Worst experience it is so bad and unhygienic to the level I can’t explain. Black mold, cockroaches, bed bugs, spiders any kind of insect and they had it.

Location and tea.

Bathroom are very congested and the washbasin is not working, overall bad experience with room.

Wonderful place to stay.. Beautiful location with the Ganga Ji view.

The reception staff should smile a little bit while serving the guests so the guests are comfortable as they are paying for a better service.

This isn't first time booking online and it was worst. Lot a lot of humiliation

The washroom was stinking a lot despite getting it cleaned and despite spraying perfumes. Exhaust in the washroom wasn’t working properly. The washroom door has holes at the bottom from where smell started coming out in the room as well. The beds were not properly placed, it was a very conjusted arrangement

Rooms, staff all were a mess

Rooms, bathrooms were not clean. Staff behaviour bad, no food. Kitchen was closed throughout the stay. Glasses and drinking water was not available most of the time. AC, TV remote missing. No dedicated parking.

The beds were clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning was chill, there were no locks at first but the people were nice to help us out. But I would only recommend the place to spend a single day or just the night alone if you cannot get a place elsewhere.

The toilets smelled very bad like it was unbearable, the room was cramped up and the space was very small. There was a cafe just beside the room boundary and they were blasting music till late night. Also the room had no windows and it felt like we were staying in the basement.

Everything was the worst ever ... The staff behaviour... facilities...room was very diry...the washroom was stinking like hell....like gutter smell....even beds were not comfortable at all....zero maintenance...zero response from the management... whenever you asked for food the cafe is always closed.... swimming pool was just for the name sake.....worst staff I've ever seen...

* No lift, despite being assigned a room on the 4th floor. This was not mentioned anywhere during booking. * Extremely slow service. Calls to both the reception and café often went unanswered. * Rooms lack aesthetics and feel poorly maintained. * Basic toiletries like toilet paper, shampoo, and body wash were not provided. * Dirty bedsheets with hair on them, which was completely unacceptable. * The overall quality has dropped significantly compared to previous stays. * Staff appeared poorly trained, and the reception was managed by very young interns who were unable to assist with even basic queries. * Overall, the experience was disappointing. I would not recommend staying here anymore.

The stay was very disappointing. The room had flies and cleanliness was poor. The service was not good and did not match the amount charged. I booked through Booking.com and paid a high price, but the overall experience was far below expectations.

Worst staff, they don’t listen to you, we waited for more than 45 minutes just for alu paratha lol.

Dormitory bed is not good and not comfortable. I have also allotted it with intership students of their own. The price is also too high for that.

I didn't like anything. It was a pathetic stay with no value for money. The deluxe room was average for which I paid 3000, the Ac was not working in June can u imagine in such hot weather. They took hours to fix it. No water, dustbin or toiletries were provided. There was power cut in the middle of night, no backup, fan stopped working middle of the night. I had to sleep sweating. Imagine sweating in deluxe room. Not worth the money. I asked for room Change I was denied that too. I was tired after 2hrs in traffic just wanted to relax. The staff would politely refuse any help. The AC in common room and reception was not working very very hot. There was lizard in the washroom too. This is not a good place to stay. Not gonna recommend it ever.

The only good thing about this place was the location.

It was not value for money. The washroom had a bad smell the air conditioning was working but performed poorly and the towels were of very poor quality. Even though I booked a private suite, the overall experience was disappointing and did not meet expectations.

Apart from the view from the terrace nothing was better.

The facilities were extremely disappointing. There were no basic amenities such as complimentary drinking water, a water kettle, or towels. I requested a kettle and drinking water multiple times, but the staff failed to provide either, forcing me to buy water from outside. Despite repeated requests, there was no proper response from the hotel. Additionally, the terrace room was located on the third floor, and there was no lift available, making it very inconvenient to carry luggage. Overall, the lack of basic facilities and poor service made the stay unsatisfactory.

Location was good, laxman jhula, sai ghat everything is in walking distance.

No room service, there was no toiletries or towels available, poor working AC, not a single cupboard or shelf to put the luggage in, no maintenance, bedside lights were broken and hanging. Smelly washroom, when i complained they simply said "please adjust", so overall a very bad experience. Not going to book again.

Food, location and staff were good. Experience was overall good but the pictures shown create different image, it is completely different .

Rooms were too small with no luggage space or even a good mirror.

Booked it because there were good reviews on Instagram but never had such a terrible experience. The behaviour of the staff is too rude. They wouldn’t take food orders properly and get irritated so soon.

Location is best and its clean too.

Should have an elevator

Located near Ganga river. You can hear ganga flow at almost all times. Clean environment and accommodative start.

Just one major flaw. Next to it is a cafe, which plays loud music till 12 midnight. Disturbing for anyone who intends to sleep on time and wake up early.

Booking was from 21st to 23rd. Booked a month and half back. Got call on 20th that we r canceling booking for 21st because of owner sons marriage on 21st. I guess I did better planning than owner. Didn't componstiated for my agony.. had to book alternate hotel on my own. Top of that took premium room with balcony to get ganga view which was on top floor. However ac was not cooling because of heat. But we survived on 22nd till 23rd. Room not good.. bathroom was renovated to better. Ac not working as it suppose to in rishikesh heat.. I guess lower room have been much better as it provided similar view with less heat from top..

Air conditioning was not powerfully enough nearly survived .. since it was for day so let it pass.. Room for not upto mark Bathroom was good.. luckily

Only the view is the advantage. Service is poor. They just brush off the things saying that being a hostel, they can't help. You have to fill your water bottle yourself from the cafe area. Have to carry the lugguage yourself from parking to the property. Do not ask for Special Pizza, that's worse than a street Pizza vend. They offered another room when I visited and said there is some girl who had stay yesterday and will stay tomorrow too, and asked us if we can stay in a different room. Although I informed that we will arrive around 11 or 12, we were asked to wait for the booked room until 2.

I recently stayed at shalom and had a really positive experience overall. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it easy to meet fellow travelers from different places. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with recommendations or any issues.

Excellent property! We booked two rooms, both with a beautiful river view. The rooms were neat and clean, and Shalom also has a great waiting area and restaurant. The staff was very cooperative—special thanks to Mr. Ankush for his kindness and support. Would definitely love to visit Shalom again! 😎

The view was good. You will get to hear sound of the river as soon as you step out of your room in the morning.

There was no community vibe. There is a cafe that has been opened which block the view from the common area. Also that cafe gets loud sometime.

Отличный отель. Удобное место близко ко всему, что необходимо - кафе, магазины, новый мост Лакшман джула, пляж и место Ганга пуджи. При этом в самом отеле тихо, большинство времени слышно только шум реки. Прекрасный вид на Гангу. Хорошее недорогое кафе в отеле. Персонал вежливый и старательный. Цена приемлемая. Рекомендую.

Пол в номере при заселении был грязный. Но после первой просьбы убрали. Половина номера оказалась без электричества. В течение дня починили. Wi-Fi иногда пропадает, но так везде

새벽에 도착했는데 비까지 내려서 매우 난감했는데, 직원분께서 공용공간에서 휴식할 수 있게 도와주었다. 숙소에서 강가가 보이며 리시케시 타보반 어느 지역을 가기에도 좋은 위치였다.

But overall it's a good place to stay and work as it gives a great ganga river view.good sit out area which can be used for working.
