What a great pleasure it was to stay at the Hoianese Heritage Tranquil Hotel. It is evident from the moment you arrive that the staff have a great pride and love for their job and especially for Hoi An and that they really want to share this with their guests. A half day city cultural tour is included with your stay and I highly recommend this as a great way to learn some of the history and familiarize yourself with the Old Town. There are several other group activities on offer such as the Cooking Class, Bike Tour and Food Tour based on traditional cultural ways. The 200 year old heritage hotel building retains an authentic charm and is in an excellent location within 50 meters of the river, close to the markets and yet somehow remains totally tranquil. My room was spacious with a very comfortable bed with loads of pillows, high quality linen and fluffy towels. The staff were always bright and attentive and so helpful with advice on things to see, places to eat, shopping, tailors, spas and culture shows. Thank you so much to everyone who made me feel so welcome as it says on the back of your book you helped me go beyond the lanterns and the yellow walls and discover a tiny bit of the soul of Hoi An.

We booked a very spacious room, it was lovely and quiet, and in a very good location - close enough to the Old quarter but in a quieter area.

I ask for a nice view room and where sent to the end of the house the room was nice but a bit dark.

One of the best hotels we stayed at in Vietnam. The rooms are nice and exceptionally clean, but what truly made our stay special were Ivy’s recommendations and advice on what to do and where to eat around the city. Her suggestions really helped us make the most of our time there.

Min, Ivy and Gavy are very friendly. Staff are friendly and professional. Great location. Not too far from the hustle yet close enough to just walk.

Limited electrical sockets. More towels like floor mats in the bathroom and non slip mats inside the bathtub would be better.

Staff members really made this place - Ivy, Sunny and Min. Very helpful, informative & generally delightful. The complimentary walking tour around town with Cindy was excellent. Easy walk into town. The room was nice enough and having a little balcony was nice too.

A little overpriced for pretty basic lodging and not the fault of hotel but neighbours dog barked consistently each morning.

Min, Ivy and Sunny and the others were extremely friendly. Min took us thru the heritage of Hoi Ann and places of interest. History too. The travel tours were also arranged by them. We had a wonderful experience at Hoianese Hotel! Even though we only stayed for one night and booked at the last minute, everything was great from start to finish. A special thank you to Sunny and Ivy, who gave us such a warm and welcoming experience when we arrived. It was our first time visiting Hoi An, and Sunny was incredibly helpful in explaining everything we needed to know about the area. Thanks to her recommendations and detailed information, we were able to enjoy Hoi An without missing any of the important things to see and do. The staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. We really appreciated the hospitality and would definitely stay here again when we return to Hoi An!

The only downside was the soundproofing. We could hear noise from outside the room quite clearly, which was a little inconvenient, especially at night.

The experience was amazing. We travelled from danang and had a stay for 3 nights in hoi an. Sunny was our poc and she did an amazing job helping us with all our queries. Their hospitality is great and they are one of the friendliest bunch of people I have met. Hughly recommended. They have a city tour as well. You should definitely not miss it. Location is perfect right in the middle pf ancient town but still quite and peaceful.

Ils proposent des activités et excursions : my son sanctuary, cours de cuisine, etc…Un grand merci à Ivy non seulement pour son accueil chaleureux mais aussi pour la qualité de son accompagnement lors de la visite guidée et de l’history talk. Merci également au personnel qui a été au petit soin (Sunny, Gavy, Min, Ivy, Tin and Anna).

Top-Lage in Ho An, alles fussläufig zu erreichen. Personal absolut zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit, freundlich - TOP. Zimmer alles da und sehr sauber. Frühstück von der Karte, aber alles da, was man braucht. Ich komme gern wieder.

Das Hotel/ Hotelzimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und hatte alles Wichtige für einen Aufenthalt in Hoi An. Aber am meisten überzeugt hat uns das Personal! Die Angestellten war sehr freundlich und haben nützliche Vorschläge für die Freizeitplanung gegeben. Sie haben wirklich den traditionellen Spirit von Hoi An perfekt verkörpert! An dieser Stelle möchten wir vor allem Ivy und Min hervorheben, die unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem gemacht haben.

Wir waren sehr dankbar, dass ein gratis Fahrradverleih beim Hotel inkludiert war, jedoch waren leider die Rücklichter sowie die Klingel nicht mehr ganz so funktionstüchtig... Ansonsten haben sich die Räder super gefahren!

