Moonrise villa

A perfect place to finish our holiday, relaxing, comfortable and clean. A bit remote, but that was fine by us as we just wanted to unwind before returning home. The owner can organise transport if you want to venture out, recommended as it is very dark at night

Roligt, smukt og sødt personale, der gjorde sig umage for at gøre vores oplevelse god.

Idyllischer Ort in ruhiger Lage. Wer entspannen will, der ist hier genau richtig. Die Villa selbst ist mit allen eingerichtet, was man für eine entspannte Zeit benötigt. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und erfüllt einen alle Wünsche. In der Nähe (ca 300 Meter) befindet sich das Restaurant "Rock Beach Restaurant" in dem wir beide Abende hervorragend gegessen haben. Einige Meter weiter befindet sich ein Strandabschnitt. Danke für diesen tollen Aufenthalt

Very cosy and beautiful small villa with a private pool and summer kitchen.

The location is a bit far from town centre but the staff has taxi service available which was very helpful.

Breakfast was OK but nowhere near as good compared to other places we have stayed in Sri Lanka for much less money.

Súper súper bien, la habitación con baño privado estaba súper bien, además las zonas comunes estaban súper bien equipadas para cocinar, para estar y demás

Vila este superba in adevăratul sens. Foarte curat. Personalul este foarte prietenos si dornic sa te ajute mereu cu zâmbetul pe buze. Micul dejun foarte bun. Piscina este superba.. este o cazare in stil balinez cu mult peste ceea ce ai putea găsi in Sri Lanka. Exista si o chicineta bine dotata unde iti poti gati. In vila ai si un mini bar cu preturi foarte bune. Deasemenea au si un centru de inchirieri scutere. Ne-a făcut placere sa ne petrecem parte din vacanta aici si vom reveni cu drag data viitoare. Recomand cu toată încrederea! Multumim!

Najlepsza Villa w jakieś byliśmy na Sri Lance, bardzo pomocna obsługa zawsze dostępna, pyszne śniadania super lokalizacja, bardzo czyste zadbane miejsce na tarasie dostępne były gry planszowe i mimo że na początku napotkaliśmy problem z niedziałającym telewizorem to okazało się to dużym plusem bo mogliśmy spędzić czas razem grając w gry planszowe. Wszystko w tym obiekcie było na najwyższym poziomie i można było poczuć się jak w domu.

Location is reasonably isolated. You can’t swim in the ocean- too dangerous!

Najlepszy nocleg na Sri Lance, w willi spędziliśmy 3 noce w zupełnym odosobnieniu. Właściciel bardzo pomocy, przygotowywał pyszne zróżnicowane śniadania ( śniadanie wyglądało bardziej jak obiad w restauracji owoce i do wyboru każdego dnia inne śniadanie). Mały domek idealny dla dwóch osób na romantyczny pobyt, do dyspozycji mieliśmy różnego wielkiego flaminga pływającego w basenie . Właściciel przywitał nas świeżo wyciskanym sokiem ❤️. Internet śmigał bez problemów. Drogę do hotelu może niektórych zaskoczyć ale jest to koszt pięknych widoków na dziką przyrodę( pawie,jaszczurki, egzotyczne ptaki, mnóstwo wiewiórek)Pojechaliśmy z jego polecenia na Safari ❤️. Dodaje w zdjęciach kontakt do panda od safari ❤️ oraz pana który jest kierowcą i wszędzie zawiezie ❤️

Everything was perfect

La villa es muy cómoda, piscina privada, nevera, aire acondicionado, para el nivell de Sri Lanka está muy muy bien. El personal agradable y muy servicial, el chico que nos ha atendido estos días era un encanto, nos gestionó todo.

No funciona PickMe, así que dependes de la Villa para gestionar tuktuk. El wifi 2/10 me hubiese quedado más días, pero el Internet va realment mal. Seria adecuado dejar la red para limpiar las piscina a los huéspedes. Para llegar por la noche andando hacía la villa da un poco de miedo pero es muy seguro tranquilo.

Die Unterkunft und der service war wirklich perfekt! Lahiru ist super zuvorkommend und kümmert si h wirklich um alles was man braucht! Hier her würde ich immer wieder kommen!

Really cool design. Felt clean, new and very spacious. Host is lovely - very attentive and helpful and can drive you to and from the turtle watch himself. Good A/C.

Just be aware if arriving by car or on foot there is a very bumpy/slippery dirt track up to the property. Didn't matter for us as the host got us around in his tuk tuk.

We had an amazing stay at Moonrise Villa in Tangalle! Beautiful location, super clean rooms, and the friendliest hosts Lahil. We couldn’t be happier – highly recommend! It was really hard to leave the place! Thank you so much also for helping to organise the birthday for my partner.

We had a wonderful stay at Moonrise Villa. Everything was perfect for us. The staff were incredibly caring and welcoming and the breakfast was incredibly delicious, especially the dahl :). The surroundings are simply beautiful and peaceful, we were able to watch small turtles hatching in the wild and large ones feeding. Empty beaches and incredible nature. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience. We will certainly come back once.

The value for money, facilities, cleanliness, natural beauty. The distance from the beach is amazing. It's such a peaceful little villa, where you can cook and simply enjoy a tan. The caretaker is a gem, he is so valuable to the property and has good knowledge of most things. The bedroom itself is quite large and so is the bathroom, all the amenities were provided such as towels and shampoo. I rebooked it already for the next trip while I was there. Can't wait to go again

This location makes it hard to leave it for something else. Amazing place for couples. Everything about this place is awesome. The included breakfast is great as well. Turtle beach is 5min by a scooter that you can rent at the villa.

Simly amazing

Amazing villa surrounded by a beautiful marsh! The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful, and the place was extremely comfortable with all the necessary facilities. Highly recommend!

Beautiful space. Very comfortable. Excellent service. 10-12 min walk to a fantastic quiet beach. Delicious breakfast. Lahiru provided wonderful service - not only the food and comfort but he helped organise a scooter, a tuk-tuk and a car when needed. Close by are some nice restaurants and also the turtle watching experience....which is fantastic.

Not much. it's far away from the hustle and bustle. Personally 5-7 days there is great. Anything more would be too isolating.

We want to say big thank to the owner and all the stuff in the villa, especialy Lahiru, which care about us and ours needs here. The villa is a little bit out off bigger village, but close to the several beaches. There are few restaurants in walking distance also. Accomodation is exactly as in pictures. Nice, comfortable and good equiped for 2 people. Villa offer one bedroom with comfortable bed, A/C and fan is here. Nice bathroom have everything ( hair dryer, shampoon, conditioner and all other stuff). Outdoor kitchen is connected with outdoor seating area with a view on pool. Breakfast were excellent ( european or sri lankan every with fresh fruit and Hubice, coffee or tea ). You can order lunch or dinner, some refreshment here also. We spent here quality time. Entire villa is private with Lahiru or some other stuff here.

We can't say it's bad, but you are not in a walking distance from the town/ village, but when we book this accomodation, we checked it in a map, so everything was ok. Still you Can order tuk tuk or other ride.
