Laoxao Homestay

Un séjour inoubliable ! Nous avons passé 11 nuits au Laoxao Homestay et nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. L'emplacement à Cẩm Thanh est parfait : à mi-chemin entre la vieille ville de Hội An et la plage, ce qui permet d'être au calme, loin de l'agitation, tout en restant très accessible (surtout à vélo). La chambre était impeccable, confortable et nettoyée régulièrement. Le grand point fort est le magnifique jardin et la gentillesse de Tran (la propriétaire). Elle est d'une aide précieuse, toujours souriante et aux petits soins. Le fait de pouvoir utiliser la cuisine partagée a été un vrai plus pour notre long séjour. Un rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Le vélo

Sehr ruhig sehr freundlich; ich bekam sogar das bessere Zimmer mit Balkon, weil es frei war. Offen vertraut familiär, sehr sauber gepflegt und hochwertig mit Seidenbrokatvorhängen. Bissl abgeblätterte Mauerfarbe machte mir da nichts aus. Nette Hunde und Katzen da. Parkmöglichkeit, grosse Küche mit schönes Geschirr zur Verwendung und Kühl und Eisschrank, wo ich mein Bier kühlen konnte. Ich wollte Ruhe von der Stadt und das war absolut paradiesisch. Trang die mich am Abend empfing war sehr freundlich und Ri die am Morgen/ Mittag da war als Rezeptionistin ebenfalls super freundlich. Würde jederzeit wieder hier her kommen.

Điểm mình thích nhất là không gian khá yên tĩnh, nhiều cây xanh, buổi sáng mở cửa ra là thấy ánh nắng nhẹ với gió mát, cảm giác rất “chill”. Phòng sạch sẽ, thơm, decor đơn giản nhưng có gu, không bị rối mắt. Chăn ga gối cũng sạch, nằm khá êm. Anh/chị chủ rất dễ thương và nhiệt tình. Mình đến hơi sớm nhưng vẫn được hỗ trợ check-in. Buổi tối ngồi ngoài khu vườn nói chuyện hoặc uống trà cũng rất ổn ^^

Một trải nghiệm thật sự tuyệt vời! Homestay rất xinh, sạch sẽ và cực kỳ ấm cúng. Không gian yên tĩnh, rất phù hợp để nghỉ ngơi và “chữa lành”. Chủ nhà thì siêu dễ thương và nhiệt tình, hỗ trợ tụi mình từ A–Z. Chắc chắn sẽ quay lại lần sau

Maison très agréable dans un petit quartier tranquille à côté d'un canal et pas très loin d'une rizière (et à l'écart des bruits de circulation).. Un peu loin de la vieille ville de Hoi An mais la propriétaire loue des vélos et (avec Google maps)  c'est très facile de circuler sur les petits chemins . La chambre est très spacieuse. Les parties communes (cuisine, salon) sont confortables et lumineuses. La propriétaire est très accueillante (et elle parle bien anglais) C'était parfait.

Les propriétaires sont adorables et l’endroit est très paisible je recommande !

C’est un peu loin du centre mais en grab ça se fait très bien. Si vous êtes seules ça peut être un peu flippant quand vous rentrez le soir car il y a peu de lumière mais il n’y a craindre !

Super nette Unterkunft, alles sehr entspannt hier. Man nutzt gemeinsam mit den anderen die Küche. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Красивые виды, приятный номер, дружелюбные хозяева. Приезжала на неделю, в итоге осталась на месяц.

Absolument tout, ils acceptent même les animaux sans aucun problème . Nous y retournerons les yeux fermé. Les propriétaires sont des personne d'une gentillesse hors normes .

I felt so relaxed here! The room was clean and well well decorated. The AC worked well. The women living there were genuinely friendly, and even invited me to dinner. The neighborhood is very peaceful and pretty, great for evening walks.

What a wonderful surprise! This place far exceeded my expectations. I felt completely at home—the owner is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond to make the stay truly memorable. The rooms are beautifully furnished and impeccably clean, the location is peaceful, away from the city noise, and surrounded by nature. And to top it off, the adorable pets make it even more special. Truly a perfect stay!