Excellent hotel! We loved everything from our comfortable, wonderful, room to the free guided walking tour, to the free evening history discussion, to the delicious breakfasts. The staff, especially Ivy, Gavy, Min, and Sunny went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted and felt very welcome. They even boxed a free breakfast for us to take to the airport at 6am.

The location was perfect; it made it all easy for our group. Right in the old town, near the river, the market, the shops, restaurants and other interesting spots. I loved the staff, Minh, Anna, Ivy, Gavy, Sunny and the housekeepers. They were nice, accomodating, attentive to our needs, and communicated so well. We also appreciated the free walking tour.

Hotel molto carino, in posizione comoda. Lo staff (Sunny, Min Ivy, Gavy) estremamente disponibile e premuroso. L'hotel si impegna a promuovere la cultura di Hoi An tramite tour e attività; consigliatissimo il walking tour della città (che, tra l'altro, è gratuito per i clienti dell'hotel), ma anche il food tour e il tour in bici nelle campagne circostanti.

La nostra stanza, al piano terra, vicina ad una laghetto decorativo, era davvero molto umida.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in De Hoianese Heritage Hotel in Hoi An. Het hotel is prachtig, de sfeer is erg prettig en de locatie is ideaal om Hoi An te ontdekken. Alles was goed verzorgd en het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Sunny min ivy en gavy. Hebben ons heel goed geholpen en waren altijd vriendelijk, enthousiast en gezellig. Hun service maakte ons verblijf extra leuk. We zouden dit hotel zeker aanraden en komen hier graag nog eens terug!

The service standard here is top-tier, and the cultural immersion talk and walk was amazing. Having visited Hoi An four times over the past 20 months, I can confidently say this was by far my best experience yet. The hotel is truly lucky to have Sunny, Gavy, Min, and Ivy on their team. Their level of care far exceeded my expectations. When we got caught in ankle-deep floodwaters and came back with soaking wet shoes, they immediately stepped in to help. The next day, while we were out exploring the Old Town, they set our shoes out on the rooftop to dry and kept a constant eye on the weather so they wouldn't get rained on again. That kind of thoughtful, proactive service is rare. Outstanding team and an unforgettable stay!

I didn't like house gecko so I wished I didn't see any but I did see one and heard a few during my stay.

The lactation is good. It’s in Hoi An town. So convenient to go around the town. All the staffs(An,Min,Tin) are friendly and helpful. They give a lot of suggestions and provide a lot of tours. We get 10% off of the memories show tickets because of their help. We really appreciate that. Last but not the least, the room is comfortable and we all have good rest. Before we leave, we get souvenirs. The kid really likes them.

הכל! קבלת הפנים החמה והאכפתית, הגמישות (הגענו מוקדם והקדימו את הצק אין, יצאנו בבוקר וארזו לנו ארוחת בוקר מתוקה לשדה התעופה), החדרים הנקיים והיפים (שגם עברו ניקוי במהלך השהות), ארוחת בוקר נהדרת.. באמת פשוט הכל היה מעל ומעבר. תודה רבה לכל הצוות המדהים - אייבי שקיבלה את פנינו, וגם לסאני מין וגייבי שליוו אותנו, ודאגו להכל (אופנוע להשכרה, המלצות ודגשים לעיר, מונית לשדה). פשוט היינו ביידים טובות.

Ivy et Gavy ont été de superbes hôtes (ainsi que Sunny et Min) à vous renseigner sur les activités culturelles très intéressantes que prodiguent l'hôtel. Les échanges ont été nombreux et les services rendus ont été fait de manière efficace et professionnelle tout étant très humains et chaleureux ! Merci encore ! Que demander de plus ! De même, j'ai demandé à avancer éventuellement le check-in arrivant assez tôt le matin. Ce qu'elles ont pu organiser et je les en remercie encore tout comme les femmes de chambres. :)

Was a bit noisy in our room because of the home construction right outside in mornings.

The location was exceptional. The staff Sunny , Min , Ivy and Gavy were extremely courteous and helpful . They will be a major reason for us to come back and stay in the same hotel. The hotel had a very homely and comfortable feel. The girls at the reception went out of the way to help everyone and make them comfortable. They were also very knowledgeable. Breakfast add on was an option but the selection was very good and value for money .

