Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The shower was terrible and the worst I've ever endured. There was no water pressure and it was either scalding hot or freezing (when trying to adjust by just a slight touch of the button). The shower door was difficult to open and there was a large spider under the sink. The towels & bedding were very old and definitely needed to be updated.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Beautiful home; lovely, nicely renovated large rooms. Swing out back.
Small maintenance issue in the bathrooms - host was notified & apologetic. A side note for future guests to be careful pulling out of the driveway. It is in a blind spot & a parked vehicle just outside the entrance (during our stay) made visibility even more challenging.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Nothing to like because they overbooked and I was left out in the cold at 11 p.m.
I arrived before the check-in time ends at 11 p.m. only to be told that they did not have my booked room because they over=booked. I have sent two detailed messages to Booking.com following up on their offer to pay 60 euros above the price of boking for the inconvenience, but I have received no response.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026It was a nice location, not that far from the city center. It was easy to find too when coming into town. We did get a ground floor room which was nice with our luggage.
At first, there was no one at the front to greet us. Someone saw me waiting and had to contact someone to check me in. Then when we walked in, the pictures were very misleading. Very outdated and didn’t look clean. Especially in the bathroom. The hot water was tricky to work out, though when we messaged the property and they didn’t respond for the next day. We eventually figured out the hot water on our own and it can’t be run with the washer at the same time. It would have been nice to have instructions to the washer as well. The back door in the living room couldn’t be locked correctly because it could be opened from the outside. The latch seemed to be broken. We would have had a more pleasant stay if we felt safe and comfortable, which we didn’t.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Reasonable close to the wonderful town of kinsale.
-- nearly no noise insulation to the adjacent rooms - whatever happens there (toilet, speaking, sneezing, coughing, TV) happens virtually right in your own room - - very noisy floors while other guests are constantly running through it between other rooms - not very well cleaned. - - view to garden is presenting old trashbags and construction rubbish - - overall very loud neighbours for these days (coming in very late, packing and leaving very early, multiple slammed doors)