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. The owner is so attentive that the only time something wasn’t working perfectly, it was fixed the same day. I’ve never experienced such outstanding hospitality and fast customer service anywhere else I’ve stayed.

I love it! It feels like home to me, the location was so perfect. Few minutes from the beach and Old town via biking. The rice fields and the road by the river is super too! I felt so calm and the people were easy going too. Trang was so welcoming and warm. So friendly and kind. Great time and experience! You can cook and be in the garden when the sun is out and chill vibe if you just want to stay in.

This is a fantastic homestay located in one of the best areas of Hoi An. It's very quiet, and we were fortunate to meet their four adorable animals—one puppy, two kittens, and an older cat. We also rented a scooter from Trang, which was incredibly convenient, allowing us to easily explore the area. The room was great, with excellent air conditioning. The common area was clean and peaceful. We loved our stay, as it was very relaxing. For this price, you won't find anything better. I highly recommend it!

There are so many things I liked! The location is perfect as you are a 10 minute bike ride to the beach, and 20 minutes away from the Old Town, but are situated in the peaceful Cam Thanh area which is very serene and beautiful. Cycling around the area on the guesthouse bicycles is a lovely experience. The owner Thanh is super helpful with anything by you may need, invited me for dinner with her and her friends and played pool a few evenings, I felt like a true local! The room was very clean and spacious with nice decor and AC. The garden out the front is very peaceful for sipping a morning coffee or reading a book in the afternoon as there is natural shade.

We stayed for 5 days in a room with a terrace. It was on the ground floor at the back of the house, so it was great not too hot all of the day. Also yu have access to the kitchen, a shared fridge, a water cooler. The host even let us use her washing machine. She was very friendly and sociable. The house is a bit far from center and shops, but having a motobike makes it easy to get around. The house also has two adorable kittens.

Only one thing, there were quite a few insects like spiders, bugs and ants. I had to get some insect spray. Overall there’s plenty of wildlife; the neighbors have chickens and goats that are especially active in the mornings :)

Comfortable place to stay with great host. I was looking for my small piece of land after almost a decade of hard work. I was really appreciate that they listened to my story :) Great thanks.

a little bit far from the city center. It is better for the guest to rent a motorbike before reaching the homestay. I would recommend to have a bicycle rental service for guest.

Great place to stay! Quiet. Rooms are really comfortable and the a/c works well. Owner is very accommodating and helped me book when I couldn’t find an available room. She is also very sweet and her English is excellent! Kitchen area is useful to make a little dinner or coffee! Laundry service available. Bikes for rent - 20k/day and the beach is close enough to bike too. A little area to sit outside in the shade ! Also Thu Hoi Water Coconut (Nipa) and basket boat is close. A must try!!!

the people who run it, I crashed one of their lunches, used their bike one evening because mine unexpectedly ran out of battery, nothing was charged it’s just the sheer generosity of them, laundry is free, room is so worth of value for solo travelers

Amazing location and very comfortable stay. The area is very relaxed and quiet which makes a perfect getaway spot. The views from the balcony are also beautiful. It's energising wake up such beautiful nature. Cannot recommend this place enough! One of my favourite stays in Hoi An and I have been hostel / homestay hopping there for 3 months!

Dang is an amazing person and the place just felt like a home to me. I stayed for 2 weeks.

It was hard to teach their cat not to come play with my food when I was cooking. I wish they wouldnt feed the cat on the counter so it would know that this is not the place to be

Amazing place with homey feeling. The room is comfortable and the house has well equipped kitchen. The host is very nice and general good feeling at the house.

I felt really at home here and the house is really clean. The beds and the bedding are so comfy. You're welcome given a towels and a goody bag with a toothbrush, razor, comb and shower cap. You are welcome to use the kitchen and there are bicycle you can rent for only 20k a day. It is a 15 minute cycle to the beach and a 15 minute cycle to the main town in the opposite direction. It's a really peaceful area away from the busyness, it's right next to the river with the coconut boats and by rice paddy fields. I really loved my stay here, the ladies are so friendly and willing to help you with anything you need. If I return to Hoi An I would definitely stay here again!

