. Possibilité de louer dés scooters sur place. Il y a tout type de resto à côté, et particulièrement Toto pizza à 50 m, tenu par des vrais italiens, pour ceux à qui ça manque ! L’endroit est au calme à l’abri de la foule. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. La chambre était parfaitement propre et très agréable, ce qui a rendu notre séjour d’autant plus confortable. La vue est tout simplement magnifique, un vrai plus qui fait toute la différence. L’emplacement est idéal : à la fois pratique et au calme, parfait pour se reposer. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse du personnel, toujours aux petits soins et très attentif à nos besoins. Nous recommandons sans hésitation cette chambre d’hôtel !

Lovely new guesthouse in a quiet area of Sok San. The building and surrounding pool / garden / terrace area are lovely with great views. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, with a smart TV if you want to enjoy netflix etc. Lucas the owner was in touch with us via WhatsApp from before our arrival, he was very friendly and always available by phone if we would need him. We were offered a free coffee to welcome us after an early morning arrival, and we were allowed to check in early as the room was available. Scooters were available to rent at a decent price - all new and in good condition. We unfortunately were sick for a couple of days of our stay but could not be happier with our choice of room - good aircon and shower with a comfortable bed, which were much needed while we were stuck indoors! We had been offered a free upgrade to a sea-view room as one became available, but unfortunately were not feeling well enough to move at the time. We were given free breakfast one morning while we were ill which was very much appreciated. We really hope to be able to visit again to fully enjoy the island in future - Lanting Villas will be our choice of accommodation when we do!

Really very little - our only comment would be that we unfortunately had some noisy neighbours for a couple of nights, which is not really in control of the owners - if it would be possible to change the doors to the rooms eventually that may help, but still may not have fixed the problem. This is the only thing we would mark the property down on at all, everything else really was great.

Nous avons ADORÉ notre séjour à Koh Rong. Lanting Villas est un petit coin de paradis. Le lieu est absolument sublime, la vue sur la mer depuis les chambres ou le restaurant est incroyable. La piscine est également très agréable. Les chambres sont bien équipées et confortable. On peut même regarder Netflix sur la télé ! L’emplacement est également génial car à l’extrémité de Sok San donc très calme mais tout de même très proche ce qui permet de s’y balader et de se restaurer très facilement. Lucas est aux petits soins, il est possible de louer des scooters directement à la villa, de réserver des activités à des prix compétitifs et d’obtenir de très bons conseils sur les restaurants et plages de l’île à tester. La connexion wifi est également excellente. Nous n’avons rien à redire, c’était parfait !

Beautiful place with beautiful people!! Needed an emergency accommodation as my original one turned out less-than-ideal - staff super friendly and helpful, even let me check in hours before official time as I had a boat tour planned later that day! Clean, with good internet! Great restaurant as part of the complex - for breakfast / dinner / cocktails - and great views from comfy chairs :)

Excellent location for accessing the island. Simple, clean, modern rooms. Postcard view.

Location being a short walk into the village. Suited us for being quieter. Fabulous sea views. The room was large and comfortable with a good bathroom and air conditioning. Loved lazing in the bar right next to the sea with a lovely breeze and some comfy chairs. They served good breakfast and lunches. Short walk to village for evening meal with choice of restaurants. The pool was good for a dip to cool down. Decent sun loungers. What was great was the attention to detail here. Gardens being watered and tended to each day. The very frequent beach clean ups. Even by Luka the owner. The staff are so helpful and polite and smile all the time. Luka has decent well looked after motor bikes for hire. I borrowed mask and snorkel for free. Beach towels to borrow in the reception. Luka arranged a night time boat trip to swim with plankton. An experience I won’t forget. We loved the old rickety wooden bridge, that we walked over daily. We went for 3 nights and stayed for 5. Think that says it all.

Shame about the plastic in the sea. Not Luka fault floats in with the tide some days.

At the end of town so quiet with beautiful views from the dining area. The room was spacious with a good AC, large clean bathroom and internet TV. Nice pool and a tiny beach to set out from to snorkel. Good included breakfasts. Continue past the Villas for a jungle walk . We walked 2km and it went further. Lots of birds, lizards and good snorkeling.

The dinner service was a little spotty depending on if they had a cook. Lots of other options around though

Lanting Villas ligt naar mijn mening op de mooiste en beste plek van Koh Rong. Het hotel ligt net buiten het authentieke visserplaatje Sok San.. Heerlijk rustig met een geweldig uitzicht op het dorpje. De kamers zijn groot en van alle luxe voorzien. Op het terras kun je heerlijk ontbijten, lunchen, dineren, koffie of een biertje drinken. Er hangt een superrelaxte sfeer. In Sok San zie je nog een echte Cambodjaanse leven gecombineerd met wat luxere, nieuwere accomodaties. Met een scooter, die je bij het hotel kunt huren, .kun je het prachtige eiland verkennen. Luka, de eigenaar, is superaardig en behulpzaam. Het personeel is in één woord geweldig.. Wij hebben inmiddels heel wat van de wereld gezien maar Lanting Villas behoort absoluut tot één van de mooiste en fijnste plekken waar we ooit geweest zijn.. Een plek waar we graag nog een keer terug willen komen.