Rooms were a bit small but still very comfortable and practical and clean .

The staff are really nice and help, they give very good suggestions on city tour and the location is perfect for everything. We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely come another time

Le staff est super réactif au demande et très agréable (Sunny et avy), c’est le point fort de l’établissement avec son emplacement. Les chambres et la literie sont très bien mais si je devais relever un point ce serait la salle de bain avec la douche dans la baignoire qui fait un peu old school, c’est un petit détail.

The best thing about this place is to see Sunny, Min, Gavy and Ivy over and over again! They’re open for having a fun and nice conversation and sharing their stories. There is just too much to describe how amazing Sunny, Min, Gavy and Ivy are, but it’s the little things what makes Sunny, Min, Gavy and Ivy so special.

It was all clean and with a few small thoughtful extras. Like as much water as you need, mosquito spray when you need,a welcome local made cookie.

Breakfast included is substantial, altho you cannot tell what it will be until it comes. We over-ordered the first morning, before we got to know how to order. It was close enough to where we wanted to be. Room was large. Air conditioner worked well. Water bottles were provided in the rooms, with extra bottles available. Welcome snack was a very nice touch - but we think it was covering up for the fact there is no TVs in the rooms.

There is a difference between being friendly & being too over-the-top "friendly" & downright nosy. We tried to be autonomous and walk in/out of our accom doing our own thing, as we wanted to on our holiday. After all, it's OUR holiday, not yours. Did not like being asked where we are going/what we are going to do each time we wanted to walk out thru the common area, even in front of other guests. We ended up having to be a bit rude & vague, just to get out the door without having to tell them like they were our mother asking!! There was no TV in the room - a BIG negative for a traveller who wants to keep up-to-date. We were angry when we saw this dupe! Power plugs at bedside did not work - made it very hard to get settled on the first night while using a medical device. (They provided an extension cable the next day). There is a "rainfall" head in the shower - which is useless for washing long hair! Very hard to wash hair with 1 hand while holding the shower hose with other hand. - THIS NEEDS FIXING for guest comfort. Some building or construction was happening next door to our room & the tap-tapping started at 6:45am. Ugh!! There was no air conditioner in the breakfast room, even when the morning was VERY HOT! They rush to turn fans on, but hey, just turn the a/c on for a few hours in the mornings to make it comfortable for guests, eh? Made breakfast a hot-endurance & not enjoyable. Staff hung around you in the public areas, wanting to ask you questions/tell you where to go for the day. Our day is ours to plan, not yours. Please leave us alone to enjoy our booking, our holiday. There is no parking for motorbikes. It was always full of other bikes outside the front door so we had to park across the road. Our bikes got shifted around by the night market sellers, & full of ash on the seat. The covering on the bed is far too small for the large bed.

Location was perfect for access to old town. The property was clean and well kept. Breakfast was large and delicious. The reception that we got on arrival and throughout our stay was the best in our travels this year, and we traveled 5 months! Min and Ivy were outstanding - better service than you find in most 5-star hotels.

If accessibility is concern just request first floor room.

Sunny, Min, Gavy and Ivy are four amazing staff members who always make time to have a chat. Like the rest of the Hoianese team, Sunny, Min, Gavy and Ivy work so hard to make everyone happy. Even during peak hours, Sunny, Min, Gavy and Ivy manage to have a chat and to communicate with me. Waking up and to see Sunny, Min, Ivy and Gavy is one of the best things during my stay!

The hotel is charming and close to everything you’ll want to see in Hoi An. The rooms are set back from the street enough that noise is not an issue. The bed was comfortable. Having a tub was nice. Breakfast was good, particularly the traditional options and fresh fruit! The key to this hotel is by far the staff. Gavy, Min, Ivy and Sunny work very hard to make sure your stay is memorable. They have all the recommendations for what to do in Hoi An. What stood out most to me was that they each greeted us by name every time we saw them. They genuinely care about hospitality. It was a pleasure to be at Hoianese Tranquil Heritage Hotel. Thank you all for the great stay!

L’esthétisme en totale symbiose avec la nature. Le personnel adorable et attentionné. Le spa est magnifique et l’endroit où on pratique le Taï Chi, le Yoga et la méditation est juste un bonheur de calme et de sérénité. Le restaurant est très agréable aussi.