Loved the place, peaceful, lovely room, Aircon, fully equipped kitchen, very clean, Tran (the owner) is a lovely kind person who speaks good English. The young girl who works there is very nice also. Very good value. The location is perfect half way between Hoi An and the beach.

The hosts were so kind, they gave us a lively room with a little garden because we were travelling with our dog. Everything we could possibly need was looked after (laundry, motorbike rental etc) and our dog loved the dog at the Homestay, they became best friends! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Homestay

Amazing stay, one of the best homestays I've stayed so far. Everyone is nice, the surrounding is peaceful, the pets are cute, the room had everything one may need. I just hope that I'll be able to visit and stay again some time, thanks for having me! 🙏

NIce people and clean rooms ( I saw even other gusts rooms too). I can use the kichen freely. Big TV ( I used it as a monitor for PC) Comfortable bed. Too good so I don't want too many people know this hotel^^ Chan=owner is very helpful any kind of questions she answers in Charming English (strong Vet accent but understandable).Other stuffs work hard and just watching them makes me happy. Beutiful young cat! Chan take me to some restaurants which were not expensive and great restaurants. When I had problem with my camera Chan and Wen came with me to Da Nang Camera shop and all the problems was solved.

If you dont like dogs it will be a bit problem ( 3 dogs) Actually I dont like dog but other things are too good ,,so I can stand ^^. beside the cat was so cute. A little bit far from the center but you can rent a bicycle 20kD here and motor bike is at 120KD 24hours rent.

We had a great time at LaoXao for over 4 weeks! We enjoyed the nice and big room, very comfy bed and the very tidy house. Trang is the best hostess we could wish for: very helpful, always in a good mood and modern. We had a great time with her and her lovely pets (dogs and a cat) and enjoyed our lunch-invitation very much. Since we stayed during Ted Holidays we where invited to the neighbors activities as well, which made us feel even more welcome and gave us a great and authentic vietnamese experience. The neighbourhood is very friendly and we felt super save at all time. You arrive the ancient town in only 15 minutes via Scooter, Laoxao itself is a green oase if the city feels noisy and to buisy.

Very nice room, comfy double bed , window and AC , great air and light. Host is the nicest, for real I was in many places and she is the best. Everything is very clean and very well designed. Big kitchen , big yard with plants. Best value. There is a local market a bicycle ride away, old town is a few more minutes. Beach also not very far with bicycle.

Even tho It was raining when I was there, I had a good time Ty to Tran the lovely owner who run LaoXao Homestay and her relatives. And they have pets! There is a lot of places claiming that they are Homestay but actually just don't have the soul or it's just for the marketing. But I felt like in home Ty to Tran, sharing meals, playing games and long night talking. I don't know about the other rooms but the one that I had (first floor to the right facing the front yard) was comfy, high ceiling, soothing green color painting on the walls, table, storage, large balcony and 2 windows, overall place really clean and well maintained. Place is not really located in the center but if it's what you are looking for, it's quiet and convenient if you want to visit the surroundings. Definitely good value for money and Tran even lend me a bycicle. I would like to come and visit again, keep up with that spirit!

Me and my friend stayed here for 4 days and we LOVED it here. The location is amazing, right next to the coconut tree forest and basket boating experience. It is so peaceful and we were surrounded by green green nature. Our room was beautifully decorated and our bed was lovely and comfy! Our host was so welcoming and kind, she helped us with everything we needed and even hosted a delicious hotpot dinner party for all of the guests! We were able to rent bikes and motorbikes too, and it was easy to get to town or to the beach. We also fell in love with her cute little dogs, and helped her care for the gorgeous puppy Xu Xu, who came to her in a very bad condition but is getting better every day! Thank you for everything, Chang, we love you dep gai lady!!!!