Voor wat betreft het hotel niets. Wel is het jammer dat zoals in heel Zuiid-Oost Azië ook in Koh Rong er veel.plastic op de stranden aanspoelt..Bij de hotels en resorts, dus ook bij Lanting Villas, maakt men elke dag het strand schoon. Helaas is het dweilen met kraan open.

We had a great stay at Lanting villas Lukas was a great host the rooms were comfy and had great aircon ,breakfast was good with a great look over the bay we would definitely recommend staying here and also thank you to cheer who served us for breakfast and behind the bar ..

Ontbijt was heel goed je kon gewoon van de kaart bestellen. De ruimte waar je ontbijt krijgt is heerlijke met zeezicht dus fijne begin van de dag. De eigenaar is heel behulpzaam als je vragen hebt. Pluspunt je kan er scooters huren.

Het beddengoed is van soort satijn en blijft niet goed om de bedden en maakt het klam zitten verder zou er wel beter schoongemaakt kunnen worden in de kamers.

Very helpful and friendly owner who went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The views are amazing and the water bright blue. Perfect for island vibes. There is also a restaurant which serves food in the morning and afternoon along with drinks all day and night.

The place was very high level, the service was amazing the host is very kind and friendly, the villa’s facilities are great the view is amazing. A bit far from some places in the island but that’s the beauty of the place it’s placed next to a nice village with good restaurants and amazing beaches. Very recommended.

Das einzige war der Blick aus dem Zimmer

Extrem Teuer Preis Leistung nicht erbracht Trinkwasserflasche aus Glas der Boden der Flache war mit grauem Sediment bedeckt und das Wasser trüb, nicht trinkbar. Das Bett war voller Bettwanzen insgesamt über 50 Stiche. Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Reise viel durch Asien und Kambodscha das war bis jetzt das schlechteste Hotel auf meiner Reise. Ich kann jedem Abraten das Hotel zu buchen.

All the rubbish immediately behind the hotel on way to rooms....inexcusable. Rock hard mattresses. Tiny dip pool dirty all 3 days we were there. More loungers needed. No help offered to carry bags from ferry, and much of it is over sand, rough ground and very rickety uneven wooden bridge (backpackers are ok though)....hotel should have its own small tuk tuk for this NB The village by the hotel is very scruffy

The most amazing staff, clean rooms, great facilities and wonderful food. Couldn’t fault this place at all! The best hospitality we have ever had (we travel a lot!) we will certainly come back and recommend this place to anyone who is planning a trip here!

we spent six nights here, and absolutely loved it. rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. our bed was very comfy. pool and sun lounger area was very nice. comfy sun loungers. the on-site restaurant was good - only western options, but all were done well. recommend the prawn poke bowl. the pancakes at breakfast time were also really good. great location. really accessible from the local port. quick walk to main beach and restaurants. main highlight for us was the staff. the team couldn’t do enough for us. everyone was so friendly, enthusiastic and happy to help. nothing was too much trouble. even noticed the owner taking his paddleboard out into the bay and cleaning up rubbish / plastic that floats in with the tide. incredible attention to detail that was really appreciated. as amazing as lanting villas is, the staff really make the place extra special. snorkels and paddle board were avaliable to use for free. the hotels resident cat was also so lovely and friendly! we were sad to leave here, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return. thanks to the whole team at lanting villas :)

Great place with excellent value for money. The rooms were very clean, tidy, and actually larger than described. The owners and receptionist were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it and gladly stay again!

Very helpful and friendly staff, and a place with lots of facilities. They offer lots of tours and activities as well as a scooter rental. They were happy to organise travel and accommodated an extra night stay at the last minute.

Not the fault of the property, but Tuk Tuk prices a little high if you want to visit other beaches on the island. Make sure you know where to you want to spend most your time, or rent a scooter if you can!

The staff at Lanting Villa are truly exceptional. I have honestly never felt so welcomed or well looked after anywhere else. Every team member has been friendly, accommodating, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The property is the perfect size — small enough to feel intimate and personal, yet large enough to have everything you could possibly need. From the on-site restaurant serving delicious meals, to pool towels always available, and even scooters to rent, everything is thoughtfully provided. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax and feel at home. This property clearly cares about its guests, and that care is evident in every detail. We have felt valued, comfortable, and completely at ease during our stay. A special thank you to Chanrath on reception, who kindly upgraded us with complimentary breakfast - such a thoughtful gesture that really set the tone for our stay. And to Chea in the bar/restaurant who was always so polite, hardworking, and welcoming - he truly made us feel at home every single day.