Le bar était un peu tristounet, mais nous y sommes allés tard donc l’ambiance n’était de ce fait pas très festive.

Feels like being welcomed into a family. The staff were just great so friendly and helpful. Very thoughtful details like unlimited drinking water and whole day complimentary tea and coffee and more. Great in house walking tour. Unbelievable value for money.

It is always a great pleasure to speak to Gavy, Min, Tin, Sunny and Ivy. Gavy tells me a lot of interesting things about life and culture in Vietnam, and Ivy, Sunny and Min are always super happy, enthusiastic and open to have a chat! Gavy, Min, Sunny and Ivy always offer me water, tea or coffee. Besides their professionalism, they never fail to make me feel at home. The hotel itself is just perfect. Nearby the old town, stylish, no noise pollution, and the rooms are excellent at every detail.

Excellent place, absolutely worth the price! When I booked I didn't even expect it to be this good. The room was spacious and beautiful, exactly like the pictures. Spotless room service, everything inside looked brand new. The room provided an AC, a fridge, a dehumidifier and various lights, everything worked perfectly. I'm used to turning on a water boiler to shower in Vietnam, but at this hotel I didn't even need to wait for the water to heat up, the hot water was in the tap all the time. Also, there was a bathtub in the bathroom which is also a rarity for SEA countries 😄 Additionally, they left traditional cookies as a welcome gift, and there also were two large bottles of water in the fridge, and a kettle with cups and teabags on the table. There also were free to use umbrellas in the closet and a lockable drawer with the key attached to your room key. I only stayed there for one night, but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When I arrived they gave me a map of the town and pointed out the main tourist attractions for me. They also provided a great 2 hours long walking tour around the city completely free of charge. When I was checking out they even gave me a traditional clay whistle as a goodbye gift. It was a shame I only stayed for one night, would love to come again and stay longer than that 🫶 Special thanks to Min and Gavy, the amazing receptionists who served me and gave me directions!

I may have been unlucky, but the room I got lacked any view, the window was facing the back yard. However, it was an advantage in terms of sound isolation — it was absolutely quiet, no noise from the outside.

If I could rate this property 100 stars I would. By far my most favourite place I have ever stayed in all of the countries and hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff, Ivy, Min and Sunny, became like family the moment we stepped inside. So helpful, so kind and so full of information that helped us make the most of our time in Hoi An. It’s a very short walk into the market and lantern boats, the beds are comfy and the breakfast amazing. We will definitely be back and 100% recommended this hotel to everyone. Thank you Ivy, Min and Sunny!

Location was superb and all the staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs!!! THEY ARE THE BEST plus wifi is good and free coffee is 10000% to try! overall- it was one of the best experience- the PEOPLE and the STAFF are well trained, and very accommodating!!!

Sunny & Min were great, wholesome people

I initially switched to this hotel just to extend my stay for a couple of days while my clothes were being finished. Instead, it ended up being one of the best parts of my time in Hoi An. First and foremost, the staff exceeded every expectation. Sunny, Minh, Gavy, and Anna were the four receptionists I met during my stay, and each of them went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Unfortunately, I was involved in a motorbike accident while in Hoi An. My Grab driver was hit by a careless, and probably drunk, foreigner. The injuries and soreness really put a cloud over my time there. Looking back, I feel incredibly fortunate that I chose this hotel to extend my stay because of these four wonderful women. Gavy and Minh personally helped arrange to have my clothes delivered to the hotel so I didn’t have to make another trip while recovering. I had no idea that was even an option if they hadn’t offered to help. All four ladies recommended nearby places to eat and drink so I didn’t have to walk far, helped me with my bags, and made me feel completely at home while I was hobbling around for a few days. As I’m still traveling in Vietnam while writing this, I’m still filled with gratitude for the kindness and hospitality they showed me. Even the housekeeper, who I never really had the chance to talk to, greeted me every day with the brightest, warmest smile. The entire staff clearly takes pride in what they do, and that’s something I really admired. Aside from the people, the room was exceptionally clean and spacious, the water pressure was excellent, and the location is perfect…close enough to Ancient Town to walk, but far enough away to enjoy a quieter stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, and I’ll genuinely remember the kindness of the staff long after I leave Vietnam.