There was nothing to not like!

Ich war eine Woche auf der Insel was eigentlich zu. Lange ist. Viel hat die Insel nicht zu bieten. Der Aufenthalt wurde mir aber schön gemacht im Lanring Villas. Luke der Eigentümer war sehr nett. Selbst er war erstaunt wie lange ich bleibe. Zum Dank hat er mir für jeden Tag das Frühstück geschenkt und nochmals 30% Rabatt auf alle Getränke. Der Ort Sok San hat seinen eigenen Flair. Muss man sich drauf einlassen. Aber eins war super schön und gut. Die freundlichen Menschen und das gute günstige Essen.

Leider sieht man das viel in Asien. Mühl. So Leider auch hier.

Desde nuestra llegada, todo el personal se preocupó de que nos sintiéramos como en casa. El dueño nos regaló el desayuno durante nuestra estancia. La comida está muy buena. La habitación y el baño amplios. La cama muy cómoda. La piscina pequeñita pero bien para refrescarse y quitarse la sal del mar. Situado en una zona muy tranquila pero a escasos minutos andando de restaurantes. Tiene entrada a una zona preciosa para hacer snorkel. Nos reservaron una excursión para hacer snorkel, pescar, puesta de sol y nadar con el placton luminiscente que nos encantó. También nos negociaron el tuktuk para ir a otra parte de la isla. Mil gracias en especial al dueño y a Chanrath de recepción porque es imposible hacerlo mejor. ¡Esperamos volver pronto!

Como mejora a futuro, aunque Camboya nos ha parecido muy seguro, sí que incluiría una caja fuerte en la habitación donde poder guardar el pasaporte y el dinero ya que en la isla hay que pagar todo en efectivo si no quieres que te carguen comisión.

A wonderful experience. The team is lovely, attentive to our needs, and accommodating if you need anything. The room is spacious and clean, with a breathtaking sea view.

Perhaps for longer stays (like, around 5 days), plan to change your bath towels at least once (even if the staff will provide them without any problem if you ask at reception).

This is my second time back to the island and my first time staying at Lanting. The staff is amazing, and the family that owns the property are so friendly, really making you feel at home. It was very quiet in my room, and a chill atmosphere in the cafe day/night. Very clean room with an unforgettable view. Chea is my favorite barista, who is always welcoming with a smile. Close enough to restaurants and stores, but far enough away to feel the peace and quiet. I really love Lanting and will definitely stay here again!!

Ma chambre était spacieuse avec une jolie vue. Ce petit hôtel se trouve sur un coin de l’île très isolé alors c’était très calme. Un petit restaurant donne sur le côté ouest mais allez y juste pour boire un verre , la restauration est à améliorer, c’est d’ailleurs dommage car c’est un petit coin de paradis. Un petit plus des échelles pour faire sécher le linge et des bouteilles en verre que l’on peut remplir à sa guise.

Évidemment qui dit coin isolé dit loin de tout et j’ai trouvé dommage qu’il ne louait pas de vélo (électrique se serait le top). J’ai également trouvé dommage que dans ce petit coin de paradis, le plastique se trouve partout autour de nous ( les murs ont un revêtement plastique, tous les couverts, les draps et les serviettes de bain sont hyper inconforts). Des petits détails à améliorer.

The room was immaculate with a great view. There is a coffee house opposite which belonged to the hotel and they served great coffee with another amazing view and great chilled music. The owner and his wife were great hosts and did anything for you to make tour stay comfortable.

Era il compleanno di una ragazza del nostro gruppo e gli hanno regalato una bottiglia di vino :) Al bar colazione occidentale non inclusa come yogurt frutta pancake uova Materasso comodissimo. Acqua calda.possibilità di noleggiare scooter 10 dollari al giorno.

Das Hotelmanagement war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit, hat uns bei allen Fragen unterstützt bzw. für uns organisiert, z.B. Tuk Tuk-Reservierung. Die hauseigenen Motorräder sind top und sehr zu empfehlen. Sollte es ein Problem geben, kümmert sich das Management sofort, um es zu klären und zu lösen. Sehr gut. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Die Appartments liegen am Ende des Ortes und sind nicht direkt auf der Straße zu erreichen. Dadurch hat man viel Ruhe und Entspannung und keinen Durchgangsverkehr und fast kein Motorradlärm. Das kleine Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich und bietet genug, um es sich gemütlich zu machen und nicht unbedingt woanders hingehen zu müssen. Blick über die Bucht - besonders am Abend - ist traumhaft.
